Good canvas for the price

A professional artist would never give these canvas boards a 5 star but for a beginner these are perfect. I bought them for my 9 year old granddaughter who decided to do paintings for Christmas gifts. They are economical so if a painting needs to be redone it isn't a big loss. They are sturdy because the canvas is glued to a heavy cardboard backing. We used them for watercolor which takes some care not to pull the paint from the canvas when applying layers, but a bit of experimenting helped with that. Overall a good purchase to get her started.

Perfect for beginners!!

They are exactly what I wanted and expected. My daughter is an artist. At only 11 she needs some practice. These will give her the chance to do that without breaking the bank! Thanks!

Perfect for 9 year old Art Lover

First I have to say that I didn't at all pay attention to the description at all.....I should have known you can't get 12 6x6 actual stretched thick canvas for this cheap. I'm not usually in the market for art supplies so just thought I had come upon the deal of all deals...a Christmas present miracle. After receiving, I looked back at the listing and it is very clear these are panels. And honestly it works out even better. My 9 year old is going through an "Artist" phase and because her "competitive cheer" phase is now 5 years and 10s of thousands of dollars in and going strong, I try to save money where I can while still respecting how she wants to express herself. She isnt a professional, and honestly these will be easier for her to work with as well as display! As for quality, I have nothing to compare to but I don't see any major issues. The canvas is stretched tight and secured nicely with a back panel. There aren't any rips or marks on the canvas. I did notice a few tiny rips on the side of a few BUT they are so tiny and don't affect the usability of the canvas. 4.5 of 5. Packaging wise, these came wrapped together tightly (12 pk). Once opened, I noticed every other panel was individually wrapped (6 wrapped/6 unwrapped). Not sure the purpose of this but they were careful to make sure they didn't get damaged in transit. 5 of 5. Additional features: I do like that there is a type of "label" on the back to write in the details about the artwork on the canvas. Cool feature so I can look back at her little artwork and reminisce or the ones she gifts them to will always know this info. Overall, if you are in the market for canvas panels these are definitely a deal. I 100% recommend. They would be cute for tons of DIY home projects as well!

Great for painting.

They're pre gesso'ed and take paint very well. I got them for quick paintings for Christmas presents, and now all I use are different sizes for different paintings. I reccomend them highly.

Perfect for practice and improvement

These canvas are thin and cheap, PERFECT for someone trying to crank out a ton of paintings for practice pieces or development work. They're probably even good enough for some professional use, but really I'd expect to buy a real professional piece on some much higher quality stretched canvas, not a panel. There are a few reviews citing the boards bend with painting use, as you can see, there really isn't much of that at all as ive used them. These several paintings were done over the last 3 weeks and the canvas have been great. I'm guessing they dumped a boat load of paint on a GLUED canvas panel and expected it to hold as if it were a stapled canvas (like, really?) I LOVE being able to buy small cheap panels so i can practice and improve without breaking the bank. And while yes, acrylic use paper exists, it is much more likely to warp and is just as expensive as these panels.

Awesome product!

These are a great buy and a great price! This are a nice alternative to the thicker stretched canvas. I am a beginner painter and these are great to work on. Paint spreads nicely, no flaws or imperfections on the canvas and I can still hang them up if I want. Will definitely be buying them again! Companies customer service is TOP NOTCH! They sent me an email to ask how the product was and if I had any issues with the product and gave me email and phone number to call. TOP QUALITY all the way around!

Affordable, reliable, and easy to frame.

Way cheaper than some of the other canvas boards I’ve seen and just as good quality. Nice tip is that you can use quick-frames to frame artwork on these boards ( just glue to the back of it), and voila! No need for more expensive stretched canvases.

Great quality

These canvas panels exceeded my expectations for the price. Have ordered at least 5 12packs and have yet to had an unusable panel. Usually when buying bulk panels there are a few in the pack that are damaged, not so with this brand. I also like that the labeling on the back is classy which adds perceived value.
