Better than a Hydro Flask
I bought the black 32oz with the hot/cold lid. It looks sleek and fits in my cup holders, no problem. To test the water bottle, I filled it all the way with ice Wednesday night at 6pm. By the next morning, it had about a sip of water in it, which means the ice hardly melted. That day (Thursday), I filled it with water 1.5 times. Still had ice. Friday morning, it was still about 1/3 full of ice. I filled it up again. By midday Saturday, about 65 hours after I originally filled it with just ice, I still had about a golf-ball sized ice bunch left. The entire time I left the lid open (to allow for the straw), which I thought would make the ice melt faster. Amazing water bottle. Would recommend to anyone! I have not dropped it yet, so I cannot speak for its durability. Everything else so far is perfect

insulated very well
I really like the slender design as it fits into your hand well and doesn't feel top heavy like so many do in the 32 oz size. I took this on a drive to town in this Alabama Summer heat ,with the windows closed and left the car many times for many hours throughout the day. By days end a good 11 hours later the second photo shows about 1/3 of the ice remaining and my water was refrigerator cold all day . Our temps are currently in the high 90ties( feeling like 112 today's forcast ) so temps in the car get up to 130-172 within an hour - this cup is wonderful no doubt about it .

I did the ice test!! 5 Stars!
I did the ice test!! So I did my own (be it possibly a bit crude) ice test on this amazing tumbler and the results were fantastic! I had already done a test on my RTIC 30 oz tumbler against a friend's Yeti, so I knew my RTIC would be a great tester for this Simple Modern 30 oz tumbler (Ie, the test might as well have been against a Yeti). The photos are here and I hope they are legible but basically the test went like this, I filled both tumblers to the top with crushed ice and sat them out in full sun at 5:00 PM on a day that was 84 degrees. They sat overnight and the next morning at 11:00 AM it was 78 degrees outside and they were going strong. Both still had the same of ice left. At 1:00 PM, it was 85 degrees outside and the outside of both were warm (again it was full sunlight on a very hot day) but the inside were cold, still lots of ice. At 5:00 PM, exactly 24 hours later, it was 86 degrees outside and there was STILL a decent amount of ice left. At 9:00 PM that next night (28 hours after starting the test) STILL an even amount of ice in the tumblers. At 7:00 AM the next morning (38 hours after starting the test), it was 74 degrees outside and I could tell the ice had just finally given up, but I tested the temperature of the water and it was 35 degrees for the Simple Modern and 32 degrees for the RTIC. The difference was minimal enough in my opinion to call it a tie as I did not weigh the ice or anything before putting it in the cup so the difference easily could have been that one actually had a little more or less than the other. At the end of it, for a tumbler like this to be as good of quality as the Yeti Rambler for a fraction of the price is a WIN. The tumbler itself is gorgeous (if a tumbler can be gorgeous). It fits perfectly in my standard size cup holder in the car and sips easily. The only thing I wish it had (maybe a tweak on the next version) is a place big enough in the lid to hold a tumbler straw (they're a little larger than a standard size straw). It does fit a standard size straw but then it doesn't stick out the top much to drink comfortably. That's a small thing when compared to value here though and if you don't care about straws then it's a non issue. This tumbler is amazing and although I received it at small discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, my opinions are my own and I have given a true comparison of this tumbler against the RTIC (and essentially the Yeti Rambler). I hope this helps and if it does, click the yes button. :) UPDATE July 13, 2017 Someone just commented today that my tenure helped them make a decision so I thought I would post an update. It's been over a year since I've owned this tumbler. I use it nearly daily and it's as good today as it was when I bought it. I use it for my smoothies in the mornings and I just love it. I do not put it the dishwasher ever. Hand wash only and I recommend the same. Hope that helps!

Cruiser Over Slim Cruiser
Application: Diet Coke, the colder the better! Products Reviewed: Simple Modern Cruiser vs. Slim Cruiser Insulation: Unquestionably amazing! First, charge them as recommended (Ice & Cold Water for 5 min. before filling). Then, load with about 1/4 C Ice + the rest with Diet Coke. Leave at room temperature. The next morning, still ice cold and nearly all the ice remains!! Appearance: Beautiful. Colors are absolutely uniform and opaque, very rich. Stainless accent rings are flawless; edge of Powder Coating is perfectly straight and razor sharp. Stainless Steel is think enough to dent easily; Slim Cruiser arrived with a small dent. Handling: Powder Coating is matte finish but still pretty slick. Diameter is difficult for average hand to get a comfortable grip. Accessory handle recommended. Cruiser is easier to grasp because of the sharp break halfway up. Slim Cruiser coating is particularly vulnerable at the base (Cruiser has Stainless bottom). Powder Coating: Beautiful finish but easily chipped if dropped on pavement. Disappointing for a Powder Coat finish. So, Slim Cruiser loses because it's more difficult to grip and due to the absence of a Stainless base. But both are great Tumblers!

Exacly What I Was Looking For
I ordered three Slim Cruiser Tumblers and am thrilled. I found that the Apple, Lilac, & Autumn colors matched their online representations of those colors. And there was a nice treat inside the sturdy box that they come in: A coupon code for a free set of colored plastic straws that you can order on their website. I used one last, to keep by my bed, and the liquid inside was still nice and cold in the morning. They're just about perfect!

Super easy to clean too
So we are a Contigo family, but they don't sell tumblers with the flip top/straw combo and I really wanted one to use for hot coffee (tumbler top) or cold drinks (straw ). We have yet to find another brand who can keep our drinks as hot/cold for as long as Contigo until now!!! This cup is a close 2nd. Our Contigo still kicks it's butt at longevity and spill-proof technology, but for day-to-day, this is my new Go-to cup. I put ice water in my cup at 8pm at night, and it was still cold by 12pm the following day! 16 hours. The ice had already melted, but it was still just as cold. With our Contigo, after 16 hours, there would still be ice in the cup. We've managed to get 24 hours of cold water in our Contigo, and we live in Florida. But honestly, who doesn't finish a drink after 16 hours? So really, we don't need our drinks to go that long. We will still be Contigo fans for it's spill-proof design when we are out and about, but for the office or day in, this is it! Super easy to clean too. Contigo tops are a bit hard to clean.

Just what I needed.
I bought this because I'm always buying my 32oz iced lattes at the local coffee shop in my way to work and it adds up at $7.50 a pop. I wanted something this size that would hold cold and fit in my car's cupholder. This is perfect. Though the lid isn't a teist- on, the lid doesn't pop off when you grab it while driving like others might. I'm saving a lot of money making my own caffeine with this thing. It is 32oz, so it's big, but the slim style isn't bulky- looking at all. Already ran it through the dishwasher and it came out just fine. If you're looking for a good-looking, functional, reliable travel cup, I recommend this.

I love this tumbler!
I love this tumbler! I drink a lot of tea, and it’s big enough (32 oz) to last for hours, which is great for me. I’m disabled, and with my old tumbler I would be making tea every few hours or so. It’s very well made, the lid fits very snugly - I’ve filled it with hot tea, turned in upside down and not one drop leaks out. I wasn’t sure about buying it but I am SO GLAD I did. It’s by far the best tumbler I’ve ever bought. One more thing - liquids stay hot for a long time. Once I made tea before bedtime, and the next morning it was still pretty warm. I got the black one and it’s beautiful. Excellent quality, very well made.

Definitely a fan.
I ordered two Simple|Modern 30oz Insulated Tumblers in June 2017 (the stainless steel option - no color). They arrived on time and in good condition and I was excited to get them. The first tumbler I tried out was AMAAAZING. It kept my drinks SO cold that ice would remain in the cup (even after refills of liquid) 24 hours later! LOVED this tumbler. So, I confidently hand-washed (PLEASE handwash any steel insulated tumbler - the dishwasher does awful things to the vacuum seal) that one after about three days' constant use and broke out the other one. Disappointment. It functioned no better than a styrofoam cup... I was constantly adding ice to re-chill my beverage. Okay, well, I just washed that one and figured, lesson learned. 50% satisfaction is infinitely better than complete dissatisfaction. I put the - defective - tumbler in the top of my beverage cabinet to decide what to do with it later. I wasn't angry, nor upset, just slightly disappointed. I mean, after all, I had this FABULOUS tumbler that worked wonders! In a few weeks, I received a request from Simple|Modern asking me to review the product. Rather than blindside them with a "meh" review, I told them about my experience. A couple of emails requesting details about the issue, and a new tumbler was in the mail and on its way. OH, YEAH, BAYBEE!!! This one functioned exactly like the first. HAPPINESS ABOUNDS! You may think I'm being silly, but for someone who is deskbound and suffers from Sjögren's syndrome, I NEED to have a beverage handy at all times and to be constantly refreshing because it's gone warm is frustrating. NOTE: I RARELY give five-star reviews. I did because of their awesome customer service and unquestioning willingness to "make things right." These are a decently priced alternative to those "other" stainless steel tumblers. They definitely do the trick! Thanks, Simple|Modern!

Love this tumbler, no need for my old Yeti
I purchased the 32 oz Slim Cruiser in wood grain. I love it. I've been an avid Yeti user for a few years, but the larger Yetis are too big to fit in my car's cupholders, so I needed something narrower. This keeps my drinks even colder than the Yeti (can't comment on heat retention since I don't drink anything hot). And as a bonus, in addition to the 2 black straws it came with, it also came with a coupon code for an additional 5 pack of straws from the Simple Modern website (I did have to pay a couple bucks for shipping, but whatever). Initially when I opened the package I was a little surprised by the straws, as they seemed flimsier than the dense hard plastic ones that I'm used to. However, I ended up liking them better because they're hard plastic with just a little "give" to them, so if you're prone to biting your straw a bit you won't hurt your teeth. The wood grain finish seems high quality, but I will update the review if I have any problems with it. A few notes I want to share after reading some of the more critical reviews: - The rubber gasket around the lid is definitely removable, and should be removed periodically for a thorough cleaning. The same goes for any tumbler this style, please for the love of sanitation clean that thing - If the gasket gets twisted or misaligned, as stated above it is removable. Just adjust it - A few people complained that it was impossible to sip from this (sans straw) without drink dribbling everywhere. Not sure what issues they're having with their cup/mouth interface, but I have zero problems All that being said, I only gave this 4 stars in the "leak proof" category, as it wasn't designed to be entirely leak proof. No sip/straw style tumbler is ever going to accomplish that. If you want something that you can fill with liquid and toss in your purse or backpack, you need a bottle not a tumbler. End of story. Dont expect miracles.
