• IT IS ONLY A TRANSMITTER. This package does not include a Receiver and 12V "A23" Battery remote control needs
  • Make sure your original remote the same as the Picture shows. This remote control is designed to separately control your ceiling fan speed . It has 3-speed(Low/Medium/High) to control fan.
  • Requires a 12V "A23" battery - but NOT INCLUDED
  • This is the remote control for the ceiling fan. They should match the switches on the transmitter inside the ceiling fan. As long as the fan has the receiver(must have same switches too) in it this remote will work with your Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans. Just remember to set the 4 dip switches inside the battery compartment(they are kinda hidden behind the slot for the battery itself
  • Compatible with FAN30R, FAN-30R receiver and have a learning button that allows it to match more receivers

When we bought our house, the remote for the master bedroom ceiling fan was missing. It went unused for close to a year before I thought to buy a replacement. This one worked right out of the box. (The dip switch settings happened to match the settings on my fan, so I didn't have to fool with them.) So happy!!!

Great replacement for the old remotes. The old ones had broken battery doors, and were slow to respond, even with new batteries. The new ones respond with the first press of a button. Very easy to set the tiny switches to match the old remotes, they worked instantly with no problems.

This was the perfect replacement for my fan controller. On one unlucky day my old controller perfectly fell into a cup of water. Thankfully I was able to find this and be able to control my light and fan again!

After reading the reviews, where users stated that no programming was needed, I decided to purchase this replacement remote. It works!! Just remember to reset the internal controls, the same as the one you are replacing. I made the mistake of missing this step. So for a few weeks, I thought that I would have to return this remote. So happy to now have a remote that now controls my fan and light fixture!😊

I can't believe I waited so long to purchase this remote. I figured it wouldn't work b/c I bought my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan in 2010. My original remote that came with the fan probably broke 3-4 yrs ago. My grandson wore it out! At that time HB was no longer carrying replacement remotes for my model. After years of missing my remote and being tired of getting up in the middle of the night to turn the fan on I decided to try your remote. She-Bang!!!!! I had my remote working in a matter of minutes!!! All you have to do is follow the directions. Put the battery in, program the numbers from your old remote in and turn it on!!!!! Thank You!

Instructions made it clear how to set the codes to match my existing receiver. I had no idea what kind of receiver I had, so first I tried the auto learn method included in the instructions. It did not work, so that means I have a switch receiver. To find the switch position on my fan, all I had to do was remove the decorative ceiling cover/housing and then thanks to the illustration I could identify the receiver sitting at the very top of the unit. Push the receiver back and forth (gently so you don't knock any wires loose) until you can see the code switches on the receiver. Match the switch pattern on the receiver to the remote and presto. Two more hints. 1) switch positions are only up or down, there is no middle. Make sure they are either all the way up or down. 2) each switch on both the receiver and the remote has a number. Use the numbers as the key to establish the matching pattern.

have a harbor breeze fan, dropped original remote and broke it. went to Lowes because harbor breeze is their signature brand, spoke to the lowes rep good luck ordering an original part for these fanes. Bought this instead, took it out of the box put batteries in and worked flawlessly, didn't even have to change the code

I have an older Harbor Breeze Avian style fan. This worked right our of the box! My remote looked almost identical to this one. I'll probably buy another one for safe keeping.

This remote works perfectly and was a welcomed alternative to having to buy a new in-wall receiver that had gone bad. I just took this remote and screwed the holder onto the wall to keep the remote in. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to relace thrir remote.

Awesome! Bought this to replace The Hampton Bay (2000 year) Fan and Lighting Company fan/light combo remote (CHQ8BT7030T). Had to flip the tiny white switches to match the old remote but BOOM it worked perfectly! 😀
