Have an Ashley Leather reclining couch and after 11 years the recliner pulls broke, one inside clip and the other handle plastic. Bought these and in about 12 minutes had them both replaced! Fit perfectly, I found a video online that was helpful showing someone replacing them, seeing that made the job easy. There are no directions so the video was great.

This product is a must have when it breaks Very important to know is the installation procedures Turning the chair or sofa upside down and release the metal lever to extend the foot rest Next unscrewing the handle from the side of the chair( two phillips head scews) Notice exactly which hole the cable connects to Then pinch the bracket where the cable is mounted and remove the cable Replace with the new one in reverse of these directions And viola your back in business-:)

Worked like a charm. Direct fit and easy to install.

This was a perfect fit for my couch not hard to install as long as you can flip you couch upside down. just two screws and it fit perfect. originally bought my couch with broken levers. instantly upped the value. Don't understand why it didn't work for some people. I would highly recommend this.

Perfect replacement for my Ashly furniture recliner couch, I actually think this one is made better then the factory one.

Speedy delivery: arrived day before schedule. Quality product. I recently broke the release lever on my 5 year old reclining sofa. I approached Raymour and Flannigan for service repair. I was past warrant, so called for a price quote of the repair only to learn that the furniture company didn't have the parts. I saw this company on Amazon and decided to try buy the part. My husband installed the lever within an hour. I am so happy to recline again.

*Update- comments regarding tools are strange. I used a simple phillips head screwdriver to remove the old and attach the new part to the sides of the rcliners and a pair of wire cutters to squeeze the tabs inside the bottom of the recliner to remove the old one. I needed no other tools and it works beautifully! *This was extremely easy to replace. So much so that I ordered one to test and then ordered the second one! It was difficult finding instructions and took a bit for my common sense to kick start due to fear of crushing my hand in the recliner. Once I figured out what I was doing it was very simple. I would encourage to add either a link to a YouTube video for this specific type or even simple instructions of how to get the recliner open. Others may be worried at first as I was that I would get my hand caught during the release. (which was not likely to happen now that I know). Still give it 5 stars! Took less than 10 minutes to replace.

this fixed my recliner and so thankful i was able to get a replacement part without going to the maker.

Our recliner broke on our sofa. The manufacturer said the part would cost $40.00. We got this one for less than $10. It was easy to install! Works perfectly! We ordered an extra one just in case the other side breaks!

Handle broke on my wife's recliner. Googled "recliner parts" and this is the first thing that came up - apparently not an uncommon problem. Arrived on time. Turned recliner over, pulled a couple staples holding material on the bottom to expose the cable connection. Took 2 screws out of the old one and unhooked at the cable end. Replaced the handle with same two screws, attached the cable end, snapped in the holding clip, replaced and stapled the material back and turned the recliner back upright. Total time less than 10 minutes. Works perfectly.
