Great train to watch

I had a Big Loader as a child, and this is the same thing except it is rebranded as Thomas the Train. My kids (2 and 4) love it. It is meant to be set up one way and watched. It is not made for rearranging the track or being creative with it. Although it only does the one round over and over, it is mesmerizing to watch. I even enjoy it with the kids. Needs an adult to set up, or an older child. My kids cannot set it up and start it on their own, but once I set it up, it’s hands off and they will sit and watch it for a while.

The kids love playing and role-playing with this train. Great construction and sturdy plastic. I would get again for sure. Really helps play time also be a time to learn (cause and effect).

Thomas toy

Actually I did not want to put any stars, but that is not an option. The toy has not been opened yet. It is for my grandson and my son and his wife want to give him only so many toys over so much time. When they do open it, if I am asked, I will update the review.

Great toy

I had this exact set in the old style waay back in 1981 and loved it... And I have just bought this for my new born son as well as another for my 3 year old nephew. Something about this toy a kid can just sit and watch it forever. My 3 year old nephew loves helping put the track together and keep it going correctly. Would recommend this toy to anyone with kids.

Perfect for Thomas lovers

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson who loves everything Thomas....and he was thrilled! Once he removed the wrapping paper, he didn’t want to look at anything else....spent the rest of the day playing with it 😀😀

TOMY Made

I purchased this toy because I have been looking for a replacement toy for my grandchildren. My father had an original TOMY Big Loader set that my children loved! Now, my daughter wanted to share the old TOMY Big Loader set with her children. Unfortunately, the old chassis with very old tires did not do the job. But with this set which is not a knock off is the one you need to buy! Now if we can get TOMY to make some replacement tires and a T Track switch again we will be able to connect both tracks together and have a Big Big Tomy set!
