This was a great buy! Makes rice beautifully tho it does take about the same amt if time. I'm fine with that because I don't have to watch it or worry. Just put it in the microwave and work on whatever else. It's a nice thick pastic that has a little bit of weight in it. Much nicer that what I thought it was going to be based on the price. The little bowl that comes with it is pretty awesome too. Used it almost every day since I got it for work lunch. Great buy, definitely recommend!

pretty good item

i wanted somethign simple to cook rice. I can put this in the microwave (2-1 water-rice), for about 15 minutes and im good to go. would recommend to anyone wanting a rice steamer. only for plain rice, no flavors can be added when cooking, and rinse the rice out before microwaving.

Fantastic Microwave Steamer Kit

We've used this product for a while and love the easy clean up and large capacity of bigger bowl. Having the smaller bowl for nights there is only 1 or 2 of us is handy. Love the way rice & veggies turn out being cooked in these containers.

Why didn't I order this sooner!

Sturdy. Easy to use. Easy to clean - food just rinses away! Cooks just about anything. You can steam things in water or in broth or any other liquid. Cooking is definitely NOT my forte, but this makes healthy eating EASY!
