Been a big fan of these 'shroom coffees for almost a year now. First heard about them on the Tim Ferris podcast, and I've big been hooked ever since! The Lion's Mane mushroom is where it's at - it really acts as nootropic brain candy and never fails to give me a mental edge. It's also great because I've recently been trying to wane myself off of coffee, mainly because of acid reflux problems. And throughout that transition, the mushroom coffee has been fantastic because it only has the caffeine of 1/3 cup of coffee and I experience no reflux symptoms that I get from regular coffee. Triple win! Aside from the Lion's Mane, the coffee mix also has Chaga in it which is great for immunity and skin clarity. The coffee tastes a tad "earthy", but mix in a lil almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla, chai spice, etc and you'll know that you're not drinking your normal cup o' joe. I also highly recommend their other products including the Cordyceps elixir (energy & vitality), Reishi elixir (I love drinking this before bed. It's great for relaxation and breathing) and the Lion's Mane elixir (brain power - and more of it than what you get with the coffee)

ok.... I didn't expect to like this as much as I did... but I friggin LOVE it. The reviews were discouraging so I decided to buy only a small pack like this one from amazon just to try it out before investing in a greater bulk order from their ... I also took the advice of buying my own chaga and lion's main powders to add to regular coffee and compare. I like this coffee mix WAY better for several reasons. All I have to do is boil half a water bottle's worth of water, rip the packet open, and pour the hot water in. Mixes completely and tastes great. My ONLY complaint about it is the packets open easy, but often times hole is a little smaller so you have to tear it bigger, tap on the packet, etc, basically a little bit of the powder gets on the kitchen counter. No big deal, just saying. I pretty much prefer the taste of this over all my ground coffee that I was subscribed and saved to so now I basically have a french press and coffee I'm going to probably throw out because I bought about 150 days worth of this stuff from their site in bulk for cheaper. pro tip: buy those premade sweet iced starbucks coffees like vanilla or whatever for the fridge, and after making a cup, top it off with that after mixing if you prefer not to drink black. It basically takes me about 5 minutes to make it and gulp it down. It's delicious and I feel awake but not bad-wired. Nothing magical, it's basically everything I love about coffee, but just a little bit better.

I have no idea if there will legitimately be any real benefits to ingesting these "super-"mushrooms in my coffee, but what I do know is this: they taste good, and they leave me less jittery than regular coffee. That could be just the result of drinking slightly less coffee in my coffee, but either way, it satisfies my craving for coffee and it tastes good. Well, at least the "create" variety with Lion's Mane & Chaga and the "achieve" variety with Cordyceps & Chaga taste good — the "hack stress / adaptogen" one with Tulsi & Astragalus takes a little more getting used to. If "Create" is Mushroom Coffee 101, "Hack Stress" is grad level, and I have no idea whether it's worth powering through. The other reason to feel good about these — and particularly the way they're packaged, which might otherwise be a drawback — is that they're great for travel. On the road and at conferences it's not always easy to get a really enjoyable cup of coffee but you can usually track down hot water. Now that I have developed a taste for this coffee, it's nice to be able to have a consistent cup of my favorite coffee pretty much wherever I go. If I'm getting any health benefits out of it too, then so much the better.

Uh i have no idea who Tim ferriss is or whatever, but i found these on thrive market in 2016 and had never heard of or seen anything like it before. I LOVE these coffees so much and they're so easy to make! I can't drink a lot of caffeine so i only use one packet at a time, add my honey and creamer, and my vanilla ghee and boom you've got an amazing cuppa! Fyi, these aren't made in the bay area and have literally nothing at ALL to do with the bay area. The makers of this company are from Finland! So nice try on being funny the person from lame Portland. You're just really ignorant and clearly self centered. I'm into following my own path instead of listening to some stranger on a podcast tell me how I'm supposed to live. I can figure out what's good and what's not on my own and i am capable of being my own individual. Anyway these are the best coffees and the medicinal mushrooms have literally saved my life. They have helped me control my seizures and MS and shortened my down time after a huge ms exacerbation that left me bedridden. They really do work. If you don't normally drink your coffee black, then why would you drink this black? Make it the way you want to and would normally make a cup of coffee. Lol also if it's not enough mushrooms in it, you can purchase them individually at much higher doses and are very strong. My ONLY complaint is that they are really high priced and i had hoped that by this point they would have dropped in price a bit but i guess not. They're way cheaper on thrive market though.

It's good. Ill buy it again. My first cup I could taste the dehydrated mushrooms a little but after the first cup that flavor goes away. Kind of how (if you like kombucha) the first time you taste kombucha you may not like it, but then it's ok or even good after your first time. I would buy it again. I would even make it my every day cup. It's instant coffee and each pouch only needs 7oz of hot water. Cream and sugar work well in it but I drink it black. Only thing is it's spendy, so I would buy whatever quantity had the best value. That's my review. ✌️❤️

I had been eying this in the store for a few months before trying it, then finally bought some to take on a climbing/backpacking trip. I had bought a bunch and still had some left after getting back and I started noticing an improvement in my workouts on days that I drank this instead of regular coffee, so I now purchase it on Amazon ( for half of what the store charges). It definitely has that instant coffee taste, that doesn't really taste like coffee. (Not a bad think for someone that does not really like coffee or sweet drinks). Honestly I tend to just chug it down like an emergen-c drink. It does mix decently well with cold milk. I drink this before climbing - kind of as a pre-workout) and really notice a difference on days that I drink this vs. do not. It helps me focus and think about the problems to move gracefully though them rather than muscling my way to the top to just get there. My technique has come a long way in the last couple months with the help of this stuff. I don't ever notice a caffeine buzz or anything, but I don't get frustrated as easily after drinking it so I definitely think there is something to it- even if it is just a placebo effect.

Absolutely the best for brain function adhd Irlen Syndrome anxiety! It calms me down and I take on the world normal without an adrenaline rush my mind is clear and my thoughts are different rather on autopilot my creativity doesn’t go away but gets better and happiness comes from that! I’ve tried Thrive LeVel, elevate happy coffee, essential oils, adderal Prozac, you name it I’ve had it and this stuff by far is the best mostly because it just makes me feel overall zen I would say which I’ve never had before and also I’m still talkative and not in a hurry which is the best part. Most medicines reduce your creativity and talking where this accents it! If you had great ideas before wait til you try this! It’s the perfect study buddy for projects or everyday life! I am a barber and have to keep my momentum up all day I usually drink some energy drinks or coffee every two hours this stuff lasts to where you don’t need them anymore! So it saves me money in the long run and everyone is asking what I’m doing. As a multi tasking overwhelmed mom this is what you need! I do add it to my normal coffee because I like that as well. But my house is no longer chaos it’s zen and I’m focused on what’s important and able to prioritize. If that makes since rather than getting destructed by 3 kids.

I should start by saying that I value my time and tend to go the path of least time-commitment when it comes to eating. Enter the BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker. It’s not the easiest lid to pop shut, so make sure you really push down until it’s closed. Otherwise you’ll be cleaning up a big ol’ mess. Assuming you can do that part right, it does the job of blending protein drinks perfectly. That brings us to parts two and three; Chocolate-flavored Molk from Jocko and Four Sigmatic with Lion’s Mane. I’ve had a couple runs (13+ miles) where I’ve capped it off with the protein powder coupled with the instant coffee over water. What a perfect combo! I tried the protein powder by itself with water and it was missing something. I didn’t want to go with milk, so instead I grabbed the coffee out of the pantry. Usually runs of this distance in July and August will leave me drained for hours and in need of a nap but grabbing some fast protein and a smidge of smart caffeine takes away all the usual post-run drag. If you’re looking for a way to liven up your post-run mornings/afternoons, this is the way to go.

I've been following research surrounding culinary mushrooms for about a year. I originally got into them by taking Host Defense, but felt that they were priced a little outside my comfort range. I originally started buying Four Sigmatic Lion's Mane and Chaga Coffee from a local grocery store in the single packets (priced about $1.79) so buying from Amazon saves a little money. I recently gave a pack to my 78 year old Grandmother who suffers from slight dementia. Upon consuming the coffee she immediately perked up for the rest of the day and I saw a noticeable improvement in mood. I realize this is n=1 (or two if you include me), but the results were encouraging. Obviously I would recommend doing your own research on culinary mushrooms before committing to adding to your diet, but I will say that I'm impressed by the amount of scientific (NIH published) data that is out there surrounding Lion's Mane and the neurological benefits. One thing that I do find myself a little lost on is the benefits of fruiting bodies vs. mycelium. Other supplements use grown on grain mycelium (the stuff under the ground) and Four Sigmatic uses fruiting bodies (the part that grows above ground). Lots of debate on the net as to what has the most benefits, but I usually just try to get myself a fair bit of both.

This stuff is awesome. Caffeine is tricky for me; a lot of times with coffee if I don't spread out my consumption over an hour or more, I go from tired to jittery mess in a split second, and back down just as fast. I've never felt jittery drinking this mushroom coffee. Also, whereas regular coffee seems to send my energy to where I don't need it while I'm working, this stuff really does seem to focus its powers on my brain. Could be the power of suggestion, I don't care, because whatever the reason, I'm way more focused with this stuff than when I'm on regular coffee. That being said, it's not entirely true that, as many reviewers state, it tastes just like coffee. That's certainly not to say it tastes bad, I would take this stuff over your average cup and it's far and away better than any crap coming out of a Keurig. The best way I can describe it is earthy. But I repeat, if you use coffee for any job where your brain is working harder than your body, you HAVE to try this stuff.
