Perfect, but has sharp edges
I have this to check my teeth after lunch and hair whenever. I don’t like having to pull something out every time I want to look at myself...I can be a little inconspicuous and vain. Haha

So far really like it. Going to use it to cut my hair.
Just got the mirror and seems to be well made. Had no problem doing a test use of it. I am going to use it in conjunction with a clothes dryer pole to clip the mirror to in order to cut my hair. Should work great for this purpose and the mirror is bigger enough to see what you are doing. May not be what it was intended to be used for but I think it will work great and gives other people an idea how much you can see in the mirror.

Keeps my Coworkers from Sneaking up on Me.
I recently moved to a new desk in my office building where there is a large partition between myself and the door - and paranoia set in. People could sneak up on me. Play tricks on me. Hurt me. But I said NO THANK YOU and bought this mirror - installed easily and now I can preemptively creep my coworkers out by greeting them by name as they walk in the door before they can see me.

Does the job perfectly
I love this mirror! After 19 years in a windowless office, I was eager to face my desk (in my new office) toward the window. But that means my back is to the door. Problem solved with my monitor-mounted rearview mirror! The easily adjusted angle allows me to see people before they get to the door, so I can turn to greet them...or just say hello to passersby. Very happy with this purchase!

Watching my own back
Sharing an office with 2 other people meant we had to strategically arrange our desks and I ended up with my back to the door. I like to have an awareness of what's going on and who is coming in behind me, so use the mirror frequently during the day. Co-workers get a kick out of it. The mirror has been clamped to my monitor and hasn't slipped or moved. It was easy to set up.

Finally, I can catch my annoying coworker prowling
I have this horrible cowoker that "shoulder surfs" - sneaks up behind people and details which sites they are on throughout the day in order to get them written up. Before this mirror, I would get an uncomfortable feeling, kind of like an antelope about to be attacked. BAM, he would be right behind me with his face twisted into a grimace. Now with this excellent product, I can feel at ease. An uneasy presence has been lifted from around my shoulder!

Great rear view mirror for cubicle at work
Clipped this onto my monitor to see when someone walks up behind me (my desk faces away from foot traffic). The clip springs are a little on the weak side when holding the weight of the mirror, but I was able to make it work. The mirror is high quality glass with no distortion and a clear clean view. The shaft is stiff and hard to bend, but it may have to be that way to hold the weight of the mirror. Good size for above a monitor also, not too small.

No one sneaks up on me now!
Moved from an office to a cube with my back to the opening. After being startled a few times enough was enough. I purchased this and found it a little challenging to maneuver into the right position but once there it hasn’t moved. I bumped it taking it out of the packaging and chipped the corner, something I don’t think should have happened so easily, but it is glass, so there is that.

Life saver
I sit in a 4-pod cubicle, with my back to the main entry, and this mirror is a life saver. It provides a huge field of view and it stays in place once you've got it set. I even put more strain on mine than most people probably do because I have a Varidesk, so a few times a day it gets jolted by me standing up or sitting down, and it stays in place like a champ. I have the frameless rectangle version.

It All Looks Better in Hindsight
We recently reorganized seating arrangements at work, and I put my desk front-and-center so I'm the first person anyone sees when they walk in through the front door, since historically having people sitting behind a computer screen isn't the most welcoming, and occasionally we need to greet someone so they aren't standing their awkwardly. The position is great, but the door was *just* enough behind and to the left that it was out of my peripheral vision, creating more of a distraction for me. So I sought out this Clip On mirror and went with the wider rectangle over the small circular option - it works great! Now, when I hear the door open I can look just above my computer screen and see who is walking in - whether it be a guest or another associate. Just what I needed, easy to assemble and clip on, and it's improved my new desk 100%.
