Maybe I got lucky but this cheap little hole puncher works great for me. I use it not only on thinner paper but also cardboard. And thick greetingcards and "to/from" gift notes so I can then put thread through and tie them to gifts. So far so good. Very clear hole lined, I also like that it collects the holes it punches out in the lower compartment, so no mess left behind. Gently push down on it (you only need to pry it open a bit to empty all the punch-outs). First time I pushed it out so hard, that little compartment flew off, haha. BUT I was able to easily pop it back in, and it works as if it never happened, I just go easy on prying it open. Basically inexpensive tool for crafts. And even if it breaks on me down the line, considering it barely cost me anything, I'm just happy it helped me deal with all my Christmas gifting, notes and cards at the end of this year.

Some punches cause the paper to catch on the punch, making it hard to get the paper out. This punch has an added "lip" that will push the paper off the punch after punching the hole.

Opened it up and it worked. Used it on 3 thick business cards at one time and then a thin sheet of paper. Worked perfectly every time. Used it about 200 times and still working fine. Still have a second one in the box yet!

They are nice and solid and not cheap at all. They have a nice durability to them and it’s easy to squeeze. I hate having to use extreme force to get a hole punch to punch a hole. These are super easy to punch holes with

This is a great product for the price. I didn't have time to go look for one with multiple homeschooling children. I was nervous this wouldn't be a tough product but punched through laminated cardstock like a champ!

This works just fine! A nice, normal, one-hole punch that catches the little holes in the little catcher-thingy and makes smooth, nice cuts. Exactly what I needed for my crafting!

I love this hole punch it works great on thick or regular paper ..I used it to punch holes in hello fresh /blue apron menus to then put them in binder ...great purchase;)

It's the traditional hole puncher. I got it for my 6-year old but she wasn't strong enough to push completely through; but otherwise this product arrived on time and packaged as expected.

It's a sturdy hole puncher, works great! I've been using it for laminated cards and strong enough for it so far. Does the job, what's not to like?

My biggest concern was whether or not it actually punched 5 sheets at a time. I used sticky note paper, which is a little thicker than printer paper, and I was happy to find that it does indeed punch through 5 sheets at a time. This will work nicely for what I need it for.
