I value my privacy and if you do too you should definitely consider buying this screen cover. I recommend this as a protector because of all of the options available make it hard to not find the right fit. I bought one for my self and my girlfriend because she does some graphic designs and she does not want even me seeing the work before it's done!

MUCH better than others

I used a different screen protector (from 3M maybe) that has lines that constantly bothered me, so I'd always throw it to the side when I could and consequently scratched it a lot. It also was very loose, about a centimeter smaller than my screen even though it was advertised as the same size as the one I ordered here. This one is a ton better. It's size is exactly flush with my screen so there are no weird gaps, and instead of lines to squint through, there are small grains that are MUCH easier to see through. I don't notice as much that it's even on my computer until I move my head to the side and the edges start to gray out. This is much better for my eyes. Highly recommend.

Fits any screen size

I have three computer, two of them laptops. One laptop is from work and one is for my personal use. I installed the screen cover on my work laptop at first, perfect fit by the way, and then went on to install on the other two computer screens. Privacy is something I value and this screen protector is more than worth the value. I had no problem fitting the protector onto any of my computers. Really simple, really easy to use

Works great, two installation options.

Works great! This is the 4th different privacy screen I've used over the years. This is the best one by far. This one fits perfectly, so it doesn't feel like it's there. When looking straight on, there is no darkness and you don't feel like the screen is there. At an angle, the screen is obscured. Finally a privacy screen that works perfectly. It also has two installation options. "rails" for sliding it in and out, and afixed to screen so it's a nice, clean install, but not easily removable. You choice.

If you live a confidential life like me, you want to block out the eyes of strangers. Completely cut off their ability to perceive the things that might be on your screen. Nothing personal. Just business. This rectangular shaped piece of thin plastic that we pay more than 1 dollar for is capable of doing things that perhaps is worth more than 1 dollar: preventing people from seeing the furry po-- uh. From seeing the fantastic things that you just don't want others to know. Enjoy this sheet of plastic, as it grants you protection from your coworkers while you procrastinate your work like I am doing at this very moment.

Awesome protector

Awesome product for a teacher to keep nosey students from seeing grades as well as keeping the screen from causing migraines.

If you use this in a well lighted area or room it does an amazing job.

This filter is really good. If your in a well lighted area or room it does a really good job, but if your in a darker room or area and your devise is tilted to the side, if you look close at the screen you can barley make out what is on the screen, so I'd recommend 2 instead of just one if you want it pitch black even when it's in the light or not, cause that's what I did, I put 2 filters on mine. Now even in a dark room or area and with the laptop tilted you can't see anything.

Works Best on a Recessed Screen

This is actually the best privacy filter I've ever purchased. It matches my screen size exactly and rests inside the bezel against my laptop's screen without any need to adhere it there. That being said, if you have a laptop with glass over the screen (anything with a touchscreen) you will have to use the included adhesion strips which means they will be between your screen and the filter. The brightness is much better than the previous screen I had, and the privacy this provides is also greater than the previous filter I had. On my old filter I had to turn the brightness down in order for my screen to not be visible from the sides, with this screen I do not need to do that, even with the brightness all the way up, nothing is visible from the sides and this screen works flawlessly.

Buy this one, instead

I bought this after wasting money on another screen filter from a different manufacturer, that required applying the thin film directly to the screen, resulting in a screen full of bubbles and scraped up film. No bubbles with this screen filter! And, the manufacturer gives you two methods and two packets of application materials, in case you don't get it quite right the first time. The screen is not any flimsy sticky film, but, is rigid, of good quality. It includes a tab at the top for easy removal and re-installation. I noticed that these are the kinds of screen filters used in a healthcare facility to ensure privacy of information...and, now I see why. I am content with this purchase, the quality and ease of installation/ use. I recommend it!
