I looked at a ton of different hammocks, but finally decided on this one for my fiancé and I because of the higher weight limited. I'm about 140 lbs and he's somewhere around 230 lb. We sat in this, with our 60 lb dog, without any sort of problem. It is a bit difficult to lay facing the same direction, because the sides close over you. If you face opposite directions though, it didn't feel so tight. Although, my fiancé has a pretty large frame, so it may work better for two smaller people. We found, for us, it was the most comfortable to use it as a swing - to sit with our backs on one side and our feet dangling out of the other. We will definitely take it on all of our camping trips. For the price, I'm incredibly impressed.

These hammocks are great. They are just like ENO's but have an affordable price. What sold me on this product was the inclusion of the tree straps. And they did not disappoint. My 9 year old son is able to hang his hammock himself and it hold he and I comforably (turned sideways). So far he has tried it out on the railing of the porch and between two trees. Both worked great.

I bought my first honest outfitter double hammock two years ago while preparing for a cross country solo motorcycle trip. I had never had a hammock before, and this one popped up for just $29 and I could get it delivered before I left. The hammock itself is superior quality, very secure stitching, and a nice strong roomy hammock. On my trip, I was gone for 45 days, camped almost exclusively and only set my tent up one time. I was hooked! I figured if a “cheap” $29 hammock was so wonderful, then one on the name brand ones would be better. I was wrong. I have paid big money for name brand hammocks, and the one that always gets taken is my honest outfitter. I have now purchased another one for my Jeep, and still have my original one that has been used through several long term trips. I’ve literally spent months in it, it’s been all over the country, packed on a vibrating Harley, with no signs of wear. I have not been careful with it, have washed it in the washing machine several times, and it still looks brand new. You won’t get a better hammock than this at any price. It’s the real deal, takes the abuse of daily hard travel, and performs, period.

This was my first experience with a hammock of this type (I'm used to the old rope-type hammocks). We bought two hammocks specifically for a camping trip a few weeks back, and this was great! It fit me fairly well (I'm 5'11) and it was comfortable enough to take a nap. I also felt secure enough in it when I hung it up over cliff-type area and I could hang out and relax in it without worrying about falling it and still enjoying the beautiful view! I'm not an expert on hammocks and don't know much about them, but as far as a hammock goes when it comes to relaxing and hanging out, this one was great. It also has fairly long straps, which made it easier to find a good set of trees! The photo shows the great view I experienced from my hammock =)

We needed more sleep space for our grandsons, so we bought three of these to put up in our guest room at the lake. They are far cheaper than bunk beds and MUCH cooler! We bought additional hardware to put in the studs to hang these. I am so happy with these, and the boys are ecstatic!

Always wanted a Eno hammock, and planned on buying one. Came onto amazon to do so, and found a plethora of competitors, boasting money back refunds and comparable high quality products. did a little digging and found overwhelmingly positive reviews for most products. I was going to buy one for 20something but felt somehow uneasy and decided I was more comfortable with this 30something dollar purchase, since I was going to be hanging in it suspended over the ground. The fact that the straps are included is HUGE. An Eno is around 70 I believe, and you gotta buy the straps for an extra 20, so you're looking at almost a hundred dollar hammock. a damn nice one indeed, but for 35 bucks, this is an exceptional product, and I quite honestly would be unable to tell the difference in a parachute hammock shoot-out between this and an Eno, and probably most of these other amazon hammocks. Overall, I love this thing and read in it almost every day. Super comfy, great quality, strong straps, really easy to use and hang up, and my favorite part is that it folds up incredibly easy into the attached pocket/pouch. Well done, Honest Outfitters. I appreciate the offer, but I will not be following up on that money-back guarantee.

I purchased this ha-mmock last week from Amazon, for a camping trip over the weekend of August 18-20 on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. My wife, my seven year old daughter, and I knew we would be doing some lounging at the campsite and we usually bring our more traditional style hammock, but wanted something a little more portable this time in case we wanted to hike closer to the lake and do some lounging there. My wife borrowed a single nylon hammock from a coworker (not sure of the brand, but I know it wasn't Honest Outfitters), and your double arrived the Thursday before we left, which meant no time for a test run; it would just have to be field tested. We arrived at the campsite and I first set up the other, single hammock. It was fairly simple, though the tree straps were nylon ropes, which tended to slip about a half inch each after my daughter got in, but then they remained tight. The straps included with your double hammock, however, were much more simple and easier to adjust, which made it a breeze to get all set up. Once hung, it was easy enough to get into and out of without fear of tipping (a problem we've run into with our more traditional hammock). It wasn't long before I had fallen asleep in your hammock with my daughter sharing the space, reading a book. When we did eventually go on our hike to the lake, we brought both hammocks. Again, the straps provided with the Honest Outfitters double hammock are very easy to adjust, meaning set up for that was quick. My wife and daughter were already enjoying swaying in the breeze while I was still trying to find the right adjustment for the other hammock. All in all, I would say that the hammocks themselves were very similar; equally comfortable and portable, but the advantage has to go to the Honest Outfitters hammock for the following reasons: 1. The tree straps. These go quickly around the tree and, with the multiple loops, make adjusting the hammock to the perfect height and tension between the two trees incredibly easy. And though I saw on Amazon that the single hammock does not come with the multi-looped strap, I have to imagine that even the single looped strap would be easier than the nylon rope that came with the other hammock. 2. Storage. Both hammocks fold into the pouches that hang on the side of the hammock, but only the Honest Outfitters bag has the adjustable clasp that makes the bag smaller. The other hammock (and others I have seen) usually just go into the bag which is then cinched, and many of them don't have room for the tree straps. 3. Price. I did some quick comparison shopping, and found the Honest Outfitters to have the best price to average rating ratio on Amazon, and after trying it out for three days of camping, moving it several times, I can say that I am completely satisfied with the product, and would recommend the brand to anyone who may ask for advice. I am planning on purchasing the single hammock or maybe even another double to add to our camping supplies. Thank you so much for putting what is clearly a lot of thought into the design of your hammock. You have made a family of three into three very happy campers!

Portability - I love that it folds into the bag and that the straps fit in as well. Great design with the straps to cinch Quality - The hammock feels like quality material and definitely matches that of my sister’s Eno for a much better price. Well-manufactured fabric and straps. The carabiners feel sturdy and I appreciate that they were designed them to avoid catching on things. One of my recent trips to the beach ended with gale force winds and the hammock handled them like a champ. It's great that they included straps with it - they are much nicer on the trees Comfort - lying in the hammock is incredibly comfortable. The only issue is if I’m by myself using the 2 person hammock. I end up cocooned in it. I’ve tried folding it in half the long way and then laying on it, which works pretty well. Overall - I love this hammock and will put it to good use. It's a great quality and affordable hammock!!

Hammocking has become all the rage in my part of the country, and while most of the people I know have bought the much more expensive name brand hammock, I was not up for spending $100 on something like this. After lounging in a friend's namebrand version of this product off and on for about a week, I decided to research other brands settling on Honest Outfitters. I have now spent about a week using this hammock and absolutely love it. I would be hard-pressed to find any difference between this and the MUCH more expensive name brand other than this hammock holds MORE weight. This product comes with the straps already included, and they are very long, allowing for more distance between trees. In addition, they are segmented, so one can adjust to the length between trees much easier. I bought the double even though I doubt I will have a second person join me in the hammock. I prefer the larger space and the ability to cover myself if I take a snooze. I can't wait to use this again when I have the opportunity or go camping. I would highly recommend this hammock. It is a quality product and an amazing value.

This was my first single hammock purchase and it was a great one! I'd recently gone camping and my two of my friends had brought their ENO hammocks and let me say, the Honest Outfitters hammock is just as good. It is very sturdy and the straps are fantastic. I'm 5,6' and 215 and I was pretty terrified to try this out. Now, I feel perfectly confident getting in and out thanks to the fantastic durability of this. This is hands down the best hammock at an incredibly low price. I couldn't find one cheaper even at Walmart. Great buy!
