Finds leaks fast that soapy water does not
The Techamor Gas-321 Detector works really good. I bought it to verify that my RV propane detector was working correctly and found out that the propane detector in my RV was defective. After replacing the RV propane detector I decided to check the rest of the propane system in the RV. I’ve previously checked for leaks with soapy water and verified there were no leaks but when I used the Techamor Gas-321 Detector it started screaming when I got to one area. I’m so glad I purchased this product.

Safety First!
This gas detector was very simple to use. First of all install batteries as this does not come with batteries. It is shaped so it is easy to hold but also you can put it in place and put the nozzle where you need to detect the gas. It does not take long when you are testing it to detect gas as the alarm goes off. The instructions were not that easy as I didn't know the type of gas we were trying to detect so I had to make a call. Knowing the type of gas helps a lot. Once you have that figured out then the instructions make more sense.

Great!!
Received the detector and started testing my natural gas connections. I had replaced our gas range and my wife could smell gas but I could not as my sense of smell is not the greatest. After adjusting the Yeezou tester it located a very small leak in the flex line. I replaced it with a new one and now no gas smell and a Happy Wife. Great product and well made and easy to use. I have checked all my gas connection now and have a sense of safty now.

Possibly Saved our Lives
We had our stove top and oven replaced. The gas line had to be reconfigured so the shut off valve was behind the oven. I thought I could smell a slight gas smell so we bought the gas detector and it’s sensor sounded the alarm. We also called out the gas company to confirm. They said if we hadn’t detected it eventually the gas being trapped behind the stove would have blown up with oven. We had the tech fix the leak. Now we use the detector to check everything. We love it. It’s easy to use and VERY inexpensive.

It detected gas leaks all over ! Lifesaver!
The gas company couldn't even find the gas leaks, which might have been them just not caring enough or trying hard to be honest. However, I knew there were still leaks in our house we JUST moved into. I am sensitive to the smell and while no one else could smell it, inititially, I knew they were there. I ordered this thinking it would at least verify I'm not crazy or just put me at peace. Sure enough this thing went off like a siren not only under our house but in our attic. There were four leaks and one behind the stove. I wasn't dreaming it all up after all. We were able to show the repairman and the gas company where all we found them. Now that they're all fixed up the house smells great and I'm at peace!

It works!
I bought this because I kept smelling gas coming out of my kitchen drawers next to my gas stove and near my gas dryer. No one else could smell it. This thing alerted to both places. The gas company came out and confirmed that there was a leak behind the drawers where the gas line goes into the wall. What's weird is the gas company's detector did not detect anything at first. We had to turn on the gas stove first to detect the leak. Also, their detector did not detect anything behind the dryer, so I just tightened the connection to the gas line myself. This gas detector appears to be very sensitive.

Very nice gas detetctor
This is a very effective gas detector. The probe is really useful when gas detection is need for tricky places. The LEDs helps to identify the gas concentration very easily . High sensitivity is important in gas detection . AAA batteries are convenient for this type of a gas detector.

Me: Do you smell that? It smells like gas. Husband: Nope, don’t smell it. Yeezou: [alarm trigger] Gas company: I don’t smell it, but my detector is picking it up Plumber: I sort of smell it We removed an old drop ceiling, and a day or so later I was working on the ceiling near a coupling in our gas line and I smelled gas. It was actually more of a very faint funky smell, not like the typical pungent rotten egg smell you normally think of. No one else could really smell it....except for (and you’re not going to believe this) ....my cat. I was up on the step ladder and my cat was FREAKING OUT when we initially took the ceiling down. This cat is usually pretty calm, but she jumped up on the ladder under the leak in the gas line twice after I pulled the tile down and she was very upset. At first my husband and I thought this “attention-seeking behavior” was cute, and we were calling her the building inspector until I picked up on that funky smell the next time we came back to work this on the ceiling. By the time I finally picked up the smell, I’d already forgotten about my crazy cat’s odd behavior. I asked my husband if he thought it was gas, or just a weird odor in the insulation. He smelled nothing. I purchased this yeezou detector and I’m so glad I did. There was a leak in the coupling. Bottom line, trust your pet, trust your nose and don’t mess with gas. If you think you smell gas, don’t do what I did and wait for this to ship (even if it is same day delivery by 9pm). Call your gas company and they will send a tech out. Since this IS a product review I must say this detector worked great, and I think anyone that has gas appliances should have this BEFORE you sorta, kinda, think you might, maybe, but can’t be quite sure that you smell a leak. If you’re on the fence about buying this ...don’t be. BUY IT! $30 is a small price to pay to help detect a leak before your house EXPLODES!
