Great Basket!!!!

I received the basket and when I unpacked it, there was a dent on the bottom edge. I thought.....man, I am going to have to return this...but I pushed on the dent slightly and the metal gave and pushed back in shape (mostly). The metal of the basket is very thin so you need to be careful with washing and moving it around or more dents will occur. Otherwise it worked perfectly in my IP. UPDATED......After I posted above 3 star review, House Again sent me a new basket. It was in perfect condition!! The trivet was connected to the basket...not like the first one that had the trivet loose in the box. Works exactly how it was advertised in my 6 quart Instant Pot.

Awesome product although had a bad ordering experience

Absolutely love this product I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a great product however I had a disappointing experience while ordering it it didn't get delivered on time and when I received it it looked like it had already been used washed and was missing the handle but I was allowed to keep it from Amazon for the inconvenience and I ordered a different brand wish I had the handle because I actually like this one a lot better much easier to clean and it also has a flat base seems as though you can put a little more in it with that all being said Amazon gave it to me gave me my money back and Amazon is still the best in my book!

Sticky Tape Residue No More, Unpacking was Quick and Easy!

I debated on whether or not to get a mesh basket, but thought it would trap food and be difficult to clean. After looking at the stainless steel baskets, I was drawn to this one. 8 have no complaints. Why do I love this basket? - It's nearly the same size as the pot that comes with my 6 qt. Instant Pot, so I lose very little capacity using this basket. - It cleaned easily by hand. - Unpacking it was easy; the tape residue issue that others complained about has been resolved. The basket is packed in a plastic recyclable bag. The bag has light adhesive along the top edge. - This basket is a great value for the price.

Good, sturdy steaming pot for Instant Pot

Update: Several months in and these products are by far my most-used IP accessories. They get used and washed a LOT. And when I had follow-up questions (I lost one of the little silicone feet), the seller's response was prompt and helpful. Very highly recommended! Original review: Sturdier and easier to clean than similar mesh products, although the detachable silicone sleeves for the feet make that a touch harder. Mine came wrapped in plastic and taped on the outside of the wrapping, unlike what some reviewers report. Fit perfectly inside my 8qt Instant Pot. I ordered a 3qt model as well and unfortunately the handle sometimes (though not every time) pushes up against the IP sealing ring and prevents a good seal. I just push down a little on the lid and it's good to go. It's still an excellent basket, just maybe a hair too tall in the 3qt size.

Update: The seller reached to me because of my review. He offered to refund the cost of the steamer. I declined and just told them that they need to do something other than using that tape that leaves a horrible residue. He acknowledged that he is going to address this issue. I did get the residue off the pot and have used it for steaming frozen mixed vegetables and I am very happy with the results and the product. The seller did end up refunding me the cost of the steamer anyway although I told them that wasn't necessary. But to be fair...I do really like the steamer for the instant pot. It seems well made and worked like a charm. Now if they will just change out that tape. I read the reviews about how the tape leaves a hard to get rid of residue...and this is very true. I don't know if I have every seen regular tape leave such a gross residue on something like this before. The maker of this product really needs to take a look at the packaging of this product and find another way to keep the plastic on rather than this tape. I'll be working on getting the "gunk" off the pot again tonight so that I can try and use it for the first time. I'll update my review when I am able to actually use the product.

Great Customer Service

Update: After receiving the wrong fitting handle, House Again quickly reached out to me to provide the correct handle with fast shipping. Now the handle fits correctly inside of my instant pot, and the steamer works great! I understand mistakes happen, but House Again provides great customer service and will stand by their products. Would recommend this product --------------------------------------------------------- The steamer itself seems nice, however when attaching the handle it is a bit too long and extends over the side of the steamer. When putting the steamer inside of my 6 qt Instant Pot, the handle sits on top of the bowl which then prevents the lid from locking into place. From other pictures, it seems like my handle is longer which stops it from fitting inside the Instant Pot.

Update: To my surprise, I received a another steamer pot in the mail today. It was in perfect condition and fits very well into my Instantpot 8 qt. with only a tiny gap between it and the liner (See updated photos). There is plenty of clearance to close the Instant Pot lid. I'm very pleased with the product! I feel like the House Again company and Amazon really cared that my initial order wasn't right, and have redeemed themselves. I have posted photos of the replacement steamer basket they sent and changed my rating to 5 stars. Because of the quality of the product and the caring customer service, I would definitely order this product from them again. Thank you House Again and Amazon! (Old review) Like other one star commenters, the steamer pot I received was crushed in on the side. The box it arrived in wasn't crushed, so it had to be damaged by either the manufacturer (House Again), or by the Amazon fulfillment center. I'm very dissapointed, especially because the product itself looked so promising.

Works in the Ultra 6 perfectly!

Fits perfectly into our Ultra 6 quart Instant Pot and the lit closes without touching it (see picture). The trivet that comes with the IP fits inside this basket should the need arise, however, you can place this basket over the IP trivet, too. Not much else to say, it works very well. I just gotta say that the packaging dept. went way over-board with wrapping the handle and it's really annoying to unwrap. The total height of the basket is 5-9/16 inches all the way to the top of the handle (folded down) and 5-15/16 to the top of the basket lip.

Just buy it! You won’t regret it!

I can’t say enough about this steamer style basket. I use it in my Duo 80 - 8 quart instant pot and have been for maybe 6 months or so now. I loved it so much I bought my mom one for Christmas. Highly recommend it. The ability to cook a full chicken, or Boston butt, or apple cider and simply pull the basket out of the pot. It makes for ease of use. Just go ahead and buy it. Pros: a lot!!! Cons: slightly costly but worth it.
