Snores McGhee
The little purple plug. Highest decibel rating you can get without a trip to the ENT. Both my husband and my dog snore like locomotives. Literally, I can feel the vibration on my pillow at night. It's as close to quiet as I'll ever get without a divorce.

Good noise reduction, and comfortable enough to wear them all night.
I needed earplugs due to noisy neighbors. I tried different ones (including Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs, Flents Quiet Please, and some Hearos earplugs), but the Drift to Sleep are definitely the best so far. The Flents appealed to me because they are shorter, and I sleep on my side, so I figured they would be more comfortable, and I was wondering if the Drift to Sleep might be too long - but in reality, their length is not a problem at all. In fact, they are the most comfortable earplugs I have tried so far. With other earplugs, my ear canals would hurt in the mornings, but not with the Drift to Sleep. All else being equal, if you make earplugs shorter, you have to make them more dense in order to achieve the same level of noise reduction - and making them more dense increases their firmness, which makes them less comfortable. The Drift to Sleep strike a perfect balance. The level of noise reduction is excellent for my situation, that is, to block out the noise from upstairs neighbors who occasionally drop things on the hardwood floor. Normally, this would wake me up every time, but with the Drift to Sleep I don't hear this noise anymore - and in the rare event that I do hear something, it's so soft and distant that it doesn't bother me at all. But I can still hear my alarm clock in the mornings. Perfect. A little side tip for you: I use an iPhone app called "Progressive Alarm Clock" (by Spotlight Six Software) - you can choose from different Tibetan singing bowls, and the app wakes you up gently: it starts out very soft and then gradually gets louder and more frequent. There are a number of different patterns you can choose from. And for peace of mind, it has a "sure wake" feature that is pretty much guaranteed to wake you up if everything else didn't. Check the app out, it's great. So much better than the usual alarm clocks that give you a heart attack. (By the way, I am not affiliated with the developers in any way. Just a happy user.) Can you get cheaper earplugs than the Drift to Sleep? Sure. But these work great and are very comfortable - I don't know about you, but that's worth it to me. And let me tell you: you can easily use them for multiple days. I've tried it. They remain comfortable, and the noise reduction remains the same. I recommend you try them out and see for yourself. I haven't looked back since I've discovered the Drift to Sleep. One last thing: I could have sworn that when I bought these (on 3/17/2016), the Amazon listing said they have a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 29 dB. Because I remember thinking to myself "Hm, they have a different shape and length than the Flents Quiet Please, yet they have the same NRR. I wonder how they compare in terms of comfort of wearing." - the box they came in and the package insert don't specify the NRR, so I can't verify that they have a NRR of 29 dB. Maybe I'm wrong. But I noticed that one of the images on the Amazon listing now says they have a NRR of 33 dB. Now, if I am NOT wrong, and they DID have a NRR of 29 dB, and now they have changed the earplugs to bring them to a NRR of 33 dB, then obviously I can't tell you if this has changed anything about how comfortable they are. Mine are great, that's all I can say. I hope this review was helpful!

I had purchased another brand that promised to be very soft and comfortable, and said was made for small ear canals
My husband snores and makes all sorts of noises when sleeping. My last resort is to try ear plugs. I had purchased another brand that promised to be very soft and comfortable, and said was made for small ear canals. And every freaking night I was struggling to get them in my ears. I have wonky ear canals, small and curvy, and nothing fits in them. Can't wear any ear buds, blue tooth, nothing. And those other ear plugs were garbage. Then I figured I'd try these, they had decent reviews, and I was swayed by the color to be honest. The first night I tried them they went right in. To both ears!! Nothing short of a miracle in my recent experience. And they worked even better than the others, probably because they fit better. I can't hear a thing! It's so great! And every night since I've had the same results: they go right in, first try, stay in all night, super comfortable, and I barely notice them in, except for the sweet sound of silence. Love them. Will definitely purchase again.

Best Earplugs . . . Ever
I've been searching for a comfortable earplug for about five years. Have purchased and tried out at least 6 different brands and types. Nothing worked well for more than a night or two, if that. I wasn't in a position to give up because I need them to sleep through noise so I tried these. They work beautifully, shutting out the noise of snoring, slamming doors, dumpster trucks, cats who want breakfast, etc. They're comfortable. I've used them for two weeks now with no complaints - only praise. They're easy to put into the ear and to remove, and unlike all the others, they slide right into the ear canal and are still comfortable once they expand. I've found that five or six uses with each plug works just fine. I wouldn't be without them.

Trying to sleep with a snorer?
I have a loud snoring husband that I love but I spent at least a year on the sofa because of it. I've tried MANY kinds of earplugs. Some were better than others, but I could always hear the snoring. These are great! They don't even make my ears sore like some of the other kinds do. And they are so easy to put in properly so they don't fall out during the night. I'm happy to be back in my own bed again!

So Pleased!
I have tried many earplug. Many. Cheap and expensive. These are my favorite so far! They are great. There is no weird crackling noise as they are settling into your ears. There is no weird superglue feeling when you go to take them out in the morning. Additionally, they work wonderfully to block noise: dog barking, flu cough, video gaming, doorbell, etc. I’m very pleased. I sleep with these and sleep so much better! I also don’t get ear canal irritation like I have with some other brands and I have used a few pairs multiple nights in a row.

Best ever (and I've tried them all!)
These little guys were a lifesaver on a recent red-eye from Honolulu to Phoenix. A screaming baby a few rows back threatened everyone's sleep, but I popped these ear plugs in and was able to, as the brand says, "drift to sleep." I am a very light sleeper and have been wearing ear plugs for years, and I must say for whatever reason, these are by far the most comfortable I have ever used. Not sure if the material is different or what, but I don't get the ache in my ears that some earplugs will give me after a while. Very comfortable and does the job well. I'm a believer!

Most comfortable I've found!
I've used earplugs off and on for many years, but just recently moved to a busy road with a train crossing about 1/3 mile away and now need them every night. These are the 4th brand of ear plugs I have tried. (Others were purchased at grocery stores.) I'm a side sleeper, so all other brands, including one that was women specific, was really uncomfortable if I tried to sleep on my side. But these are very comfortable and also good at blocking the majority of the sound. Make sure to read the instructions and hold them in your ear long enough so they set correctly!

Dead to the world
The first time I put these in, I was actually scared at how little I could hear. I could barely hear myself breathe! My boyfriend is a light snorer and this completely cuts it off. Morning birds are the same. I also live near an airport and I can't hear the planes in the morning. I can't vouch for anything heavier than that, but it's perfect for me. I plan on taking these to a camping music festival later in the year, so we'll see if they let me sleep through the night. They are just a bit comfier than your run of the mill ear plugs. The foam is thicker, which may cause some minor pressure in the ear, but they feel soft. They sit deep enough in the ear that I do not press on them when I sleep on my side. Overall, a great buy for the price.

So helpful!
After complaining about husband's snoring making sleep difficult, a friend recommended this product to me and I am grateful that she did! I have used these ear plugs for several weeks now and can't imagine ever doing without them. It took me a few nights to learn how to get them inserted properly (read the literature that is enclosed with them) but they truly muffle the sound. I feel more rested when I get up in the morning since using these ear plugs.
