Really comfortable, well made water sandal
I bought these shoes before I went on a rafting excursion in North Carolina. We weren't allowed to wear open toed shoes or sandals or flip-flops. Most people wear old tennis shoes they don't mind getting wet and smelly. I hate the feel of wet shoes so I began looking for some type of water shoe. I looked at the ones with spaces for individual toes but these were expensive and I didn't see myself wearing these much. My search took me to these shoes. They are great. Obviously you can get them wet but they dry pretty fast. If they become dirty or smelly, you just throw them in the washer and they are clean and fresh smelling. They have the standard Crocs sole and provide a lot of support so you can walk for quite awhile without your feet getting sore. The velcro strap holds tight and more than two year later is showing no signs of wearing out. Just beware that because of the open sides of the shoe this is not a good choice for long walks in sand or in areas where there is a lot of gravel. When I walk on our street often a pebble or small rock kicks up into the shoe and gets between my foot and the shoe and its uncomfortable. I don't fault the shoe for the makers for this, that's the nature of the design and you should expect this if you buy it. I plan on buying another pair and putting them away for when the ones I do have wear out...if they wear out.

BIG GUYS GET THEM QUICK before you are the guy wearing slippers and not shoes.
Big men looking for a great shoe that fits WIDE feet? These are the ones to get. Buy fast because, if you don't YOU will be the 1 gathering everybody's foot fungus at the water parks. I have searched and returned so many of these tight, short, and girlish shoes that I was just about to give up. I wear a 14 wide but got these in a 15, just in case they ran small. They do not. I have the extra room in the front, but all the easier for water to drain out. I got my son who wears a 13W a 13M and they fit perfectly. Big Boys get them quickly, the prices are already starting to increase now that Spring is quickly approaching.

I really Like these Crocs! I ordered them for a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters and I believe they are going to be perfect. They are very light and yet have a thick sole for portaging. The sole also seems to be a bit stiffer than traditional Crocs soles. The material is thin and breathable and I expect it will dry as quickly as any other fast drying garment. I particularly like they way they seem to stay on my feet. One of the problems I have had on this trip in the past is that my foot ware tends to come off when I try to get unstuck from the moose muck. In the past I have worn the traditionally styled "Off Road" with the Velcro adjustable strap on the back to tighten them on securely. While I have never lost a shoe as a result, I have come close. These things are really form fitting in the size I got and I can't wait to try them out. If I find out differently in the field I will update this review. A word about sizing; I don't like a tight fitting shoe and normally wear a 10D. I ordered a pair of these in 10D and they seemed just a little sloppy when I tried them on. I think they would have been fine for day to day wear but I was concerned about hiking the portages with a 60 pound pack and a canoe on my back that there was a little too much play in them. After some debate I exchanged them for a pair of 9D. (they didn't offer them in half sizes). What a great decision! The size 9 fits like a glove. And while the fit is snug, it is still very comfortable. My foot does not move at all on the bed when climbing stairs or walking. I am certain these will be the perfect shoe for this type of trek. I can not speak to how they last at this point but the do seem to be very well made. The stitching is solid and the Velcro patch that attaches them in the front is very large and not likely to come undone because of use. I can't wait to try them out in the field! UPDATE... I have had these for a couple of weeks now and LOVE these Crocs! Went to Lake Erie this past weekend and found out they make great boat shoes. spent about 2 hours on a 27 foot fiberglass fishing boat with wet decks and gunwales and not even close to a slip the entire time. Also spent half of that day walking around South Bass Island in 90 degree humid, rainy weather and they were more comfy than running shoes. These are much cooler than traditional Crocs and while they don't dry quite as fast, my feet don't sweat in them and I don't find them at all uncomfortable at all when they are wet. I also weighed them on my kitchen scales in response to an Amazon question and they weighed in at just over 14oz for the pair.

Solid and cost effective choice for all water sports!
I first heard of these from a kayak and canoe tripping you tuber I follow. He spoke frequently about their comfort, quality and ability to quickly dry. I just received them today and have worn them around the house for a few hours and will confirm they are comfortable and appear to be built with the expected quality of the Crocs brand. First, I wear a 11.5W and ordered a size 12 - they fit great! I have toe wiggle room and the width I need yet they are supportive enough to feel good about an occasional portage and/or walking around a rocky campsite. They have more arch support than I've experienced in any closed-toe water sandal of any kind - and I've gone through a couple pair of Keen's, a pair of Merrell's and a couple pair of lesser quality name brands I care not to name. These have an adjustable over-ankle strap to which allows you to dial in different levels of comfort and support. They have some texture on the footbed which is oddly comfortable and a good tread which I suspect will serve me well on slippery surfaces. I paid $28 while Crocs site and Shoe Carnival and other onliners had them from $44 - $49. Granted I've only had them on for a few hours around the house but I believe these to be a great value even if paying in the $40's!

Qulaity Water Sandal - EXCELLENT price through Amazon (buy 1 size smaller)
I was at Bass Pro Shops the other day looking at various items and noticed these Water Sandals from Crock. I wear a size 9 (wide) and the size 8 was a perfect fit. Only problem was the price. $59,95... not on sale, with tax would have cost me $65.20 out the door... so I passed. Surfed the web and found these on Amazon for less than $32 - no tax - shipping included. That is more than HALF the price had I purchased at Bass Pro. Glad I tried on since had I ordered the size 9 from Amazon, it would have been too loose fitting. Arrived from Amazon in the factory shoe box with original packing and tags. Love these sandals - quality made (nice stitching), easy in and out with single velcro top strap, and very comfortable walking around. Time will tell how they do wearing at the beach and in the water, but so far so good. Keep up the good work AMAZON - you saved me $33!

Better than expected
Wow! I bought these for kayaking to use as water shoes. They are so comfortable I wear them all the time. Best of all, my kids think they are ugly so I get to aggravate my kids at the same time. Nice.

NICE LOOKING, my previous Crocs brought me back.....
Ordered the size 9, and it fit my D-E width 8.5 foot very comfortably, and my wife thinks the style is pretty good looking. We travel a lot in Asia (we have kids working in Hong Kong) and I hope these will hold up in the high humidity and temperatures. It is important to me that sandals I buy will dry rapidly and not shrink in the frequent spring and summer downpours. I absolutely loved my only previous Crocs, the "Yukon Sport Clogs", and I still wear them (I even polish their upper leathers for just a little color touch-up), but they are definitely looking a bit aged. These new Swiftwaters were "ordered" by my wife....lol.... Hope these will serve me as well as the Yukon Sports have.

BIG FEET?? READ THIS!
Let me begin with this.... These are my first pair of Crocs ever. I now understand what all the fuss is about. I'm a big guy at 6'6, roughly 300 pounds, and a solid shoe size of 14 EE in 99% of the boots/shoes out there. Before making this purchase, I came across a review here from another man that is a size 14 advising others to step down a size. I'm truly glad I saw that review, I rolled the dice and ordered a size 13 on his recommendations. The fit is perfect in a 13!! I AM very impressed with the fit, the feel, the cushion, and the support. After getting them in I decided to do a mile and a half around my neighborhood. They didn't slip, wiggle, rub, or hot spot. What they did do is feel incredible! Get a pair, you won't be disappointed! ** Side Note I ordered these to be "in camp shoes" for an upcoming backpack trip. If they so much as a pound combined, I'll eat my shorts.

Don't let the brand name turn you away.
I was super skeptical about buying these. How could the same company that makes those hideous rubber shoes with holes possibly make a decent sandal? And for 40 bucks? I'm a believer now. They are amazingly comfortable after a couple of months of breaking them in. The fit is superb, and the soles are THICK, which I appreciate because it's the part of sandals I wear out the quickest. I am also very flat footed, weigh 240, and these do not make my feet hurt after hours of wearing them. How is this possible? The straps use some sort of micro Velcro that grips well without taking a ton of force to remove or attracting a ton of lint. I also appreciate the heavy rubber closed toe as I tend to do a lot of work in these and stub my toes a lot. They're no steel toes, but still provide good protection. As someone who wears only sandals from May-September, I take my sandals fairly seriously. I would recommend these to anyone. If these end up being durable (lasting 2-3 summer seasons), I'll only buy sandals from Crocs for the rest of my life. I'll try and update my review if they fall apart before then.

Great shoes
These are super comfortable. They run large size wise but I knew that when I ordered and was able to get a great fit. These shoes have amazing traction also which honestly surprised me, but will definitely come in handy during my upcoming vacation.
