Great calculator for student use!

I bought these calculators for students to use in my classroom. I love the fact that they are stable on the desk, tilted to reduce glare, solar-powered, and have big buttons. I also really like the replay button where you can see what you typed in. That's a neat feature. The only drawback is that it doesn't automatically do order of operations. You need to be strategic about how you type in numbers. Because there are no parentheses, you may have to do multiple steps. I didn't even put any batteries in and they work just fine with my fluorescent lights.

Excellent Calculator, Excellent Customer Service.

This is an excellent product for a great price. Works very well. 12 Digits, a correct key to backspace and remove errors, large keys, a tilted face for comfortable viewing, and all the basic functions. Nothing extra you don't need for basic math functions. I would buy from this company again and recommend them highly. Very fast shipping, the item was packed very well in a strong protective cardboard box with the basic instructions for using memory, and an email address for communication if needed. The unit worked well but the battery cover was a little raised, so it did not sit flush against the back of the unit. It held the battery well so no real issue there. I'm not sure why this happened but this warped or incorrectly shaped plastic was a quality control issue for sure. Nothing I couldn't live with but it wasn't right I emailed the company and received a very prompt response from Michael. Michael immediately shipped out another unit and I received it within days. Excellent! That's customer service and I did not have to return the 1st unit. The new unit works very well and the battery cover fits very nicely as it should. A fantastic experience working with Michael and his company. If there's something else I want or need from this company, I will not hesitate in buying from them again.

Huge!

I wanted a big calculator and this more than fit the bill. It’s light, but much bigger than I imagined. It will be easier to use because of its size and harder to misplace. I love that you can review your entries as if it had a paper tape.

I work for a bank commercial lending training, learning and development department. The calculators I ordered and received are the perfect size to easily use for all of our financial training. Great value....big numbers a plus!

The only thing that throws me off on the white calculator is a button called check on the top left but I am sure it is just a matter of time before I get use to it. Love the big buttons and big numbers. I bought 2 (2) packs so now all the desks in the office have them. We did put batteries in them because if the light in the the office is a little dim, the numbers are not as bright. Great value, so far work well.

Calculating With Quality And Dependability

I was an accountant and budget analyst for 40 years so numbers are a part of my DNA. Even in retirement, I'm constantly monitoring my bank accounts on a daily basis and I have to have a hand held calculator that I know is consistently dependable. The "Splaks" calculators are exactly that, dependable. They perform multiple functions perfectly and they have a great "number display" that's very easy to read. I highly recommend these calculators for all of your accounting needs.

Battery + solar and easy read screen

I needed to replace a simple desktop calculator that would work without having to be under the desk lamp and this is fine. Takes one AA battery. Clear digital readout and goes up to 12 digit screen. This also has a button new to me: it allows you to remove the last digit, say if you mistakenly hit the last number twice or if the calculation gives you too much detail. So if the calculation reads 2345.678, you can hit this arrow button and it will read 2345.67.

Well built and good price

I needed a few calculators to figure out my lawn herbicide, fertilizer and the like. One in the garage, house and truck at an affordable price. I like the fact it's solar and can run on one AAA if needed. It's rugged too and took the plastic baggie and taped it up to make one of them impervious to dirt and liquids I'll be using it around. Neat setup I have now no need to use the PC for a calculator.....might get one or two at this price.

Great calculator

Nice big and soft buttons. Easy to read display. This is a good calculator. It's about 6 inches long and 5 inches wide. Display is about 1 inch. It uses solar and battery. Unfortunately, my first unit came smashed. For some reason, Amazon did not protect the device well and it can be easily damaged during transport. The calculator box also lacks protection. I had no problems returning it. I eventually received a working calculator.
