The booklet it comes with doesn't have recipes that are that easy to use for first time users.

Just got this bread machine a few days ago, went to the store to buy the supplies to make our first loaf of bread, this evening I made our family a honey whole wheat 2 pound loaf. It is the first time ever using a bread machine and our kids first time eating fresh baked bread. It was delicious! They told me I most definitely have to make more tomorrow. I'm going to try yeast bread next. Hopefully I'll get a photo next time before the bread is gone.

Super efficient and makes great bread!

Ideal breadmaker for 2 people. I am a personal trainer and use this breadmaker every 3 or 4 days to make a loaf of bread for me and my wife. I started out with a Norwegian recipe and have modified it to make a super healthy loaf of bread loaded with seeds and goodies. What used to take me a couple of hours from start to finish using the oven now only takes minutes. I typically start in the morning before work and add my ingredients taking less than 10 minutes and the bread is ready when we get home. The machine is quiet, easy to clean, easy to use...what more can I say? And the price was very reasonable. Great value!

LOVE this machine!

I have wanted a bread machine for a long time.. years! But I was nervous about investing in one and then it not being all that I wanted it to be... well, this machine is all that I wanted it to be. To tell the truth, I am mad at myself for taking so long to buy a bread machine because this machine is SOOOO easy to use. I've had it for about a month now and have been making one to two 1-lb loaves a week. I was following the recipes to the T by adding ingredients in a specific order and then one night I was in a rush to get the bread going so I could go to be and I took my friend's advice for making bread and just added everything in at once and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, the bread was perfect as she always told me it was when she threw everything in to run over night. I love this machine even more now. You will read lots of reviews about taking the paddle out or not and you can do either. I leave the paddle in and the hole that it leaves is so small - it is not a big deal at all. Last thing I wanted to share.. easy to clean. Nothing really sticks to it so a light soapy water and rinse cleans it every time. This machine has changed my life and is well worth the investment.

This machine saves time and energy.

This KBS bread machine is rapid and effortless for me to produce fresh bread for my family. Instead of making everything with my hand, this machine does it for me. I just have to add in the ingredients, press a few buttons and this machine will bake the bread! The bread comes out very soft and appetizing. It also allows me to keep the bread warm up to one hour which is great，in case my family wants more bread, they would have it fresh and warm in this machine. Not only is it beneficial when it comes to making my bread, I can also make yogurt, pork，jams and other dishes. This machine has saved me a lot of time and energy in the kitchen.

I bought this model because I mostly use the dough setting for making pizza dough or baguettes and didn’t want to invest in a high-end machine. After using the bread machine for several months I can say that it does a good job. If I decide to use the bake function I take the dough out, remove the paddle and after kneading it a few times I put the dough back and finish baking. This solves the problem with a hole in the baked loaf (which happens with any bread machine) and I will do this with any bread machine I buy in the future. I like the yogurt feature and it works well. I have contacted the seller twice and received answers very quickly. I have been sent a much improved and reworded manual. This company is very concerned with customer service and satisfaction and quickly responds to emails. That’s a big plus in my opinion.

Makes a Wonderful crust!

I was looking for a replacement for my old Sunbeam that is sounding like it's on its last leg. After reading many many reviews, including the Amazon reviews (thanks all), I decided on the KBS and am so glad I did. My first loaf came out perfect (I used my old stand by recipe for whole wheat, which is very similar to the one in the little KBS instruction book) The ceramic lining in the bread pan makes a wonderful crispy crust! I must have a gotten a revised instruction book because I didn't find it to be at all difficult to understand. There were a few places where the English was a little odd, but not a big deal. Other than being digital, the controls are similar to my old Sunbeam and simple to understand. As others have pointed out, the light on the display does go out after after a few minutes and you can't see the display, but if you just touch the minus sign it lights back up and doesn't interfere with the operation of the machine. I like the display! It tells you where you are in the process and how much time is left until the bread is ready. The look is sleek and modern! There are 2 small negatives (1) the heating element is exposed and could be damaged if you're not careful putting the bread pan in place. Having said that, it may be that the exposed element gives more even heat. (2) the mixing paddle is open at the top, which allows the ingredients to get inside and then when the bread is done, the paddle doesn't release and it takes a bit of tapping to free the loaf from the paddle. A little Olive oil inside the paddle might help. I would buy the KBS again!

Great machine!

It is my the first bread machine. It has been working well. I tried to make French bread with little twist: I used milk and heavy cream instead of water and milk powder - it’s taste so good.

I absolutely love this product! I love the fact that I can have fresh , homemade bread with just the touch of a few buttons I can relax and it literally bakes itself. more than just a bread maker it serves many purposes. It's not very big and bulky so it doesn't take up too much space. The cleanup process is very easy and doesn't have a lot of parts. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great quality product!

Wonderful product

Can I just say that this bread maker is absolutely amazing. I’ve used it twice already, and the results are out of this world. In my opinion, it tastes even better than those made in profesional bakeries. Not to mention that it was super convenient to use. Nearly everything except for preparing the ingredients is automated, which made my work so much easier. A lot of options as well meaning a variety of possible outcomes. Overall, this is probably my favorite product that I’ve bought so far off of Amazon; my wife and son loves it as well!
