It was backordered and was supposed to arrive in January and we actually got it right in time for xmas!! Excellent job Amazon. It's a great toy that I'm hoping will help my 17 mo todler with speaking. So far she is only interested in pressing a star button over and over again.. Lol. I'm sure that with time she will discover the fun pages and grow into using this book fully.

this is a great "toy" and will be even bigger

this is a great "toy" and will be even bigger, better and more important when our baby granddaughter is a little older. She LOVES her Violet and this will be the perfect adjunct when she is just a little more ready for increasing her vocabulary! That said, she's a music girl and the songs are fully entertaining.

Pretty good mid size book

My little one is almost 11months and is starting to point at things and loves looking at picture books like these (but with me reading the words..lol). Like other reviews, the book is pretty sensitive which is really good when he has his finger exactly on a picture (mostly just the pictures on the bottom) and my little one loves listening to the book read the word over and over again by just slightly giving pressure on the finger but then again when the whole hand is on a page the book will read a bunch of words and my little one does get sometimes a bit frustrated. But all in all it seems to me my little one is enjoying the book!

Great Learning Toy!

I love that this can be switched back and forth between Spanish and English. Perhaps that will give my daughter a head start. I bought this for my 1-year-old daughter and leave it in her crib with her to occupy her when she has trouble sleeping. It works wonderfully. It only requires a very gentle touch to activate the words. She loves pressing the star button to play music, too.

Great book for teaching a two words

This book was given as a Christmas present to my triplet grand babies , who were premature and having some speech difficulty. The two that hardly every talked are now taking this book, pointing to the pictures and saying a lot of words now. I love that you can touch the picture and it will say the word. It has been a fabulous helping tool for these babies in just a few short weeks!!

Great product

This talking book is hands down the best thing I bought my daughter. She was a bit delayed in speech and since buying this book she’s been spitting out new words left and right. It responds well to touch and the pages are very durable which is great in the hands of a toddler!

It is so difficult to find bilingual English/Spanish toys but Vtech always seems to deliver! Although I only found the book in pink it’s amazing!! Must buy you won’t regret!

Fantastic

Fantastic book for learning English and Spanish. Very heavy Pages. Takes abuse from baby and still going strong. If it every breaks I will purchase again. Had it 4 months and still looks new. Loud and clear on the speech. Very good quality and I think a great price

Great Quality

Bought this for my nieces 1st birthday. It was great quality. Plastic style pages so they will not rip easy. The pictures just take a soft touch to promote the talking/singing/describing of the picture, unlike a lot of books that they must push hard. I was happy with this purchase and my niece loved it.

Educational

Great learning reader. Leap Frog you have done it again. My granddaughter loves her Leap Frog Scout and Violet Word Book. She listens to it every day. I highly recommend this device.
