Better than the Arm's Reach
I am a mom of 5 and have used quite a few bassinets in my day and this one is the hands down best. Better than a traditional bassinet, better than the Arm's Reach cosleeper, just fantastic. First things first, let's get things straight. The bassinet has the light and vibration unit in the center of the bed. So, of you put your baby's head in the center of the bed, it will vibrate right on their head and the light will shine on their eyes. I don't know about you, but when I sleep, I don't put my head in the center of my bed. I put my head at the head of my bed. If you put baby's head at one end of the bassinet, the vibration is strongest by their bum and belly, and the light shines on their butt area, right where you would want it for night time diaper changes. I don't use the light much, but the music and vibration have been very helpful so I think they are well worth the extra $30 that this model costs over the stripped down version. The spring loaded side wall works great. The weight of my baby in my hands plus my weight resting on my forearms as I lean over to put him in is more than enough to lower the side. This is a huge convenience over traditional bassinets where the rigid side basically forces you to stand up to get your baby in and out unless you are in a super tall bed. I also prefer this to the missing side rail set up that the Arm's Reach cosleeper uses. With the Arm's Reach the baby is lower than your mattress and the side next to your bed is missing. It was pretty easy to get babies in and out of that, but because the baby was low and the side was missing, I was constantly having to worry about bedding getting pushed over the side and onto baby. With the Halo my baby is equally easy to access from bed, but safer. The spring side wall is my favorite feature, but the swivel is nice too. It makes it much easier to get in and out of bed, so I don't have to crawl/scooch to the bottom of the bed to get out. One tip: The mattress isn't made of waterproof material (I wish it was, though most play yards and the Arm's Reach are the same way) so please do yourself a favor and put a waterproof bassinet sheet/pad under the fitted sheet to protect the mattress. I would not recommend machine washing and drying the mattress so you really want to try to keep it dry. All in all this is worth every penny, a great investment (and I suspect it will have a great resale value), very sturdy, well made, and useful.

Love!!
We love this bassinet! It fits perfectly over my bed so I can pull my baby close to me and be able to watch him sleep. It swivels in and out to make it easy to get out of bed. The light is a life saver for peaking at him and just enough light for me to nurse him in the middle of the night. And my baby loves the vibration setting, helps him fall asleep quickly! Also, the retractable side makes it so easy to get him in and out of the bassinet! Overall, I love the halo bassinet and it was worth the money. Will be good to keep for future babies as well!

Best thing to have in your bedroom post-partum
I initially was considering returning this item as my nursery/bed combo room is small and this can take up quite a lot of space with a crib as well. However, I am now using it for the first time as I just came home with my newborn and it has been a Godsend. Getting in and out is bed has been tough after my delivery so having this swivel bassinet is so convenient. Being able to see my baby in a 360 motion, and the cool little features it has (really making use of the white noise function!) are really awesome pros. The extra pockets in the sides keep things nice and safe for baby. Bringing him straight to my side without having to wait for my husband to wake up and bring him to me in and of itself makes this a 5-star product as doing that while at the hospital was a real pain. I found myself often wishing they had this at the hospital. The only con, like I mentioned, is that it takes up quite a bit of space, but honestly it's well worth it to have in the room than not.

This is a Must Have, Specially after a C-Section!
This is a must have for newborns, specially if you got a c-section. It’s really easy to install it. It doesn’t take a lot of space. I think the pad and the volume need some improvements.

Beautiful and worth the money!
I purchased a Babyletto Origami Mini Crib for our baby. Which we thought would be preferable and more practical since baby could use it until 18 months. We thought she could sleep in our room for the first year before moving to her regular crib. We thought we would skip the bassinet and save money since it’s usually only used in the first 2-3 months. So now our little girl is 3 months and a half, weighs 11 lbs. She has started turning on her side which is great but would keep slamming and getting wedges against the crib rails. When the breathable mesh bumpers didn’t work either we finally caved and bought this. I am so happy with this purchase. Sure it came late but she’s small enough she can probably use this until she’s about 5-6 months. It makes a huge difference for us and she can now turn safely without being pinned. We also positioned the crib so it doesn’t swivel when she moved around. Once she starts crawling or lifting we will move her to her crib. Beautiful bassinet and truly wish we had invested in it from the very beginning. :)

One of the best purchases we made for baby!
We love this bassinet! It’s so convenient for feedings in the middle of the night, keeping her close, and is so much safer than bedsharing with our newborn. It’s sturdy, swivels easily, and the bendable side rail makes it easy to pull her out for feedings or diaper changes without my having to get out of bed. I use the nightlight feature every night to help find her pacifier when she spits it out then gets mad that it’s gone haha. There are just a few things I wish were different. I wish the buttons would light up or have some kind of texture/were raised to be able to find them easier in the dark. I wish the nursing timer had either a visual countdown or a digital clock on it and had the ability to set a shorter duration since babies are supposed to nurse for 15-20 minutes per side, not 30 minutes. A little more variety in the number of songs/sounds it makes would be nice too. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase, and are definitely glad that we decided on this versus other bassinets. ETA: we’ve found that the battery life kinda sucks; I use the nightlight for 5 minutes or less most nights and hardly use the vibration or sounds but we’ve already had to replace the batteries (daughter is not quite 7 weeks old). The batteries died literally the night after I wrote my original review. But they’re AA batteries so they’re easy enough to replace.

Perfect co sleeper for 3rd baby
Where was this with my first 2 kids? I bought this in prep of my third kid. It was my first bassinet as the other 2 slept in our bed, this looked like a great safe sleeper. We do use dockatot in the bassinet and it fits perfectly still with a long 4 month old. I love that it adjusts to the hight of my bed (easily) and pivots. When my now 4 month old is asleep the pivot is so smooth I can move it back and forth and he never wakes up. The vibration and night light I use often especially in the early days. Overall this was worth every cent, I've never slept so well with a new baby. Cons: the base is heavy and pretty big so watch your toes. The batteries are a pain to change.

Good investment
Great product, super convenient to use by the bed. It's too heavy to lug from room to room if you have limited mobility, but nice and stable if you only keep it by the bed. The cover removes so you can run it through The wash, but watch out for the Velcro. It snagged the mesh and caused some pulling, but the damage was cosmetic. The light has 2 settings, the music is soothing, the vibration is great. I also appreciate the nursing timer.

Quality deal!
We love this bassinet! And I got it for $100 cheaper on Amazon than I could find anywhere else and I looked everywhere!!! The nightlight on this thing comes in handy and way it swivels next to the bed is great.
