Slippery and cool!
Just bought this as part of a boycott of the G company, was I glad I did! Love this cream! It made a semi sharp razor blade glide like it was new! Really slippery on the face but rinses off the face and razor easily. My new go-to brand works great!

Slick and Cool
Have been wet shaving (mug/brush) for several years now and had heard about Cremo but never tried it. Recently I was looking for a "mentholated" product to augment my love of Proraso/CO Bigelow and came across this. Was not disappointed. Right out of the gate I will state it works just fine using a wet brush even though it's meant to be hand lathered. Just sop your brush with water, give one mild shake, add a dollop of cream and lather away. It creates a slightly thinner foam than some other brands, but still works just fine. The shave is wonderful. Provides an extremely slick shaving surface allowing the blade to glide across the skin. The Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Peppermint oils provide very good cooling...better than Proraso I would say and it lasts about a half hour after the shave is complete. If you are a multi-pass shaver, saving the against-the-grain as your final pass allows the foam to really cool down the skin that you should barely feel any discomfort. Very happy I gave this a try and at roughly $13 for two tubes you can't beat the value. Highly recommend.

One bottle lasted me almost a year!
I was a bit skeptical about this product from the cost as I was used to buying cheap brands. I've been wasting my money forever on various shaving creams and gels. This product is fantastic! It is smooth when you apply it and you don't need to use much at all. The bottle says it is enough for a 90 day supply... I find that to be hard to believe as one bottle has lasted my hubby and I just under 1 year. I bought this product June 15th, 2018 and I finished the bottle yesterday, May 30th, 2019. This product definitely lasts a long time! The shave is great. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch, much better than any other brand I've tried. I don't have too sensitive of skin but again compared to other brands I barely see any bumps and almost never have a knick. I love this stuff! I'll have to check if there are other scents or styles but the original is fantastic! I would definitely recommend this to others. I still have one full bottle that I just opened but I will be making another purchase so I can keep a spare bottle on hand at all times.

Works well, no perfume, moderate price.
The tube says something like it's the best shaving cream ever, it has 90 shaves worth, and angels will descend upon you with regular use. I've used Cremo for a few years, since I saw the old-school name on the shelf and thought 90 shaves would be a good deal. I can attest to the high quality of the shaving cream. You use a small amount and spread it around, and it sort of disappears--the opposite of regular shaving foam. I haven't counted the number of shaves per tube, but it seems like a lot. The shave seems closer than with regular shaving cream, judging by the feel when I shave the next morning vs. when I've used another shaving cream. I shave both with and against the grain, and don't get razor burn with this. So two of the tube' s claims are accurate for me, and I made up the one about the angels. At least the very slight scent does not make you smell like a flower shop when you go out. Complaints? None, unless you count the time I dropped a tube in front of a heating fan on the floor for a day. It turned kind of runny, but was still usable. Too cheap to throw away.

One of the best and comfortable shaves
In the last 10 years, I have used the following shave cream products: Alba shaving cream: I really liked Alba shave cream, especially the Aloe Mint version was very good. Around the same time I also tried Burts and Bees shave cream which was also good, a bit more creamy. Then in 2017, I switched to Van Der Hagen Shave Butter which was also very good (I think Burts and Bees shave cream and Van Der Hagen shave butter are very similar). Then last year, I have tried Cremo for the first time and I really like it. It is the same idea as the aforementioned shave creams but it has more thickness to it. Because of its thickness, it pulls more weight on your skin which diminishes the impact of the blades. Other shave creams are good but when you apply hot water, they dissipate too much. When you apply hot water to Cremo, it soaps up and does not dissipate as much. It is somewhat easier to manage the cream to water distribution. I highly recommend it.

Very slick, improves every razor's shave. No need for lubricating strips!
Update: I have gotten used to the lack of foam and find Cremo to be an exceptional shave cream. They call it barber grade, and I would agree that it is far better than any canned shave cream or gel that I have ever tried. The only similar quality products that I have tried which have the slickness of Cremo are Headslick and Billy Jealousy. Since using these creams, I have not had a single nick and minimal razor burn Cremo as compared to shave gels or foams is extremely slick and razors glide over it. I have both Mach 3 and Fusion proshield and don't notice a difference with the lubricating strips from the proshield since both razors feel the same and both give great shaves of face and head with virtually no razor burn. If there is a negative, it is that there is little foam so that it is difficult to know where you last shaved (Headblade slick is very similar in terms of glide but lathers a little bit more making it easier to shave head and face, but the menthol of headslick can burn the eyes a little).

I've been shaving a long time. I'm 50 years old and male. I'm white with central European ancestry, and anyone who shaves knows, your skin type matters when selecting shave cream/foam. I would consider my skin to be extraordinarily average: it tans easily and burns if overexposed, it is not oily or dry, it's not pink nor is it brown, its standard run of the mill skin for a white male. My fiance is half Mexican and half Brazilian. Her skin tans easier than mine but still burns, is more brown but not dark (think inside of an almond), will burn if overexposed, and is a bit more oily. I have fine, sandy brown hair. She has thick, dark brown (almost black) hair. I also shave my legs for cycling. She shave her legs and arm pits. We both use this product because its the best. I've used everything at all the standard Rx and grocery stores. I've used a hundred different small-batch "natural" or "homemade" creams. This one is the best. A little goes a long way. You put a small amount (think chickpea) in you hand, rub into wet/hot skin (we both shave in the shower), and work until you have a THIN FILM of milky white cream covering the shave area. Do not use too much. Shave normally. Shaving is like sliding across wet ice. You can re-shave an area without adding extra cream, just work the area again with you hand and you'll see the thin film of cream work back up. You can do this once after the initial shave if you need to hit an area again. Add a tiny bit of cream if you need hit an area a third time (for when you wait waaayyy too long to shave). We both can shave against the grain without getting bumps. There's no after-burn, no rawness, no sensitivity, nothing. Just a seriously close shave. I found this product about 10 years ago and have been using it ever since. Try it out. It may be the last shave cream you ever try. FWIW, I use a Gillette Mach 3 razor. Have for 20 years. It's just right. Not too few blades. Not too many. She uses the same razor because it's way better than all the crappy female targeted products. At least that's what she says.

The best I've tried
I got this for my husband as part of a beard-care-shaving gift bag, but it came with two giant bottles so I decided to try one for myself. I must say, it's wonderful. It's a soft, creamy formula that doesn't make your skin feel oily or squeaky after it washes off, it just feels clean and soft. It lathers well, and does give a very good shave. I considered one of the "for women" options, but I'm either allergic (lavender), or the smell makes me gag (mango), so I was really happy when the scent of this was just a vague, pleasant smell. It doesn't really smell like anything specific, but it's definitely not floral, nor is it really woodsy and masculine smelling. Regardless, the scent goes away pretty quickly after rinsing. I'm really happy with it and will continue to order.

Excellent Shaving Cream
In my unending quest to find the perfect shaving accompaniments, there's a new leader in the shaving cream category. Cremo Cooling Shave cream has a wonderful mint scent that's perfectly balanced - enjoyable, but not too strong. It goes on very smoothly with a wonderful skin cooling effect. The oils they use provide excellent lubrication for your blades, giving you a very smooth shave. When rinsed off, your skin is left with a wonderful, cool, and smooth feeling. All-in-all, Cremo is a wonderful shave cream. I'll always be on the lookout for perfection, but it's difficult to believe that Creamo will be displace from the top spot soon
