I live in Southern California; one of my 4 children lives 20 miles away and has 2 of my young grandchildren, but all other family members live in Northern California, North Carolina, and Nebraska. I purchased 6, one for each family unit and just did a video phone call with one daughter and grandchild. Much easier and more fun than FaceTime. Also have been listening to music and it is nice seeing album that it is coming from. Just started working on photo sharing. By Thanksgiving, we should all be connected well. The larger screen, hands free is great.

I love the larger screen!

Our daughter is studying overseas so Alexa is how we visit with her. We just bought the new Echo with the larger screen to make the visits even more enjoyable with the larger view. The Echo is a great portal for home automation too. It integrates seamlessly with almost all of the varying home automation products that I've accumulated. Christmas lights are now a breeze with "Alexa, turn on the outside Christmas lights" and they are all one without running all around the house. If only Amazon would dump BIng and team up with Google -- then Alexa's brain would be complete. (I have Google Home devices too for when I need answers. Alexa doesn't handle that nearly as well. Sorry Alexa... )

Made a big difference using this stand.

I won’t go without this stand for the new Amazon Show. Made watching anything on Prime or my news briefs a better experience. I highly recommend.

High quality and useful

I got this because I didn't like how much of the ceiling was in the image when doing video calls. The stand is high quality, and it was very easy to attach to the Echo Show. Tilt is very smooth. Another added benefit is that you can neatly tuck away any extra power cord underneath the Echo Show. At first I was wanting a white stand, which isn't currently available, but the black one actually looks great on the white (Sandstone) Echo Show since the bezel around the screen in black.

Great Accessory for the 2nd Gen Echo Show

This works well with the 2nd Gen Echo Show, it was a product that was very much needed for the first generation Show, but they never made. This is great for if your Show is up higher and you need to angle it down a little to see the screen well. It is also nice if you just want your Show to be up slightly higher and don’t want to stack things under it. Very easy to install and uninstall. Overall I’m very satisfied with the stand.

These stands are wonderful! I should have gotten them sooner

These stands are wonderful! I should have gotten them sooner. Without the stand the camera points at the ceiling making communication or checking in difficult. These solve that problem and really should just be included in the original box!

Works fine as advertised. Is not adjustable from side to side but is elevated about 2 inches and can be pushed for different back and forth angles.

Almost a requirement to have...

It really sucks that this is an add on product sold separately. Just another way for amazon to make another 30 bucks. This really should have been included with a purchase of an amazon show second generation
