What to do before you start

I did not get this from amazon - I actually found one in target and got it for my daughter's birthday. Unicorn, rainbow, slime, and poop: a five year old's "quatro"-fecta if you will. Some reviewers have complained about messes and things not working. First of all, it's slime so it's inherently messy. If you go into it knowing that there's a potential for a mess, you're in the right mental frame of mind. When our unicorn had a catastrophic accident all over our kitchen table, i was stunned; but my 5 and 6 year olds didn't skip a beat before they told me that it was ok, accidents happen Mommy. They enjoyed the entire process, mess and all. But if you're looking to not have the same mistake happen to you, these are things that I recommend. When your child pulls the unicorn out of the packaging, she/he will naturally want to press her cute little heart belly button. This will set you up for disaster. It moves the mechanism that holds the slime mixture in her body to the release position. Before starting, I recommend you take off her back and inspect the inside. Get a feel for how it works. Take out the clear container and slide the mechanism back and forth. You will notice that there is a hole that opens and shuts with sliding. Put the container back in, making sure that it is in the shut position. If you want to check that it remained in the shut position, turn her upside down and look between her legs for the heart where she poops (gross visual, I know). Press her belly button and there should be resistance before it opens. If it does open up, make sure to close it again before feeding the unicorn. This will keep it from making a mess. From there, simply follow the directions precisely and you shouldn't have a problem. Be sure to move quickly after you feed her from her bottle because the slime sets rather quickly. The directions say not to delay longer than 2 minutes. I recommend that highly or it is likely to gel inside. This is not a great problem because you can scoop it out of the container, but the fun is in the pooping for the little ones. I would also recommend putting the unicorn's hair into a ponytail so that slime doesn't get on it at any stage of the process. No matter how careful you are when mixing, you will still have to clean out the inside of the unicorn because it's the nature of slime to stick to things and you don't want it to harden on the inside. That being said, I do not feel that it was overly messy or horrible to clean. Just make sure when you go to shake her/do cartwheels that the knob on her neck is in the right position and that you do not inadvertently press her belly button while holding her. It will release the slime everywhere and will become a completely less than magical experience. Some have complained that once the slime is done it's just a $50 toy that sits around. My daughter loves it even without the slime making aspect. She carries it around like a baby doll. The unicorn gets tucked in at night, lullabies are sung, and forehead gets kissed. It's all what you make of it. If you want a slime making machine, it's a bit expensive for that seeing as you only get four packets. Bit if you want a beautiful toy that will be loved even after she's done making slime, this is a good buy. It's nicely made and really fun. Don't forget she can still "poop" water or other things that your child wants to feed it. You can add glitter to the water and still have *unicorn poop*, just less slimy..

I bought the rainbow unicorn for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. She had asked for one and it was a big hit ! That unicorn now go's where she does ..

These toys are FANTASTIC!!!!!! There’s absolutely NOTHING sexualized about them. They’re toys. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it!!! Love the slime and my kids LOVE the unicorns and I’m gonna buy all of them I can for them!!

They love it!

Our 6 and 7 year old absolutely love this toy, will not put it down. As long as you follow directions the slime comes out fine. Our first attempt my daughter pressed on the belly button before she was suppose to and it released too soon. Our 2nd attempt work just as described. Younger kids will need help.

We love her

This toy has all the top toy elements. My daughter’s favorite things right now are Unicorn’s and Slime and this has them both! The slime is a little difficult to get Just right but if you measure correctly it shouldn’t be a problem. My daughter loves hers and now wants them all! I guess we will be asking Santa for more, and crossing our fingers they aren’t duplicates!

Gently rotate so not tip upside down.

Works great. Just do not turn upside down. Only rotate gently from side to side for no longer than 30 seconds. Take the cartridge out of the back after all done to clean out. That is much easier than giving the unicorn tons of water to drink.

My 8 Year Old Loves It!

My daughter loves slime so when she saw this toy she had to have it. There are 19 steps to make the slime which includes how to store it in the keychain. It was fairly simple to follow. The cleaning instructions were helpful. They provide a slime brush to help clean but I found a tooth pick also helps to get the hard to reach areas. I think this is going to be very popular with the kids that love slime!

Unicorns and Slime What more could a girl ask for in 2018 😂

I purchased 2 for my nieces .. when I tell you looked for 3 months for these everywhere I am not kiddings lol.. After I saw the youtube videos I knew they had to have these .. all their Favorite things Unicorns and Slime I also purchased 2 blind bags of slime for each of them so poor poopsie still gets played with
