Works really well and GREAT support.

I had a laptop I wanted to get rid of but I needed to wipe it clean and get it back to its original condition. It cleaned up all the personal data but it stated that I needed to update the drivers which are on a second disk which I didn't order. I contacted the supplier and they sent me the disk I needed for the drivers. I had about 20 drivers that needed updating and it really brought the laptop up to the "fresh out of the box" status and I didn't have to worry about my data. I was so impressed that I used the driver disk on my desktop and it found a bunch of drivers that needed updating. The only thing I was disappointed in was, I was only able to give him 5 stars in my review because his support was great because he got right back to me and helped me with my problem. I recommend that if someone wants this product to order both disks. They are well worth the money.

Inexpensive tool for troubleshooting and recovery.

I bought this disk to try and recover my failed hard drive. I was unable to recover the crash and was going to buy a new computer but decided first replace the hard drive. I went with an SSD versus a HDD and used this disk to initially boot the system. After that, I downloaded the drivers from HP. Now I have a fast stable all-in-one desk top.

In the Grandpa Simpson never-ending story version, I was literally minutes away from setting this computer out by the curb, just as soon as I could figure out how to take out the hard drive for security purposes. I had not used it in over 3 years due to a bad virus/malware problem - nothing would work properly including rendering network drivers inoperable so I could not connect to internet. My attempts at doing a factory resest were unsuccessful. Anyway, the hard disk came out so easily I started thinking that maybe I could repair this computer myself. So I started researching the cost of purchasing a new hard drive and/or an operating system, but I did not really want to put much money into this computer. Then I saw this Windows 7 Repair & Recovery Disk and I decided to give it a shot, figuring it was worth taking the chance for the cost, and voila, as I said before, it worked like a charm. Wished I would have tried it 3 years ago.

Wow! It worked

I have a ten year old HP laptop which I liked because of it's 17" screen. About a year ago, it started getting very sluggish. So I did the usual. Deleted old programs, music, pictures, docs, etc. I ran anti-Malware, anti-virus software, etc. However, the laptop got to the point where it wouldn't logon properly. I could never get to the power-on password window. I gave up on it and put it up in the closet. I recently put together a nice karaoke system and wanted a laptop to run YouTube karaoke, etc. My old HP laptop would be perfect. I have bought a couple fake Windows 7 recovery USB & downloads that did absolutely nothing. Today, I received your Windows 7 Recovery, Reinstall, Fix DVD I bought on Amazon. Your DVD worked perfectly. Your instructions were very clear too. It was super easy. I'm glad to key hadn't worn off the bottom of laptop. As of right now, my laptop is working like new. If you have been hit by a ransomware attack this will reinstall your Windows os . If you are having problems from too much junk on your computer it will do a repair on your Windows os. Vendor furnishes good support but you will have to be a little tech savvy to run this software. Also you will need a backup on files you have installed on your computer. If you are not having problems with your computer now, be sure to back up your files on a cloud or thumb drive and keep one of these handy. It will save your computer from the hacks out there today.

Easy installation

Worked for what I needed. Instructions and prompts are easy to follow and the installation was fairly fast and painless. Please bear in mind that the disk does not the drivers specific for your PC or laptop, so you will have to download those yourself.

The repair/recovery disc saved my computer and kept me from having to lose all of my work and personal data! I followed the directions on the sheet provided and repaired the startup process for my computer. Thankfully, my computer didn't have any further errors and it was an easy fix with this disc.

Brought my PC back from the Blue screen of Death

My 10 year old HP desktop had been crashing on a regular basis and I was always able to get it up and running again. Then it ''Died' ' The blue screen of death! I wanted to retrieve files and pictures from it. I had little hope since I had tried for weeks to get it to repair and reboot. Then I figured this was worth a try for the price. My old machine is windows 7. I inserted the repair disk and let it do its thing. I was shocked to come back later and see windows up and running. I am sold.. I was able to transfer all my files to the new PC I had replaced it with. That was very important to me. So for me this product was awesome and worked Great. I would have been willing to pay much more just to save my pictures.
