Perfect, just what the doctor ordered.

The perfect wire gauge that is hard to find and easy to install due to its relatively flat profile. I had initially used some thinner gauge wire that would not provide enough voltage for the passport to work. Go figure.

Bought 2 of these to hardwire my V1 to my car's. Wanted to hardwire for years but didn't want to tap into my reading lights. Found this kit and it was just what I was looking for. It comes with no directions though. If you tap into an existing fuse, usually the acc, just know you have to pull the fuse and install it into the fuse tap along with the fuse that given with the hardwire kit. If you use an empty fuse slot in the car then you only have to install the included fuse into the tap.

Works like a charm

This kit provide a lot of setup options with different fuse sizes allowing for easy setup and removal, if needed, since you don't have to hardwire it. It works great and the price was right.

Easy to setup

I bought the mirror tap but unfortunately all the power coming from the cables are 5volt so that wasn't enough to power my radar but using this hardwire kit did the trick and it's very easy to setup

Exactly what the Uniden R3 needs.

Exactly what I needed to hard wire my Uniden R3 to my car. Might not be easy to install for most unless you have some automotive electrical experience or knowledge but the product works as described and fittings where good quality.

Perfect kit for Escort system

Kit did exactly what I wanted it to do. You can conceal the wiring behind trim pieces and it makes for a very clean setup. Also allows for relocation at the top of the windshield which I believe allows for better signal recognition and makes it harder for officer friendly to notice. Haven't had any issues and highly recommend.
