I have lots of knives and spend lots of time sharpening and keeping them in their respective little knife blocks. This knife is the best thing since canned beer. Handy, sharp, nice sheath and really, really cheap to buy. I recommend every man in America buy one and give it to your wife or Squeeze as a "I love you" gift. Don't be stupid and do it for a special occasion or it may be used on you. Super little knife at a reasonable price, I think I have 5.

Good Sharp Knife

A nice quality ceramic knife. I have a white ceramic knife I use for fresh veggies to stave off browning, and really appreciate the fine edge that needs no sharpening. Having a good sharp bread knife on hand is a bonus, as I make most of my own baked goods due to a gluten allergy.

Serrations make cutting a bagel easy

The shell like exterior makes slicing bagels a bit difficult and a bit dangerous. I like a knife with large serrations to insure the blade cuts the crust without slipping up to my hand. This does that and then glides thru. Nice on other items but particularly for bagels.
