Very effective actually, prevent light completely you can't see anything, easy to install, it stick at windows with no glu ,so it won't be any mass when taking it off, that's what I call it a great deal

Easy to use blackout film

Was easy to use and setup. Does the job of blacking out light. I also appreciated the added suggestion of using electrical tape along edges if light still manages to come through. I've also had luck using blue painters tape, followed up with a black permanent marker on wood windowsills to block out light; attached better than electrical tape. Highly recommend.

Great blackout, easy application

Love it! Concerned about the plastic smell I saw on some reviews. When I opened the package yes it really smells. I left it out for a few days before putting it up in our room and no more smell. Super easy to apply, great blackout, just bought another one! Just be sure to cut slightly extra when you cut as mentioned in the instruction, this will allow you to stick the sheet not 120% perfect.

Very sensitive to light

The only bummer is trying to get a straight line...measuring is never right and I even used a level. Over compensated and then cut excess off but left a gap so light comes through. But man oh man what a difference these make

Works amazing!

We have a south facing sun that heats up my house especially in the summer. It also wakes up my kids because the sun is so bright in their rooms. We got this and put them in their windows and now they sleep until 9. I wished I had bought this years ago. All of the sleep that I missed out on. If you have kiddos or even you who wake up with the sun buy this now and you get the sleep that you have been dreaming of. Pun intended.

FULL BLACKNESS

Ok these seriously block ALL THE LIGHT i have two windows and only put this on one because it made my room so dark. I work night shift and this is a life saver. i used electrical tape on the ends, my windows were much wider but i easily just cut out pieces and made them fit! if you need darkness ASAP and don’t have the ability to hang a curtain then BUY THESE!!!!

The REAL DEAL!

This stuff is AWESOME. I purchased 3 products after this one and this is by far the best. The picture I posted is showing this blackout film (bottom) compared to others claiming to be blackout film (top). It blocked the sunlight big time and I was very pleased with it. But two things you should know. It can be a little confusing to figure out how to put it up at first, (tediously peel the plastic from the film) and make sure you buy two rolls to cover an average size window. I made the mistake of only buying one roll and it wasn't enough to cover my entire window! Besides that, this is a great product that I highly recommend!
