One chord and done!

I do our home electronics. Think of the excitement - one chord and the TV and DVD player were hooked up together and working correctly in 10 min. I should have bought a new DVD/HD blue Ray years ago. NOTE: Other reviewer suggests a special chord to carry the higher amount of information. Her/his TV blacked out with with 4k DVD's. My old chords (3 prong antiques) did a poor job of video and when I hooked up the sound the TV went black. I bought the video chord suggested by the previous reviewer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CLUXTZ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am not equally impressed with the remote. Thick remote; buttons do not handle crisply. Have to point directly at DVD to get it to register. Still would get this again.

Works perfectly with my LG OLED.

Had for a couple of months now and everything works good and picture looks amazing.

UBK90 or UBKC90

One of the big questions is what’s the difference between UBK90 and UBKC90, which is sold in one of the large warehouse stores that begins with “C.” They are the same. I made calls to LG and the large warehouse store and were told they are identical. I also downloaded the owner’s manual with specs and the manuals are identical. I purchased the UBKC90 and above the serial number is the date of manufacture, which was April 2018. So the UBKC90 is NOT last years model and identical to the UBK90. You can go to the LG web site and compare both models and call them to confirm. Happy shopping.

Great player

Very happy with this 4K player AFTER I got the right hdmi cable. I had tried multiple cables even ones that were supposed to be rated 4K compliant. Figured I'd give it one more try and bought this cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CLUXVB6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Worked perfectly. Lesson? If you buy a 4K player, be forewarned that your current hdmi cables might not work. The symptom I kept running into was that it would play dvds and blu rays perfectly but if I inserted a 4K dvd my TV would turn on HDR and the screen would go black. Hope this helps

Excellent player to stream4k and dolby vision.

LG got it right, at last. This model ...

LG got it right, at last. This model works with 4k high definition blu rays and Atmos sound. The disk doesn't make any noise and the player works. Thanks LG.

Nice 4K UHD Player for Dolby Vision

This player was purchased for the UHD Dolby Vision capabilities. It does everything it said it would do. It plays 4K UHD disks with Dolby Vision or HDR10, and plays them well. It also upscales Blu Rays very well.

Great 4k hdr player

I got this LG to go with my Vizio p series. The picture quality is wonderful for hdr10 and Dolby vision it runs quiet. 1080p looks good, DVD films not so much. I do have one grip is that when I fast forward a DVD disc for some reason the entire player freezes I have to unplug it in order for it to work again still hunting for solutions, since I don't watch many DVDs nowadays it's not that big of a problem but if you have a big collection you might want to hold off on this particular player

Had up970,works better than up970.Buy it,its works great with LG oled tv.
