Love love love it. Looks beautiful, not super expensive and kicks out good heat for my basement. Best part is that when it’s on Hi heat the front isn’t hot. I was worried about that with having a 1yr old. Didn’t want him to get burned. I actually misplaced the remote and the customer service was prompt to get another one right away. After 4 months of looking, I’m happy I pulled the trigger on this one. You can have the flames on without heat too. It just looks great. Love having it on.

Adds Coziness to your Decor

Love our new electric fireplace insert. We did a major renovation to our 1910 cottage home this past year. Adding a Victorian mantel in our living room was one of our additions. This insert worked perfectly. We have a gas fireplace in our kitchen & now we have an alternate source of electric heat in the living room. I love the ambience it creates. Especially in the summer when I can turn it on without any heat! There are several fire colors to choose from. Our is the amethyst flame. Christmas guests could not get over how it kept us cozy in the living room & dining room this past season.

Beautiful

This heated our home when our furnace went out in sub zero temps till we were able to purchase a new furnace and hook it up where we wanted. Great product and very easy to use. Unit does not get hot except where the heat come out on top that area does get very hot to the touch. Makes a great addition to any room had an old fire insert that just didn't work the best used this unit to replace it. Heated the basement space of 1300 just fine. Back room was a little cooler but being a bedroom that was ok. Heating bill did go up but it wasn't as bad as expected as unit ran constantly being so cold -10 plus a windchill on top of that in the end it costed us more than our furnace to run over the time frame.

So beautiful, easy to use, great heat output

This fireplace is so beautiful! I love staring at the flames. I love the ease of the fireplace being able to have flames without heat is a key component for me. It plugs into a regular outlet. You can change the flame speed, the light in the box and the temperature output. It shipped in a lot of Styrofoam so there was no damage to the unit even though the box had minimal damage. I would absolutely buy another unit for a 2nd room if I needed one. I slid this fireplace into my old standard wood burning fireplace. I had an electrician place a new electrical outlet box in the fireplace to power it. I built the fireplace surround around the fireplace and it's perfect.

This is THE ONE A+++++, Here's Why:

I've had many electric fireplaces as a home investor and they make a house a home. My last home sale was continent that I leave the "fake" fireplace in the Master Bedroom - they are that desirable. I chose this insert because the pre-packaged ones at the home (big box) stores have a cabinet, but the insert is crap. The Classic Flame is BY FAR THE BEST INSERT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. Here's why: PROS - The insert has flame colors (five and auto), flame speed (5), Infrared heat, a countdown timer (30 inures to 9 hours), flame brightness (5), on/off, temperature setting and ambient light - The unit is TRULY 3D. The ember bed and grate appear to be of one piece, the "brick" walls another, the flame backdrop another, and the logs completely separate!!! If you look at the "off" photos closely, you can see the parts. The log sit separate instead of formed into the wall of most units. The DIFFERENCE of this unit is the depth of the front view logs and ember bed. It also has an "ambient light" with two settings that shines on the logs and walls for an even MORE realistic fireplace. Simply amazing!!!! - The unit is composed of the elements above behind glass that is approximately 5-6" deep. This adds an unbelievable dimension to the fireplace and is looks as real as an electric unit can. Truly amazing. - The remote handles everything except the temperature adjustment (that I've seen). The remote is responsive and perfect. CONS - I wish the "fire effect could be slightly brighter in daylight. However, this is just a feature of it being all LED. - I wish I had four more units as they are AMAZING and the heat and ambiance is addicting and I want to have one in every room!!!!

Cozy and warm fireplace insert.

This looks great and installs easily. Cranks out the heat (as long as you remember to close the windows in your house so the heat doesn't escape.... oops!). It really has made our basement feel really cozy.

We already owned a smaller electric fireplace that we use in our bedroom, but we needed a larger unit to install in our stand-alone solid oak mantle in our living room. The ClassicFlame was a perfect fit, we trimmed it out using faux stone and it's beautiful. We have a large, open concept living room and we weren't sure if this unit would heat the entire space. At first, it didn't seem to. But once we turned up the thermostat to around 80 degrees, it more than heated our entire 1000 sq. ft. living room and kitchen. Once you reach the warmth you desire, you can turn the thermostat back down to around 72 and it will maintain an even temperature. Very quiet blower, can run while watching tv and it is not a distraction. The flame and lighting effects are very natural and beautiful to watch. We couldn't be more pleased.
