perfect jump starter

I bought this power pack as an emergency backup and use it as a power bank to charge my smart and tablet as well. It works very well, it can charge my iPhone xs 7 times after a single charge( by the way, iPhone xs is the most excellent smartphone I have ever used, really beautiful). It has an ON/OFF switch as the seller described. I'm not sure whether it can extend the standby-time up to 12 months as I got it not too long ago, but it works very well as far as I have it, just remember to make sure the switch is ON before you charge it. I’ll update if necessary. Yesterday was the first time that I use this unit to jump start my car. When I parked my car in the garage, I forgot to turn off the headlight, it was turned on for the whole day until the car battery runs out, so I can not start my car with the dead car battery today. Time to use the jump starter, there was a little green light as soon as the battery was connected, then I went back to my car and started the engine, it worked as expected, my car was started immediately, amazing!!!! It is BMW M3 F90 with the 3.0L V6 engine, it's such a great design for this compact power bank has so powerful performance. It was shipped in a hard carton and packaged in a hard-semi storage case with all the accessories, which is very impressive, you can take it anywhere or put it into your glove box easily. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this product.

Outstanding

I bought this after having to return one of those large battery packs because it wouldn't even charge. (Stanley piece of junk). This one arrived with about an 80% charge. Plugged it into a wall outlet and it was fully charged in about an hour. I have an atv stored on a property with no electricity. I knew the battery was dead. Took this and hooked it up. Fired the atv up immediately. I've used it 3 times since. The only "problem" I had was getting it to connect properly to the small leads on the atv battery. This is designed for car battery terminals, so that's my problem, not the unit's. The unit itself is very compact. Inside the case, with all the accessories, you could still store it under the front seat of your car instead of the trunk.

Charging issue solved

I do have a charging issue with it, it came charged at 69%. I charged it for 6 hrs and it still says 69%. I did send an email to the support team and assume they will get back to me after the weekend. a little frustrating but hope we can get it taken care of. I did receive a reply very promptly and was assured that the instructions had been updated to tell you to make sure the unit is in the on position. This is not like your cell phone that charges either way. So great customer service and will consider other products in future. Gary G.

Polar Vortex = dead battery = car sitting for a couple of days but .... IT WORKED!!

Unbelievable! This little thing packs a punch!! I live in Chicago where the windchill was -50 yesterday. My car had been parked on the street for a couple of days and of course the battery died. This morning I took this bad baby out, hooked it up and the car started without a hitch! I really didn't expect much by looking at it when I first got it. I watched some videos on this Tacklife T-8 before using it. The Tracker showed 83% charge, so I connected it and charged it until it reached 100%, It then sat until this morning. I braved the -30 windchill and went out and this morning I took this bad baby out, hooked it up and the car started without a hitch! What a beautiful sound. When I unhooked it the charger was sitting at 97% and I'm now charging back up to 100%. The only minus is that once you take all the cables out they don't fit back in so nicely. BUT, those are just a bonus when it comes to starting a car and definitely do not warrant taking a star off. The only other thing I checked out was the flashlight and literally blinded myself. Works great. I've had jumper cables before but this is the first jump starter I've purchased and am VERY happy I did. It is really, really simple to use and definitely worth not having to wait for roadside services to finally get to you when weather is this bad. It's lightweight and compact. I would HIGHLY recommend this one from my personal experience. Oh, and the charger is now sitting back at 100%. Well worth the money!!

TACKlife T8 jumpstaarter

Just received the product today with free 1 day shipping. I'm impressed it took about 2.5 hours to charge up to 100% from a 64% charged as received. It works I charged up a cell phone ,jump started a 5.7 L gas engine and still showed a 100% charge. The manual sucks but it seems to be of solid construction and is a much better unit then the smaller one I used before. The lights,compass and charge outlets are a plus and come with a nice and sturdy case. Satisfied customer at this point. If I have problems with it I will change my review but for most V8 size engines this is definitely one of the better units out there.

Works perfect!

Now that the weather is getting cold here, I've been having intermittent issues starting my car. The Tacklife T8 came in handy today when I walked out side to a dead car. It jumped it off instantly! build quality is superb and the unit features tons of extras that can help if it can't be jumped. The pack has a light you can use to flag someone down or use to fix something else, a compass you can use to head in the right direction and 2 USB ports in case you're stuck with a dead phone. The kit includes every cable you'd need, including a 12v adapter for your car charger/12v devices. When charging, make sure to have the unit switched on or it will not charge.

The Best Hands Down

I have to say, I first received one that wouldn't turn on, right when I was getting ready to go on a road trip, it didn't charge or turn on, I emailed them and they got back to me right away, I tried everything they told me and still nothing. They made sure to send me a new one right away before I left on a 10K road trip. The one they sent worked right away, it came at 65 percent charge, after I figured out how to charge it, which you have to charge it while the unit is on. Went to my mechanic to check my car out and it happened that he had two cars that the battery died so I was excited and told him let me try out the tacklife, I was able to start a BMW X5 which is the car I have and I was so excited when it just started up with no issue, the we started up an BMW M5 without issue as well... Amazing... I then went on my road trip and after using the unit to start up two cars it still had 96 percent and I used it and my kids used it to charge their tablets and phones and by the end of the first steps of our road trip the unit had 61 percent battery life and that was with starting two cars, two tablets and three phones. This is such an important unit to keep in your car, it's indeed a life saver. But what made it even better, was the very caring customer service that I received from them, and they followed up asking how was the road trip. When I finally made it to my friends house, we tried it again while it was at 60 percent battery, we started an old motorcycle that was in his garage that he hadn't used in a year and then started up an old lawnmower as well... This is a must have for sure... Thank you so much
