I just received this yesterday and I was surprised to see it in a large package! I was pleasantly surprised to know that it was packed with two boxes just so that it wouldn't be damaged. Upon first impression, it looks so cute and just like the pictures. It isn't too heavy and the white luggage aesthetic definitely adds some bonus points. I initially didn't plug anything and simply turned it on because it had 'battery' left as you can charge this record player. Because I didn't have any vinyl's on hand - I can't say anything about how the actual player works but I did try to connect my phone via bluetooth. **to connect my phone with bluetooth I did have to plug the record player to an outlet. I don't know why but that's simply how things worked for me. The sound it produces does slightly remind me of a record player but idk if that's just my mind playing tricks on me - but the sound quality is great and the speakers can go up to a very high volume!! overall, you get what you pay for and I would recommend this to anyone that is interested - worth the investment !!

Do you have records collecting dust? Well I did and decided to try out the JORLAI turn table to put them to use. I remember playing records when I was young but with the modern era of digital many of the youths today miss out on the classic sound of a record player. The JORLAI help bring back the memories with some modern twists. The record player comes with speakers but they will not blow you away but produce a decent sound nd comes with a chargeable battery to make unit very portable. In fact my daughter's are taking it to college with them! Another modern twist is that it has Bluetooth that allows you to stream it to an external Bluetooth speaker. You can also connect it to a PC and record the songs to a digital file. one thing I noticed is that the Bluetooth switch can be tough to switch. but otherwise I am very happy with the player and it allows me to play all my old records.

Although most people listen to music via mp3 or streaming these days, records have yet to go extinct. There's the nostalgia component that keep people holding onto their records, my parents included. They were contemplating donating their record collection because their record player no longer works. They have a vast collection and I thought it would be a shame for them to give up their collection just because they didn't have a record player to play them. As luck would have it, I came across this modern record player made by Jorlai. After playing around with it with my parents for the past few days, here are the pros and cons that I've come across... Pros: - universal record player in the sense that it plays records of different sizes and at different speeds - embedded bluetooth speakers are very impressive - sound quality was very good coming from the player itself and with bluetooth connectivity, you can connect the player to external/portable/wireless speakers if you wish. Also comes with RCA outputs and headphone jack. - comes with an extra needle - comes with software on CD that allows you to convert your records to mp3 files for safekeeping and/or to play on your computer or portable audio player - player has a rechargeable lithium battery within it or you can plug it in with the provided AC adapter. - comes with a drop lever that slowly drops the needle (or you can do it by hand) and record player automatically begins once needle is lifted - compact and portable with a briefcase setup and relatively light in weight Cons: - PU leather gives off a chemical smell. However, it has been dissipating with time. I recommended airing the player out first and then it won't be a problem. Overall, I'm really impressed by this product. For $50, you get a modern record player with bluetooth connectivity that has the capability to play a variety of records from the past. The sound quality is excellent and now my parents can hold on to their cherished record collection. I highly recommend this product!

I have used this player and tested it on many vinyl records. Here is what I like about it: — very practical, light and portable especially as it is designed like a small suitcase with a handle. — comes with an additional needle! — plays all 3 RPM speeds of vinyls 33, 45 & 78. Some players only play 2 speeds while this one also plays 78 RPM records. — has an adapter for playing 45 RPM vinyls (see my posted photo). — has Bluetooth. You can play Bluetooth connected devices through this players speakers. This player does not connect to anything and play via Bluetooth. It connects to any other device via wires/cables such as RCA. — has a chargeable built in battery so once charged you can play it anywhere on its own for several hours with no power outlets or power cord needed! — it can convert vinyls to mp3. Do not expect audiophile quality from this player or its speakers as this is not meant for that. Nobody in their right mind would want to take their expensive high-end vinyl player on a picnic and those certainly do not come with their own speakers, chargeable battery, Bluetooth etc. This player is GREAT for what it was designed to do: provide a nice player that plays it all, helps convert and save vinyls digitally as mp3s, is practical, potable and can play by itself without the need for any other device like amplifiers/receivers.

This turntable should not be this good for this price, but it is and then some. This was purchased with the lowest of expectations due to the very inexpensive price. However, much higher expectations could have been set and met or surpassed. It does everything as advertised. The little speakers that are part of the turntable are indeed cheap and sound like a 50's portable record player. To be expected for this price. No surprise. But run the output through a stereo surround amplifier system and be prepared to be quite surprised. Very nice sound. I'm not an audiophile so for me the performance is quite impressive. But, converting a vinyl to MP3 format, was quite the challenge. It should not have been. Audacity, an opensource freeware copy was provided as advertised. Three or four getting started directions should have been included. Like when the turntable output is input to a computer with the Audacity running, click on the little red button in the Audacity controls for recording to begin. Then let the customer know that another file must be located and downloaded for the Audacity to convert the raw recording to an MP3. By the way, why not include that file with the Audacity? Probably should knock off a star or two for that oversight. But this turntable does do exactly what was wanted.

This is my first vinyl player I bought and the first time I have ever used one. It can play vinyl records and transfer them to digital music files. It is very useful player and the sound quality is smooth. I like the style and it plays old and new vinyl records very well. If you are looking for a quality record player to get you started in listening to vinyl, I highly recommend this product.

This record player was packaged well. This looks nice and compact. It is a nice decorative item and also very functional. It is designed as a suitcase so it folds and can be moved easily. Bluetooth connectivity is a great plus. We have an older record player without bluetooth capability and I can say that the bluetooth feature is a great plus. No more wires needed if you want to play from you modern devices. It connected easily to our phones. The speakers give a decent sound. I would highly recommend this item.

This is a terrific product - I've never owned a turntable, but used my parents' as a kid. I didn't expect that I could get one so affordably. The turntable arrived with prime shipping, well packaged. The lid is plastic and maybe the cheapest component of the device. The wood exterior is very attractive as is the blue light on the on button. I liked all the output options on the back -- from connecting to home speakers to connecting to a computer to record music (I'm not sure I'll be using that but its great to know I could...) The speakers that come with the turntable will fill a small to medium room well. I suspect connecting to a stereo would be the best way to hear the sound but I'm perfectly happy with the simplicity of what I'm hearing now. For anyone that wonders why a record player would be a good idea -- there is a simple satisfaction in finding the notch on the vinyl record where there is a pause between songs and knowing just where you want to play from. And the moving parts and spinning record change the way one can experience their favorite music. Nostalgia, but also reverence for the recorded sound. I was impressed with the auto-stop feature, and the extra needle included. All cords are packaged. There is nothing you'll need except to ensure you have a record on hand right away to enjoy.
