They make me look sick!
I bought these for use while I learn to ride my new Ninebot One. They have already saved my knees, elbows, and palms on numerous occasions! They are easy to put on, comfortable and fun to decorate. My teenage daughter said that I looked "sick" in them! (That's "cool" in case you are old like me.)

Good for now
This is my second set of pads.I bought the first one for my son's friend ,and after looking at their quality I decided to buy one for him too.He really likes them so far,but it is a bit too early to judge.Only time will tell. They do run a bit too big (even over heavier clothes) as my son is pretty small for a 6 1/2 yo. Will update in case something changes.

Quality Pads, best 10 bucks I've spent in a while.
I'm a noob to mountain biking. Wore these on 3 rides so far to give me a bit more confidence. Crashed twice with these on, both going down hill. Landing on my knees and elbows with these on felt like landing on pillows! Both times I got up laughing because I felt NO pain at all. The pads are plush, and the plastic guards look like they take a lot more beating. My only complaint is that the knee pads get sweaty pretty easily (maybe that happens with most pads), and they tend to slide down a tad when I'm cycling, causing me to have to pull them back up occasionally. They DO run on the smaller end. I'm 5'8" 180 lbs adult male and although I'm on the shorter end, the girth of my legs and arms are pretty average I'd say. They fit me perfectly without the straps fastened. The elbow straps fasten all the way without feeling restrictive. The knee straps fasten only halfway before cutting off circulation. So I don't these would fit on a larger adult. I'd recommend these for anyone as long as they fit. They've saved my knees and elbows twice so far, allowing me an overall better experience in my biking.

Fairly priced, well constructed, anatomically correct and secure protector for a child <60 lbs.
Bottomline: BUY IT if you want a fairly priced, well constructed, anatomically correct and secure knee/elbow pad/wrist protector for a child less than 60 lbs. Dont buy it if your child is more than 60 lbs. I bought this set for my 8.75 yo daughter who is about 55lbs after I purchased the top rated Mongoose set as I realized it does not have a wrist protector which is very important as she was learning to skateboard and rollerblade at the same time. Materials used: The main protection is made, I think, from the same material as my black kitchen plastic laddle set, strong enough for protection and flexible to absorb some of the impact. The wrist protection has a strip of fake leather around the thumb and the rest is made of fabric that is probably the same material as a running shoe and the inside of a helmet. Design: I was surprised to see that the set is a little bit anatomically correct. The wrist protector curves about 10-15 degrees and follows the natural curve of the palm when in neutral position. The knee and elbow pads are also curved about the same amount and I think they right to do so because the elbows and knees are slightly bent when skateboarding and rollerblading but it still allows you to straighten your elbows and knees when you want to. The elbow and knee pad are also wider on the elbow and knee itself and tapers up and down on the elbow and knee respectively, effectively protecting the area above the elbow and the small bump under your knee (tibial tubercle) which, when you think about it, are the areas that actually hit the ground when falling (aside from the knee and elbow)! Finally, I love the elastic band around the elbows and knees because it helps keep the pads in place while you tighten it with the velcro. Price: For all the features noted above, I think it is fairly priced. Overall, I thinknits a fairly priced, well constructed, anatomically correct and secure knee/elbow pad/wrist protector for my daughter which I think she can use until she is 60 lbs.

Great protective gear for kids!!
We bought these for our 7 y/o son so he could roller blade and skateboard. Since we couldn't find any suitable gear in any store near us, we went for these. He's a big dude (65 lbs and 54" tall) so we got him the youth/teen model instead of the children's size. The knee pads are spot on, elbow pads are large on him and the wrist guards fit tightened down fully. They quality of the gear is really nice for the price point. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Pleasantly surprised!
I was pleasantly surprised by these. Most brick'n'mortar stores I visited wanted about the same $ for just knee pads or just elbow pads or just hand guards as you get here for all three. The description of sizing is a bit lacking so hope this helps - The children's size just barely fits (almost too big) my slim 5yr old daughter but will give her room to grow. They seem to be fairly well made. The knee and elbow pads have an elastic cuff that you slip your arm into that holds them in place while cinching down the velcro straps that also keeps the velcro from chaffing.

Be sure that your child correctly applies the wrist guards
The pads offer outstanding protection for my 7 year old daughter. Unfortunately, the top reviewer for this product displays a photo of a young boy wearing the wrist guards upside down, incorrectly applied to the hands in an unsafe manner that will not protect the wrists. This product fits very well for a standard size 7 old girl. Very affordable as well.

So far so good.
Perfect for my 11 yr old. He is 56 inches tall and weighs 75 lbs. Based on numerous reviews saying they ran small I bought the youth/teen size and if anything they are on the big side. He can easily put them on and off himself. Seem durable so far! One time he skated without knee pads and fell and got a big hole in his pants--so now this gear is mandatory!

Very impressed with the quality construction.
I got these for my granddaughters to use with the kick scooters at Grandma's house. They are very well made. These fit the 39 lb., 42" tall six year-old just right at the tightest placement. The elbow guards were a little loose yet for the 35 lb. 36" tall four year-old. The youngest will be four years old in a month, he wrist guards, and the elbow guards are a little too large for her 29 lb. 32" frame. The knee pads stay in place well. Obviously, since these are all at he tightest placement, they will fit much larger children. I bought the youth sizes for the 11 and 9 year olds. These were just a very little too snug for the nine year old, but he is very thin also.

Fits my three year old grandson. EXCELLENT quality!!
*VERY VERY well made! *HEAVY duty plastic guards. *Thick elastic w/ heavy velcro. I bought for my 3 year old grandson and they fit with room to grow. I looked at MANY protective gear products and I found this to be the best quality for a super price. We put the knee and elbow pads on for him-but he can take them off with no problems. The hand guards too big, but he may find a reason to use them in a few years. I LOVE that these come with a bag that fits all 6 pieces in perfectly. *I highly recommend this set, and this brand.
