Great light!

I just temporarily installed 10 units in my new barn/shop. I put 8/10 units in a circle around the perimeter of the shop half of the floor plan and the remaining two on the other side where I will store my tractor, its accessories and other yard equipment. The shop area is ~31' long and 13.5' wide. I positioned units 30" off outside walls and the center beam. It's 11' high to the bottom of my attic floor joists. The space is rough studded with no insulation or wallboard yet. I spaced units 4' apart in the circle. I'm quite impressed with the amount of light. I was expecting to have to put in more, but this might be enough when it's all said and done. We'll see once I get my finish floor in and all my woodworking tools positioned around the perimeter. So far so good. All ten units came with all parts and all worked. I wonder how long it will be before one fails? Also wondering how everything will work once it is below freezing in the space this winter? But all in all I'm very happy with this purchase.

These LED lights are perfect! Plenty of light and easy install. I have them plug into a drop cord awaiting til tommorrow for electrician to show up and wire the lights in permanently to a switch. One word AWESOME☆☆☆☆☆

Don’t hesitate to purchase

These LED shop lights arrived on time and were appropriately packaged. The included installation instructions were brief and clear. I was replacing hard wired fluorescent lights so I had to mount boxes and receptacles which took far longer than the simple installation of the LED Shop Lights: screw in 2 ceiling hooks, attach the hanging brackets with chains to the back of the light (simple), hang the chains to the hooks, plug in the light and pull the chain. My shop went from a flickering dungeon to a “bright as an operating room” place to work. Well worth the cost and brief effort to install.

Simple, bright, and durable.

This light is great. I haven’t installed them in the shop yet, but I have a feeling they’ll be bright enough. The chains make for very simple hanging from anywhere. Since they’re LED, you won’t have to worry about excess heat or annoying humming. I bought two cases for my shop, and if need be I’ll buy more. If I remember I’ll post a picture once my shop gets wired. Update: my shop is wired and I have 4 rows of 4 lights. There are no dark spots in my shop. I love these lights, they work exactly as I need. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent Product

These arrived undamaged although the box is a bit thin. The LED's are inside frosted plastic tubes to diffuse the light. They are so much brighter than fluorescent bulbs, and are a nice white color which is good for a shop or work area.

Wonderful Lights

I commented before when I bought 12 for my house garage. Unbelievable difference from old T-12 and T-8 lights. I bought a total of 14 more for BIG detached garage. I've installed 4 and the difference is literally night and day. It's unbelievable the light that these throw. You can daisy chain up to 4 together. No flashing T-12 or T-8 bulbs at 50 degrees. It's only been a couple of months since the first order but I'm very happy.

Turned My Garage Into A Show Place.

For the money you cannot beat these LED lights. I bought them to replace my T-8 lights in my garage. Lights were not damaged when I received them. Would recommend a thicker cardboard on the outside packaging. Upon installing I could not believe the difference it made in my 940 sq ft garage. They turned my garage into a show place. I have older cars and they made them look like new. They glow! These lights are easy on the eyes and what a difference over the T-8 lighting. I would highly recommend these lights to anyone who whats to transform there garage into something special. Neighbors could not believe the difference. I installed them to the ceiling to give them a more finished look rather than use the hanging method. The package of 10 covered the 940 sq ft perfectly. All I can say is you can't go wrong with these lights. For the amount of light they give out you won't find a better price as compared to other home improvement stores.

Great Product!

Great product at a great price. fast shipping and arrived well packaged. I used them in my very dark pole barn. 9 lights used for my 30'x40' pole barn. Probably could have got away with 6 lights though. Design is simple and easy to link together and mount. I just bought another pack of 10 for another one of my barns. Will likely put them on our entire farm soon. -Justin

Good Lights for the Price

These lights were as described and as I expected for home use LEDs. I had previously purchased some LED lights for a shop that did not have covers over the LED bulb strips - those can be blinding when you catch direct site of them. When I saw these lights included the translucent tubes covering the LED bulb strips I bought a set of 10 for my home shop in a barn. Nothing fancy, they just do as expected at a price point below what others were. Time will tell on longevity, but worth a shot to me since I was previously buying low end lights (i.e. non-commercial) anyway as they won't be used all day every day like the better ones where I am working. Still, they appear similar and so far have functioned as well as the ones at work so I'm happy. I particularly appreciate the ability to connect one light to another with the cord as it reduces electrical wiring each separately and is a time saver on installation. I liked the first batch so much, I ordered second set of 10 and will now have full coverage throughout the barn and for the first time, with lots of light which dramatically improves the working conditions. As others have noted, the packaging wasn't much as they just put 10 lights in a big box with a piece of foam at each end. Both boxes were damaged in shipping, but the lights all worked. Guess there is some risk that rough shipping might shorten the life but I won't know for sure for years. In any case, it didn't concern me enough to prevent me from buying that second batch of 10 and as of now they are performing as I expected and I'm enjoying all the extra light.

High quality and a great price !

The lights arrived early and the box was in good shape....I installed the first one yesterday and WOW it is a bright daylight light.....I like that they are linkable so I can install a second one very easy if I need extra light.....Looks like great quality and very easy to install... I'll probably buy more in the future......
