Makes me feel like a real chef!
I really like that this torch is so easy to hold while using. I like to buy the premade creme brulees from Costco, all you have to do is melt the sugar mixture on top to create the shell. I like that I can adjust the flame from low to high. It is really easy to refill with the fuel. I also like how you can twist the knob into a locked position.

Light my fire
I recently purchased a pellet grill and I love many facets of cooking on it. I did baby back ribs last week and they came out great. I've done chicken, chicken wings, pork chops and big batch of wings. There's just one problem: There isn't enough smoke to my taste. The pellet grills generally only put out a lot of smoke in the 200-240 degree range - above that and the smoke diminishes. My ribs, cooked at 220, came out fine. The chicken and chops? Not so much. SO I purchased a small smoker tube. The idea is that you put pellets into it, start it with a torch and place it on the grill to add smoke to your cook. I didn't have a mini-flame thrower, so I purchased this. It doesn't come with butane, so I had to buy that locally at Home Depot. But I filled up the torch, turned the small dial on the back end and fired this up. Yikes! You could really cause some trouble with this baby! It starts instantly and has a slider to adjust the flame. I didn't need to make that adjustment - it works fine as it came. I used it last night to start my charcoal chimney I use on my Big Green Egg and it started the small Weber cube starters almost instantly. This torch appears to be well made and should last me for several barbecue seasons, which for me starts every April and ends the following March.

Great blow torch for culinary and painting
This is a great little blow torch with a multitude of uses. We first used it on crème Brule, in which it did an amazing job. Then I used it on some of my paintings to get air bubbles out before drying, and it was great! You can adjust the flame length, and you can press the switch in/down to keep the flame at the same consistent length if you need the flame for a longer period of time. Overall a great item for the lower price. Also very easy to refill.

Good value, easy to fill, works as expected
I have never used a torch or butane before, so this was a new experience. The BS-400 has a good grip and easy to use instructions on the box and stickers on the torch for referral. Since my memory is not that great this detail is helpful. The base is nice for setting down if the tip is hot. The torch was easy to fill once I watched a u-tube video from another company selling these torches. I did not see a link or instructions included in the product I received. Since there are differences in products I would have preferred to have a link given to me with the product. You purchase the butane separately. To fill you need a universal top on the butane nozzle. (It is plastic and about a half inch long) But if you do not have a universal fitting, they have included a small screwdriver to remove the base so you can use a different butane fitting, I did not have to do this, but if I happen to buy a different butane, I would be okay with this torch. I purchased for pouring on canvas and I feel it will work well, it ignited on the first try, after filling. Just a note I don’t know if this company has a torch with a gage on the side but it would be nice to see fuel levels as a window. I am happy with my purchase so far. I have done 2 canvases and still have butane with first fill. It works well for pouring on canvas, as expected.

A FUN Kitchen Gadget!
This is a great asset to my kitchen! I love to make KETO Creme Brulee (AKA Custard). Before I purchased this I was having to broil my finished custard to create the yummy, golden crunchy top. Now after baking, I simply sprinkle my homemade Swerve/Truvia on top and fire away! The top becomes a lovely caramel/crunchy texture. It's super easy!!! NOTE: This does NOT come with the Butane cylindar. LOL! I found that out quickly. Silly me! I told my husband I thought it was defective because it wasn't flaming. Um..... butane gas is very helpful. He picked one up cheap at Walmart, filled the handle of the torch by pressing the tip of the butane cylinder up into the hole at the bottom of the torch handle until full (You will know this when a little liquid begins to drip out from the hole). Wipe it clean and VOILA! Press the black button on the backside of the torch to turn on the flame. You can adjust the size of the flame simply by moving the little lever on the side. LOVE IT!!!

BEST TORCH EVER MADE!!
This is the most reliable go to torch that I have ever had. I have one that stopped working that cost four times the amount of this one and this one works way better. Making creme brûlée with this is a snap and cleaning your tobacco stains and incense stains out of your pipes and your burners couldn't be easier. So, buy the best torch from the best company, TINTEC. Torch on!!!

Easy to fill, easy to use and inexpensive
This little torch far exceeded my expectations for such a low price. Tipped it over and filled it up in about 10-12 seconds and used it to sear some ribs that I cooked in the oven and it worked great. Next came the crème brûlée - again, it worked incredibly! It caramelized the sugar beautifully. I hope it lasts a long time and doesn't give me a reason to change my rating, but so far, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and the value for very little spent. A great performing little torch.
