NOTE: NEVER EVER USE AROUND ANYTHING ALIVE THAT YOU DONT WANT TO HARM OR KILL. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST AND LEARN HOW TO SAFELY USE AN OZONATOR BEFORE OPERATING. Whew, okay. I had to say that first because I dont see it being stated clearly enough or often enough in product listings, online videos, reviews, etc. Now for my review: Yes, it's an awesome machine that works wonders and is safe when used properly. I knew car detailers use ozonators but I knew nothing about how it works. Since all that info is online, I won't re-state the science and how-tos. I researched about possibly using one in a home I bought that had strong cigarette smoke smell and there're tons of online articles and videos about how effective these machines are and how to set it up. I took a chance on this particular machine and it paid off - it did an excellent job of eliminating that stale cigarette smoke stink. I used an outlet timer, set it for 6 hours, set the ozone generator to ongoing, made sure I had what I needed to take with me already to go and put outside front door, then turned on the timer and went directly out that door. Several, approx 8-10 treatments eradicated the bad smells. This is a small machine so I methodically did different rooms and areas individually by closing off doors. I was so impressed with the results that I've used the same methods with this generator in my own home, cars and motorhome to effectively remove any unpleasant odors from cooking, pets, teenagers, camping, etc. The ozone smells like bleach but after treatment and airing out some, it fades to just a fresh, clean smell and then to no smell. Some complain about it but I happen to like the smell which doesn't last but maybe a day or so depending on how much you air it out. The more concentrated the treatment is, by limiting the treatment area, and the longer it runs, the stronger the initial bleach smell will be. This machine has has a durable metal housing, is light weight and portable, and it's been durable. Again, I didn't much know anything about these generators but I can now say this one is a true bargain. It's taken a beating in the short time I've had it and if it crapped out tomorrow, I would still have gotten my money's worth many times over. I want to buy a second one so I can do larger open areas

The concept of an Ozone Generator can be misleading if you do not read into it properly. When used correctly, this is an amazing product which can help restore healthy air into your household or whichever closed space you choose to use it in. It is very easy to use with the timing dial, just plug it in and turn it on and vacate the room. The carry handle is a nice feature also. If you are looking into getting one of these please be sure to use proper precautions.

Purchased this to run in the basement to get rid of the basement smell. Well, it does work. It creates ozone and it's obvious that it does that as soon as you turn it on. You immediately get hit with the ozone smell. It has a timer on it so it'll run for a specified amount of time then turn off and it can also be set to run continuously. In a few days it can get rid of that basement smell that a lot of people know, however it's not a permanent solution, at least not in my case. You have to run it periodically to keep things smelling fresh. Construction, quality, and everything seems to be good.

I was skeptical for how well one of these would work. I moved into a townhouse that the previous tenants had smoked in. When I went to view it, they were painting and doing repairs, which masked the smell. I thought I was out of luck and was stuck for the remainder of my lease with my place absolutely reeking. I tried a few things like wiping surfaces with vinegar and putting baking soda on the carpet (these did help) but the smell was still pretty potent. When I ran the air conditioning, it smelled even worse because the ducts were just filled. I googled ways to get rid of smoke smells and came across ozone generators. There were mixed reviews and a lot of people saying they don't work. I am very glad I took the chance and bought this product. I immediately started noticing a difference. I would close up all the windows, turn on the fan for the furnace/AC, and run this thing next to it. I did this for about a month everyday that I went to work. I began rotating it into different rooms when I left during the day. The improvement was incremental but noticeable. After a few weeks, the smoke smell had largely disappeared. My townhouse is around 1200 sq ft and the 5000mg unit was adequate for me. They aren't kidding when they say remove all living matter. I accidentally forgot a succulent in my kitchen one day and it died immediately. Don't run it when you're home and let your apartment air out before you go inside. It leaves a residual smell that I can best describe as similar to bleach. You really should open your windows after you've used it and the ozone smell will be gone in a couple hours.

My husband and I purchased a car that was owned by a chain smoker. The car was a great value, so we bought it thinking that it wouldn't be so hard to get the smell out. What we discovered was that the smell was so much more potent than we'd thought possible. We couldn't get in and out of the car without our clothes and hair smelling of smoke. The smell would give us a headache when we tried to drive the car. We parked it in the attached garage one night and when we got up the next morning, the entire house smelled of cigarette smoke. I shampooed the carpet, tried cleaning the headliner and did a thorough cleaning of the car. We set off the scented car foggers and also used the air neutralizer that you spray into the vent intake under the hood of the car. Nothing seemed to take the smell away. My husband suggested trying an ozone generator. Pep Boys does this for $60 for 3 hours and though I considered going there, I knew we would probably need more than 3 hours. We bought this machine. It did take several 2 hour cycles to get the smell out, but each time, it was noticeably better and better. After a week of doing it every day, the car now has a clean smell, not a smoke smell. We are finally able to enjoy the car we bought. I would recommend this product to anyone. I have used it for odors much less offensive and strong and 1 cycle will typically clean the air. So happy that we bought this item.

I bought this for my parents because they are big smokers....When i go back home I hate to smell the smoke! This product helped me out alot and my parents love it! It cleans the air in a very short time! It is very easy to use! I give this product a 5 star because it did what i wanted it to do with a very good price!

For under $70 there was no way this would work. We have been battling cigar smell in our office forever. Apparently someone felt it acceptable to smoke a handful of cigars a day in the office (that would be me). Different hepa filters etc and nothing works. Even opening the windows and doors during that awesome cigar smoking event didn't help. When the people came in to work in the morning, they were greeted with an overwhelming odor of cigars. We plugged this little guy in and set if for 2 hours and left. The next morning we were welcomed to the office with a slight haze in the air and completely clean smelling offices. Opened the doors for a few minutes and the haze was done. Figured it made sense to try the car. Ran an extension cord out to the car and run this for an hour with the car closed up. We were laughing as we saw the inside of the car completely fogged up. Opened the doors when done and the car smells like brand new. Not a hint that anyone smokes cigars in there all the time. 2 days later there is a faint smell so we will hit it again. Seriously, do not run this thing with people or living stuff around. It even killed some roaches we didn't know we had. We have a new procedure - last one out turns this guy on and leaves. The office smells perfectly clean every morning. Flat out amazing. Now we have our cigar friends popping in the office during the day to plug it in their car to give it a cleanse before their wives find out someone has been smoking cigars in the car. Seriously if you need to kill that cigar smell, pick one up.

This is a very special product, I am using it to get rid of the musty smell in my record collection. The ozone generator can create a very dangerous situation unless you are very careful on how you utilize it. NO person should be in the area where unit is running. I use it with my records spread out in a closed off room for short periods of time. Then I air the room out opening the balcony door. The damage it can do to your lungs is something a person must be aware of. Now the good news, the albums hardly have any odor after 2 twenty minute sessions a day apart. So I must say my experiment is successful. As long as I respect the fact that the ozone is dangerous all is good. Yes I would recommend it, but only for people who have completely researched the product and it’s capabilities.

I was overrun by spiders in my Garage. after using this in my two car Garage for 24 hrs. all the spiders are dead and the smalls are gone. It works in the attic too. PLEASE MAKE SURE NO ONE WILL BE IN THE HOUSE, AN AIR THE HOUSE OUT AFTER. When it is being used you may see a fog in the room that is fine.

Worth every dime. I purchased a few ozone generators over the years. From the $30 plug in for my home, too ones costing up to $1000 for work. For $65, this one gives you the most bang for your buck. Simple, basic and smartly built. Well done guys!
