Surprisingly strong cultivator. I love it. This is a nice complement to my roto tiller that actually makes gardening pretty fun. I won’t bore you with the details, but my physical condition does not make for a great deal of fun. I love being outdoors with nature, just not getting down on my knees to pull weeds so much. BOTTOM LINE Five stars out of five.

I got this out to tackle the garden beds this season, and wow... this is a million times better than my shovel. It was easy to assemble, didn't even require any tools, and tore into my soil like a champ. It busted up some weed roots and dug down deep to cultivate the soil. It still takes some muscle power to hold onto, but nothing compared to my shovel! The better has a good life and it went full-bore for about an hour or so before I needed to recharge. Soooo glad I have this!

Out of the box, a few minutes were required to assemble the tiller. It's light weight and does the job reasonably well. My small garden required 20 minutes or so and that ran down 2/4 bar of capacity. I watered the soil before working on it and experienced no difficulty with the tiller. It's light-weight enough that I think my wife can operate effectively. However, I can see why another reviewer complained of the lack of front weight and the extra effort required to dig into the soil.

The 60V lithium battery provides a surprising amount of power, and an awesome feature is that the battery is interchangeable with other Powerworks products such as their chainsaw and leaf blower, so you can buy other tools without having to invest in a new battery. It charges from empty in about 90 minutes and lasts for about an hour of use. The only downside I can see with this tiller is that it is pretty light, so it can take some effort to push it down into denser soil when you're using it. This is a good quality tiller that provides plenty of power so it's perfect for small yards.
