My daughter finally learned to swim because of Ear Ultra Band It!

My 10 yr old daughter struggled to learn how to swim for years. She a very brave, adventurous and athletic girl, so it perplexed me that she couldn't conquer swimming. Finally, after years of trying to learn she said, "I dont like how my ears feel in the water." So I hit the Googler and was surprised to learn that she was not alone and that a solution existed! It's important to note...I read the reviews for Ear Band It Ultra and the happiest customers suggested using wax earplugs with the Ear Band It Ultra and NOT the ear plugs that come with it. Long story short, it took one practice run on how to use the ear plugs and band...the VERY next day at camp she learned to how to swim! Side note: I was afraid that the brand name on the side would be too much for my liking but it was much more discrete in real life. One con: I think the band is a size medium. The velcro sticks in her hair. If it was a size larger the velcro would completely close and not get caught in her hair. Her confidence is up and she's learnt a new safety skill... a simple and life changing product!

Best Swimmers Headband I found after Trying Many!

I am an adult who recently ordered quite a few different headbands after an ear and sinus surgery. I found the Sharks Band and a another to be cheap knockoffs in comparison to this one. The headband is a thicker than the others, is not 100% symmetric (which it shouldn't be) so it indicates which direction to put on the headband by indicating which is the Left side, and the Velcro strip is larger on the back leading to a more secure and adjustable fit.

Worked like a charm!

My very picky/sensitive toddler happily wore these during her swim lessons while we were fighting off an ear infection with perforated ear drum. Loved the wide variety of colors available so we could pick her favorite color.

Excellent for kids with tubes!

We used this for the first time this weekend at an indoor water park on our 14 month old that has tubes. We used a puddy buddy in each ear first, then placed this band over them. He didn't like it at first and kept trying to pull it off (as he does with hats too), but we quickly distracted him with the water and he forgot all about it! (of course, as soon as we were out of the water he started trying to yank it off again). Also, I would follow age more than the head circumference...according to my kid's last Dr apt he has a 47.2cm head size which (according to the ear band-it size chart) would put it at a size Medium. I'm glad I went with my gut and got the 1-3 year size small because it fits perfectly with plenty of room to grow.

This arrived today and my daughter was eager to use it! She has been struggling in swim class because she hates the feeling of water going in her ears. We tried a swim cap which she didn't like because it pulled her hair and was hard to get on and off. Then I saw this product and it was exactly what she needed! I let her pick the color and when she went swimming today, she let her head and body float peacefully and no water went in her ears.

Very nice quality and design!

We used this for my daughter who is almost 3. She had to get tubes in her ears so she has to wear ear plugs when swimming. This helped keep the ear plugs nice and snug so they wouldn't fall out while she swam. The Velcro keeps the Ear Band-it nice and tight and doesn't come apart, slide, or fall off. I can't really judge the comfortability personally, but my daughter is kinda weird about things being on her head, like hats or headbands, but she never once seemed to be uncomfortable or troubled by the Ear Band-it. She kept it on every time she swam and didn't try ripping it off. So I would say that it was probably pretty comfortable. Definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs to cover up their ears while swimming.

My son got tubes and loves to swim under water. The band does a great job keeping the plugs in so he can swim normally. We love it!!!

thinking that tighter would be better. Well

My son's head (age 5) measured just at the min for the large, so I originally ordered a medium...thinking that tighter would be better. Well, the medium didn't work as well as the large. The shape made the medium not fully cover his ears, where the large was a perfect fit. This helps keep his Doc's Pro Plugs or Putty Buddies in place while swimming and diving.

Amazing

Get this product if your child has ear tubes. Its a life saver and puts your minds at ease. We used it on vacation where we went to a lake one day. We had so many people come up and ask "what is that" and "does it work"? I told them how to buy it and it totally does work. We got the same questions and a water park we visited and another pool. Once I upload my pictures from camera, I will add a picture. Buy this product, you won't regret it. Plus my 3 year old was asking for it, when I forgot to put it on! So, thats a win, win in my book!

I am an adult with a history of swimmer's ear infections since childhood. I wanted to swim laps but I was afraid the water would pour into my ear, when I turned my head to take a breath. Your product has been working well for me after 2 swimming sessions. All the pictures I've seen did not include anyone wearing a bathing cap. I'm swimming in a public pool so I have to wear a bathing cap and it works very well. I put in the earplugs I put on the band-It and finally the bathing cap which holds everything firmly in place. So far so good!
