It does what it is supposed to!

Received this yesterday. I can say it works, easy to operate. I was happy to back up a tape my mother made for her dying brother. As my mother passed away a few years after he did. I was worried her bible teachings would all be lost. If anything changes within the next few uses I will update my review.

Great value and easy!

Just as described! I used this to convert old tapes for my mom. The BEST feature is the auto separate between tracks. I don't have to edit the recording, just burn to CD. Super easy and I can do while working on other things. When the tape stops, flip and continue.

Does exactly what I wanted, simple and easy.

I felt like I went out on a limb buying this after reading the mixed reviews but I'm glad I did. I wanted to transfer recordings of my Father's and Grandfather's (as well as others) preaching from cassette to MP3. I read the instructions and followed them exactly and it worked perfectly. Some of the snags that may have caused others an issue. Recording volume is adjustable so you may have to test it a couple times till you find a good level for the cassette you are recording (mine worked by listening to it at a loud but comfortable level and leaving it there for recording). There is a power selection switch, I kept it simple here after hearing about batteries running down and just used USB power with the switch in the proper position. I imagine that if you didn't have adequate USB power source (using a very old USB charger) this could cause an issue as well. I used the powered USB on my computer and it worked just fine. Quality of recording I though was excellent but again, I was only recording spoken voice, and that from some old old tapes, not music. Overall I am VERY please with this little recorder!!

Highly recommended. The USB cable for power enables you to connect the flash drive for saving files. Not a high-speed conversión solution. But effective.

Awesome!

Great product! I bought it after my friend made me some mixtapes and it works wonderfully. I hooked up an aux cable to my car stereo and attached this player and now I use it to listen to cassettes in the car. I also used it to transfer some mixtapes to a flash drive and its autodetect feature is awesome and separated the songs on the tapes perfectly. I am really pleased with this purchase and use it all the time.

This is a great little cassette player/recorder

This is a great little cassette player/recorder. I love the set up with USB transfer as I am not a techie and this works for me. I had a bunch of old cassettes and was worried about when they break how to replace them, now I can just transfer to USB and download or listen via that method. My Chromebook does not have a cd slot so can't convert to CD. LOVE it.
