Fantastic metal detector!

Not the AT pro or gold but it makes me feel like one of those guys. Definitely better than my bounty hunter tracker IV. It's easy to operate and came with a back pack I wasn't expecting. Well worth the money and hopefully it'll pay for a pro!

Great starter metal detector

I'm just starting out metal detecting and after a bunch of research I chose this model. I've never metal detected before in my life however I had watch several videos prior to the purchase so I already had a good grasp of what to do. However there is a bit of a learning curve when utilizing your metal detector. First few times that used to it I did dig up a whole lot of pop tops. After just a few days of use I was able to use the custom settings to narrow down what exactly I was looking for. So far this is a really fun hobby and since I live in Wisconsin I'm already thinking that I'm going to hate it when winter comes because I won't be able to go out and take things up. The detector is built well is very easy to use and is light. I would recommend it for anybody who is just starting out because it has just enough options to make metal detecting enjoyable. I highly recommend for anybody who starting out.

Easy to User - Quality Product - Great Value

First, it is a well built and sturdy product. It is intuitive and easy to use; the digital numeric display is fantatic. Also, you can quickly change settings and customize the "find". We bought this to find my wife's rings that she lost in the yard, but didn't know where. Upon searching the yard, the rings were found. Since then, I found other things, but none as important as her rings. Thanks.

Great for the beginning metal detector!

I purchased this for a metal detecting course, and found very easy to use right from the start. Easy set-up and easy to use! I highly recommend this for the beginner metal detector.

I'm a beginner and decided on this detector. Really like all the features this 300 gives you for the price, including the basic accessories. It's a learning curve on the notch discrimination settings, but like I said I'm a beginner. The built-in pinpoint feature is wonderful and so far, no need for an additional handheld pinpoint unit. Headphones are not top of the line and will probably upgrade those for better comfort, but they work. Garrett has an excellent learning tutorial video for this unit on their web site. Great detector, easy to use, fast shipping

My son loves it, he went out once and dug up a bullet casing from the early 1960s, he loves it, works really well and definately worth the money if you can't afford the AT pro

Out standing. Works great. Easy to use once you get the sounds and tones down it makes things simple. I was down in Tennessee and found some old civil war bullets on my brothers land one of which was about 7 " deep.

Fast shipping clean packaging, Awesome Metal Detector!

I received my package fast and was excited to get my Ace 300! I went out and did my first dig and I was hooked. I didn't want to stop and went all day at it. My detector seems to work properly and it has been easy to use righy out of the box since I already found my first wheat penny and a couple regular pennies and 2 old bottle caps an old nail and 2 more other metal objects i haven't yet identified. I loved that I know there will be something to find..every time! So much fun..I chose this one over the Ace 200 because it had the numbers and the pinpointer on this machine. The 250 only has icons, no numbers. The 200 only had numbers, yet no pinpointer. Im very happy with my choice and I LOVE MY GARRETT ACE 300 !! Came with headphones, cover for electric box, cover for coil, and booklets. So was a great deal!

Found lost wedding band

Just bought it today and got it delivered just in time before the sun to set. This is my first time using a metal detector, within an hour I found my lost wedding ring in my garden
