Lots of power in a small space
For a fan under $30, you cannot go wrong with the ratcheted tilt and 'tornado' form of this floor fan. At first, I thought that it was going to be very disappointing because the frame seems to make up the bulk of the fan, at least when compared to the size of the blades, but make no mistake, this fan has power to spare and is surprisingly quiet. At the first setting, it creates a nice breeze while making no more noise than your average computer while at the highest setting, it will provide a strong wind that can be felt some 15 feet away or blow up your shirt for some fast sweat busting relief. Disassembly to apply electronic lube when the motor gets dirty seems fairly straightforward and the motor itself is designed cleverly to prevent a lot of debris build up, which is especially helpful if you use this fan as a register booster like we do. If you have floor vents, this will easily pull up air for more efficient ac cooling on the second floor of a house. How this fan performs in the long term will require revisiting but for now, very happy with our purchase. Great value for the price.

Love it, just like a Vornado
I returned a Vornado fan that is similar in size as this fan for various reasons, and this fan performs the same but at a lower cost. I highly recommend it. I am sure the mechanism to angle it will eventually break like the Honeywell fans, but I will just buy a new one when that happens. I wish they would just use the easier design where you tighten a knob to angle and lock it in place. It is very quiet, and even on the medium and high setting it doesn't have as much as a loud fan noise as other fans. When paired with a space heater it actually fills the area with heat. I am very happy with this purchase.

Moves a lot of air for its size
We use it in the bedroom for cooling purposes along with out central AC. It replaced a "white noise" fan which did not fit on the dresser as well as this more compact fan. I have only used it on the low setting. Along with the Lectrofan (for white noise) It is a perfect companion. Don't buy it for white noise, the Lectrofan is perfect for that purpose.

Does what it's supposed to do.
Not the strongest fan, even on high. But still, it does a decent job and is inexpensive. Not too loud either. The switch is reversed from most other fans with high being the 3rd position instead of the 1st. This actually makes more sense.

Powerful
It is powerful. I have it in my bedroom and it really does cool the room. I am so happy I received something that works so well at such a good price.

Happy that I bought this fan!
I like everything about this fan! It works very good. Much quieter than my fans, and performs better than any of my other fans, which is great because my other fans are larger and have bigger blades! It feels great when something you order works better than you expected!

Efficient and POWERFUL
Fan arrived in good condition. Looks like a Honeywell HT908 But has the blades and motor power of a Vornado. It is a good mid-size, and can do well on a table or on the floor: the sound level is decent on level 2 and level 1 is very quiet. Level 3 is loud but delivers a nice focused gust of air. I have it blowing at a wall above my sofa and it’s definitely circulating air. I can feel a general airiness in my space. My plants are moving around so that’s a sign air is moving for me. Excited to use this as a way to get my air conditioner air traveling the room more evenly. I’m also pretty impressed by the build. All plastic but doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. For ~26$ You’re getting a solid air circulator with a 55watt PSC motor. Something you don’t usually see in this price range. Can’t decide on the budget friendly but cheaply made Honeywell or the robust quality yet pricey Vornado? AmazonBasics is your best of both worlds. UPDATE [ONE MONTH]: The fan still runs awesome. The heat has significantly gone up this week, and I find that this fan on high while my A/C is on distributes the cool air more evenly around my bedroom than when I have my ceiling fan on. I notice a cooler feeling faster and at a larger area. On high I can see my floor lamp shaking slightly, my hanging plant swaying, and my other tapestry waving as air travels throughout my 144 sq ft room. This fan is no joke I’ll even see my ceiling fan’s blades being pushed by the air slightly while it’s off. Crazy because the fan isn’t even pointed that direction. idk the CFM ratings for the speeds but it seems sufficient for my room size.

A fan of this fan!!
Every Amazon Basics product I have purchased has been wonderful, including this fan. I bought this fan to help dry up a flooded basement and it did the job. Very quite and works right out of the box. I also love how Amazon didn't produce this with a unneeded inner box. Thank you Amazon Basics.

Great little fan!
We use this for air circulation and ambient noise in our sons' room. We loved it so much, we're considering replacing all our larger fans with Amazon basics.
