Perfect for the price!

Yes, it's a toy trumpet. No, your child will not become a musical prodigy from this purchase. HOWEVER.... my child's daycare was performing a holiday show and desperately needed a cute little man to represent the instrumental in the middle of an act. This trumpet + my kid = perfect! :) I was very pleased to receive this cute little instrument on time and ready to please the audience.

Very real looking and plays beautifully!

This is perfect for a child's first instrument, I was very impressed at how real this looked. It was cute at the same time with all of the colors. The keys play all of the notes, so a child can learn easily with the colors on each key. I purchased this because the clarinet is easiest when first learning musical notes. There is research that shows children are more advanced in their academics when they study music.
