Solid vise

No complaints on this vise, although I expected no less from dewalt! So far I've only been using it Jerry rigged to my half finished work bench but once this sucker is bolted down it should be perfect.

This is a heavy duty vise . Sturdy and worth the little extra cost for the superior quality over other brands I looked at.

This vise saved my day

The vise was delivered as I was working on replacing a lower ball joint on my old civic. I quickly drilled some 3/8 holes in my workbench using the vise as a template. Then I ran up to the hardware store down the street to buy some 3/8-16 nuts, bolts, and washers and bolted the vise down. Took maybe 20 minutes. I was having issues with the ball joint press I was using so I ended up putting the steering knuckle in this vise and beating the crap out of the ball joint with a hammer to get it out. I was hammering on this thing as hard as I could for a while. Finally got the ball joint out. I figured I was gonna break the vise. But the vise didn't break at all. I did get it to turn a little as I was hammering. However, I didn't have the rotation adjustment screw super tight at the time. So because this thing helped save my car repair and didn't break from what I did to it I am pretty happy.

Well Built Bench Vise

Great bench vise and high quality. Keep in my when installing the base as it isn't square on all four corners. Just locate the front and have it swivel counter-clockwise.

Great Heavy Duty Bench Vise

This is a great vise at a great price. I bolted it down to my workbench with 3/8 bolts and washers. I look forward to using it for many years to come.

Very sturdy vice

Great vice. I love the swivel azimuth on this and the clamping power. It seems well built and this is the best price I’ve found online. This is on my workbench and I’ve used it for many things, but the main thing is torquing down gun barrels.
