It’s delicious and affordable

Dont let 1 star cry babies stray you away, this tastes awesome. You gotta remember it’s still a protein bar, I’d actually be questioning it if it tasted like a pure candy bar. But honestly, here’s the best I can describe it. First off you know those white and pink dinosaur cookies with sprinkles you’d get as a kid? It looks like a white snickers version of that. It’s really just a semi sweet semi chalky snickers without caramel but with crunch pieces, and flavored like birthday cake and looks like the nostalgic cookie. Don’t eat it all so fast or it will be a pain to chew and ends up being gross, but eat it like a normal person and it’s amazing.

Best flavor of all

Best pure protein bar flavor hands down. Feels like a treat every time...especially with real sprinkles. Great for macro numbers too.

Bought for the price and LOVED them!

While looking at other protein bars, these caught my eye because of the lower price. Although they do have more carbs than the bars I usually purchase, I gave them a try. They tasted great! (probably those extra carbs! ) I ate one for breakfast and was completely satisfied until lunch. Love them!

Been eating Pure Protein bars for about a decade, this is my second favorite flavor

I've tried many protein bars and come to the conclusion that more than most things, our taste buds are just very particular for each of us. Some people think the Pure Protein bars are the worst ever and think the QuestBar bars are the best ever, others the reverse. I absolutely love the Pure Protein bars especially the chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, and the peanut butter caramel. Of all the flavors I've tried (and I've tried them all many, many times) my favorite is still the Peanut Butter Caramel but this newer Birthday Cake flavor has quickly become my second favorite. It feels lighter and chewier and softer for some reason.

Pretty good for the purpose, with a lot of protein!

I think I've standardized on this brand now. Not candy bar delicious or anything, but very high, concentrated protein. If you want a candy bar, get one. That much protein just is going to be rather thick! They're totally edible, pretty good, and have plenty of protein. Win. Only minor complaint I'd make is the wrapper is super crinkly, no way to open subtly, nor reach in a pocket where you have a bar subtly.

These bars are great as a snack or meal replacement

Ok, I am not a fan of protein bars as many taste terrible BUT NOT this one. This one is delicious. It is sweet but not overly sweet. It has a good consistency and is not a long chewing food so you can eat it. It tastes good, has a good texture and consistency. I can take these anywhere to keep as a snack and it not only is healthy, it is a sweet treat as well. I have only tried this flavor but I am going to try other flavors. I really enjoy eating these bars, something I never said before about protein bars.

Absolutely the best

So going on 5 weeks now of going from eating whatever I wanted to trying to change my life for the better, these are amazing. With only being able to have 1830 calories a day now vs before these fit in perfectly for a drive home from work snack or Saturday morning breakfast. Even bought a box for my Sis. In 5 weeks 20 Lbs down, 100 to go :D

This was the first time I had seen the birthday cake flavor and was curious as there are a couple other flavors in this brand that I do not like. These are THE BOMB

I eat these bars for breakfast driving my 50 minute commute to work every morning. This was the first time I had seen the birthday cake flavor and was curious as there are a couple other flavors in this brand that I do not like. These are THE BOMB!!! I absolutely love them and will definitely be ordering more, very soon. I hate that they do not come in 12 pack boxes.

Great birthday cake flavor!

These really do taste like birthday flavored protein bars, and I love them! There are even sprinkles all around the vanilla coating, which makes them that much more enjoyable. I like protein bars in general, and like Pure Protein bars, so I can't vouch for everyone on the flavoring, but I like it and was surprised by how many negative reviews there were.

Ordering Again

Based on the mixed reviews, I was hesitant about buying these, but said screw it, because I like "birthday cake" flavored things. I don't know if I just got a good batch, or if they changed the recipe, but out of the several brands that I've tried, this is the first decent protein bar that I've had. Thickly coated, soft and chewy, and actually tastes good! I will definitely order more of these, in hopes that the rest will be the same.
