Allowed me to organize, even fit into my Craftsman tool box with sockets standing vertically - was not sure it was going to fit - allowed me to make use of more room

Most everything I own is Snap-On. These organizers impressed me even though I was skeptical. They'll hold the sockets in even upside-down. Great magnets. I'd absolutely purchase these again.

I needed to rethink my organizational system for my new toolbox. I wanted the ability to pull an entire set of sockets out of the main box and throw them into a service cart to wheel over to the job. This is the 21st century, so crappy old metal rails with spring clips weren't an option. The Hansen style trays are great if you're going to leave them mostly stationary, but they're a little flimsy to stand up to regular movement in and out of a box. Ernst twist-lock rails are pretty good, but the size markings are sorta small and can be hidden. Westling are pretty slick looking, but they really seem to be for users of the type who buy Snap On because they care more about having expensive tools than getting a bargain. For my specific needs and wants, these trays are absolutely perfect. The magnet, which both holds the tray to metal and holds the sockets in the tray, is very strong. (In fact it's so strong that I need to double up the drawer liner in my box in order to make them a little easier to remove.) It's easily strong enough to hold the tray on the side of a box and keep the sockets from falling out It'll even hold completely upside down as long as you aren't too violent with the shaking. The plastic feels like its probably a solid chunk, so it's going to be very durable. The markings are all clear and readable. They hold what is generally considered a full run of sizes, with both the 1/4" & 3/8" versions having room for standard and deep well. The 1/2" tray only holds one run, which is a bit of a downside to me. I understand that they do it to keep the size of the tray down, but I'd like to see them offer a 1/2" tray with holes for a full complement of regular & deep for those of us who have the room. I have read that there are some brands of sockets which won't fit into the holes, but my Craftsman & Pittsburgh sockets all fit fine. Just a little bit of play so they're easy to insert, but no so much as to make them rattely. Highly recommended.

been using the Lisle socket tray for about 15 years, they have been falling apart for a couple years now. one of their main faults is that every time you bump them sockets fall out these magnetic trays are of a very high quality made out of that somewhat waxy plastic that lasts for years and years. my first thought was the magnetic grip wouldn't be strong enough, actually it seems just about right. time will tell i don't have a lift, i work under cars on jack stands, these are nice. keep the sockets all together in order, even when bumped pretty hard or dropped from low levels been looking for a couple years, northern tool, napa, sears, box stores and online. took about a month to order these after i first noticed them. i think they are great. today i am ordering a set for 1/2 inch drive. they are worth having

Nice organizer. Size ranges from 4 to 14mm. Would be nice if it went up to 15mm.

Read many reviews for many products. Chose this one based on price and reviews. I can not add any more than what has already been said. I have this item on the wall of the bed of my truck. Nothing has fallen out..yet. I haven't hit any rough roads yet.

The magnet that holds the sockets in place is strong enough that sockets don't fall out if it's turned upside down, but not so strong that it's hard to get the sockets out. If you have a large tool set, using these will get pricey when you get enough of them to hold all your sockets: you need one each for 3/8 drive SAE and Metric, 1/2 drive SAE and metric, 1/4 drive SAE and metric for a total of eight at $23.49 a piece - about $188 plus tax -OUCH!

The organizers (SAE and Metric) are absolutely first class...beautifully molded, nicely finished. The magnets are strong enough to hold the sockets securely in the organizer...and...hold the organizer securely to the "floor" of the tool cart I keep them in. Nicely packed and shipped quick. First class in every way. Joe Schulte

I ordered 1 metric and 1 standard for my shallow 1/2 6point sockets after looking for the right socket organizer. I’m happy with these. The socket size is bright and readable. My sockets fit perfectly, not too snug. I liked them so much I bought a second sae one for my deep well sockets. The height on those is perfect for my box too. The magnet feels secure and holds the socket in without having to fight it to get it out.

Holes are oversized to accept all manner of sockets. But I did have an old SK Socket that did not fit. Magnet holds the sockets in the holder well. Magnet underneath holds the unit through the drawer liner in my Husky box really well. I like that the numbers/sizes are large and legible. Atd pricey but I like these better than the rail style.
