Affordable alternative

I would have loved to have bought my nephews (nephews by friendship not blood) the full Hogwarts set but it is hundreds of dollars and I couldn't afford it. This set is a nice compromise for much less money and it comes with a car (of a similar size to match other lego cars I bought them), and a spooky tree (to match their other HP sets). Good buy, from my perspective, they really seem to like it and it's kept them occupied for quite some time.

As always Lego delivers

My son just watch all the movies in the summer and he is now a fan of harry potter series. So when i bought this for his birthday, he build it in just one day. He is happy. Everything came great and in mint condition.

My 8 year old loved it!

My 8 year old son built this in less than a day. He has it on display in his bedroom now. Cool set!

Riddikulus-ly Fun Set! (see what I did there?)

My 9-year-old, who refers to himself as a "master builder", put this together in about an hour. He graciously let me help and I, a self-proclaimed lego "novice", had no trouble putting together the car, albeit at a slightly slower pace. Aside from looking awesome, you can rearrange the castle 'rooms' to create different play sets. I was pleasantly surprised to see my son and daughter playing creatively with it long after it was built. There are lots of fun little details, potions, spell books, license plates on the car, wands, etc. that any Harry Potter fan will love!

Another Lego Success! Parents, fear not!

So I'm a veteran Lego builder by this point in my childs life. I've tackled and successfully built many of these things much to the enjoyment of our child. He's almost 5 and has no interest in the Duplo series so I build these and he helps where he can. This is the 4th set I've built from this run of Lego Harry Potter sets with Hogwarts being one of the largest ones. I reviewed that one very positively and this is more of the same. The directions are very common sense and broken down into bite size portions where I feel like I'm actually making progress fairly quickly. Lego have really stepped up in this area after having some questionable issues with the Lego Batman series (especially the Batmobile which was terribly designed and explained in the instructions) I assembled this one with little issue in just a few hours. Lego does a great job of making you feel like a winner value wise. The Hogwarts I felt like I got more than I paid for and the same for this set as well. Very enjoyable and really cool to see and display with the other sets!

Very fun Lego set

My 6 1/2 year old put most of this together on his own Christmas Day (he insisted) and now he's hooked. He plays with it most days and keeps asking for more HP sets. The quality is great of course, but it's the details on the structure and characters that make this set really special. My son wasn't a Harry Potter fan before but now he wants to read all the books and see the movies. This set really captured his imagination. It's also the longest he's ever kept one put together, three weeks and counting....

Great Harry Potter LEGO set!

We spent hours of fun to work together with our grandkids, 5 and 8 years old, of this Harry Potter set, we are planning to buy more Harry Potter LEGO sets. They are so nicely designed and including very easy to follow step by step instructions. After we finished we put them their bookshelf to display, they look very impressively beautiful! Highly recommend for Harry Potter LEGO fan and LEGO lovers!

Great set

Great add on for the amazing great hall set. Too bad on the minifigures although, Hermione is one of three in this wave and Sheamus is just a plain default face. Hoping for some more ravenclaws and hufflepuffs in the future.

Potter head

Beautiful set and adds perfectly with the big castle. My ten year old loved building this. Quality work and detail for the potter heads out there.

Harry Potter & LEGO = pure joy

Best gift of the season. LEGO and Harry Potter are a match made in heaven. My 9 year old grandson grabbed this gift very first to play with Christmas morning. He loved every detail and talked about it the whole time he was building it. This is exactly as the story is depicted in the books. Lots of books and crannys with tiny details that make it so magical!
