Awesome bass!

Bought as a gift for my partner. She loves it. Totes it everywhere. Constantly shredding on the go and at home, sounding great, and even learning home harder stuff more easily because of the short scale. Only downside: the plastic strings are super cool, they really are neat. However, we find that they produce a sound with the electric pickup when being rubbed while plugged into an amp that is like styrofoam being rubbed on styrofoam.

Amazing U bass! I am very pleased with this instrument after having it for a couple months. Plays like a champ and sounds surprisingly big for it's size. I replaced the strings with nylon round wounds and the sound and feel (especially feel) only got better from there. Sounds great through your regular bass amp and tuner works like a champ too. I did not regret buying this little bass!

I feel like goldilocks :)

I'm new to stringed instruments and I have a bad left shoulder. A full scale bass is too difficult for me. I own a short scale electric and it's a better fit but this little guy is just right. The case/bag it comes in has backpack straps and a center hanging loop. There is also a Velcro band to go around the top of the neck for transit; a nice touch. The instrument shipped with one strap button, I added a second to the bottom of the neck. The strings are a little different of course but they are easy on the fingers. The tuner add 3 band eq are great features as well. From a complete novice with ones of hours of expertise under my belt, I'll say I'm happy with my purchase. In all fairness, I did show it to some actual bass players who know what they are looking at and they all thought it was a solid, travel friendly buy.

A fine instrument at a reasonable price.

Fun U-Bass!

I wont pretend to be an expert, but I do love this U-Bass. I am finding it comfortable to learn on, and I really love the sound of it. It comes with a gig bag, built in tuner, and bottom peg for a strap. The amp I ended up getting for this is the Ampeg BA 108, and I'm pleased with the combo.
