Better than I thought it would be

Got this today and I LOVE it! Not sure why I waited to get one. We eat a lot of salads, so we were using a lot of paper towels to dry it. After using the salad spinner, the spring mix was dry. Amazing. I was undecided on which spinner to get until I read about the rubber gripper on the bottom of the bowl. Makes a big difference when spinning because the bowl isn’t sliding all over the place. The bowl can also be used as a serving bowl for the salad.

The hand crank mechanism works much better than the lever or push button spinner because you are able to generate much more momentum to effectively dry the greens. There is a hole in the lid so that you can introduce water to clean the greens, a spout to pour out the water, and then you just spin the greens dry. I have tried several different models and this works the best. It is also BPA free. Very happy with my purchase!

easy to use

A lot of good things happened with this product...easy assembly and cleaning, effective clips to hod the top on, left/right hand operation of the crank, pour spout for drained water, large rubber foot to keep it in place while spinning. Only quibble is that it is light - not fragile - light. That makes the contents (vegetables) during operation the heaviest item and it can get off balance quite easily. Hold it while you're using it.

BEST Purchase I Have Made in a Long Time

The Salad Spinner keeps my salads fresher and crisper for much longer. By drying out the greens, bell peppers, green onions, and mushrooms (to name just a few of the items which I use the Salad Spinner on) the dressings cling better. Before I purchased this I'd use every tea towel in the house and cross my fingers that most of the water on the washed, or sprayed in the grocery store, lettuces and spinach, for example, would be mostly dried. Now they are incredibly dry and my tea towels can be used for other purposes. So much less spoilage! It comes apart quickly, cleans perfectly, and is put back together in an instant. I love mine and it helps me keep my commitment to eating fresh and healthy.

Very Good product

Very good salad spinner- I was hesitant at first as basket seemed fragile and was out of round when I received it. Top is solid an basket took shape after first use. have used enough to say it was worth the price and good value.

Excellent salad spinner

The salad spinner was sturdy and well constructed. It was easy to use and did an excellent job of removing excess water from the salad. It was easy to take apart and put back together after cleaning.

I don’t know how I ever got along without a salad spinner. Your lettuce is so clean and dried so when you use the lettuce it is extra crisp. Love mine.
