Great piece of movie history - hand sized

Great little piece of movie history in a little box. Simply ask Zoltan a question and then push the button as to whether the stars align to say yes or no! Multiple kids phrases said and picture is true to item received. Great gift for someone that needs fate’s advice or the person that has everything.

Fast shipping and kids entertained by product

Placed an order yesterday and product arrived the next day in nice packaging as described. Zoltan's "fortunes" are hilarious with a hammy accent. It's basically a Magic Eight Ball in fortune teller form.

LOVE THIS!!!

When I saw this I just had to have it because it reminded me of the movie with Tom Hank's called "BIG". I just loved that movie and this little fortune guy looked so much like the one in the movie! He speaks very clearly and turns his head and voice is kind of like in the movie too! Worth the money for me! A lot of fun to listen to what he has to say.!

Beautifully made

This is beautifully made from painted wood and works well. My wife loves it. Makes a great gift. I know that the FAO Schwartz store has closed, but I hope it continues to make products for sale online.

Really amusing

I really love Zoltan! When I first saw the description of him, I became very curious to find out if he actually did all of the things that he was supposed to do. He does!! It is so amusing and entertaining when you turn him on and he comes to life! The eerie sound effects and his red eyes that light up, and then the way that his head moves from side to side as he speaks, it really adds so much to his actual voice when he gives you his over-the-top answers! The entire look of this little machine is so special. It is a quality product. I put him next to my TV, on the upper shelf of my bookcase. He looks fantastic there.

Zoltan!

This thing is huge! Much larger and heavier than I expected. Great product. It takes a place of honor on my shelf of distracting work toys.

Too Kool!

Three generations here are enjoying having Zoltan as part of our family. Grandma and GrandPa remember the boardwalk fortune telling machines from their childhoods. Adult kids remember the movie "Big" and are big Zoltan fans too. Now, the grandkids get to enjoy Zoltan and here all the family stories about him. This miniture boardwalk fortune telling machine has and continues to bring us much pleasure. Zoltan most recently picked the winners and losers in NFL playoff games. Too much Fun! And such a great bargain! Additionally, it is so detailed and interesting to look at. If you do not have one, buy one. You have no idea what you are missing.

Wonderful Desktop Gadget

Being a huge fan of the Tom Hank's classic 1988 film, BIG, I've always desired to have a desktop sized Zoltar fortune telling machine. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen since there isn't one (though a guy tried to get a Kickstarter build going back in 2013, which looked fantastic, but never reached the monetary goal), so this Zoltan version is the next best thing. The "Zoltar" movie edition was clearly an altered form of the original machine. You can tell what was changed and added to make it different. Those alterations really made it special, so it would be outstanding if FAO Schwartz would take this "Zoltan" model and create a "Zoltar" edition. I'm not going to talk about the details of the gadget since that has been thoroughly covered in other reviews. I will say that those individuals that gave it a low score clearly just got bad copies. Mine is perfect. Works great and looks really nice. Matches the original Zoltan machine in every way. Just Google it and you'll see. Highly recommend this for anyone that is interested.
