An insomniac's dream come true

I love everything about this speaker. For decades, I have tuned into distant AM radio stations on my little transister radio stuffed under my pillow. Unfortunately, my favorite stations fade in and out. I downloaded iHeartRadio to my iPod, and chose the stations I wanted to listen to, and connected the speaker to my iPod. This soft little fluffy speaker fits so nicely under my pillow and I can listen to far away stations without any fading in and out, clear as a bell. It is just wonderful. The connecting wires are soft and pliable, and the buttons are intuitive and easy to use in the dark. An insomniac's dream come true.

Perfect Pillow Speaker

I love this pillow speaker. Sound is good, speaker is covered for comfort and that doesn't cause sound difficulties. Also need to mention that the customer service from C.Crane was outstanding when I found that the wire was damaged. They replaced the entire Pillow Speaker even though that problem may have been caused by one of our family pets. But that's the way C.Crane operates.. Wonderful company with great products.

Loud enough to hear through a pillow

My wife uses this every night. 8 hours. Had it over a month, and just now the first set of batteries died. She hears everything fine through a pillow, and I don't hear anything. It was the perfect solution to our problem. The amplifier is the best part. Highly recommend this

Great product

I have insomnia and used headsets with my iPod to listen to recorded books to put me to sleep. Earbuds and headsets are most uncomfortable to sleep with. This pillow speaker is absolutely wonderful. I can her it but my husband can't and I can sleep much better without headsets on. The battery life is fantastic -- I haven't had to replace the battery yet even though It has been on for about two hours a night for the past six weeks.

use under compressed part of pillow (under your head)

Excellent C Crane product as usual. Previous speaker is more than 10 years old. Old speaker was yanked hard by cord, and connection was compromised. I will get even with "cord". Sound penetrates better through firm pillow section under your ear.

Fabulous, I had a pillow speaker with amplification before, should have stuck with them, anyway the sangean I had is ok, but the ones like this c crane with amplification is the only way to go. I gave battery life 5 stars, haven’t really had it long enough to make a judgement in that, but I bet those 2 little AAA last a while, oh and this is the first amplified speaker I r had that has a timer, so ya, I expect battery life to be great. Thanks

Battery Life

I really like the idea of having the audio amplifier controlled by a timer. If this wasn't the case a new battery would be required every night. The amplifier is good but not required, speaker still works without the amplifier.

My wife loves this speaker!

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She puts on a book or some music and listens to it through the pillow. The sound is very good and it's not uncomfortable to lie on. Nice little gadget!

Loud enough

I put this under my pillow so I can listen to podcasts at night without disturbing my husband. I can set it loud enough to hear it through my pillow. Easy to use.
