Love These Locks

I didn't baby proof with my first two kids. My thought was "no, I want to teach them just not to open cabinets." Nice concept ... but as we got out numbered and the curiosity of my kids grew I realized I was creating chaos and an uphill battle for myself as a mom that works full time from home. I can not possibly have all three kids in sight all of the time. When we moved into our new house and prepared to adopt a newborn to make four little loves in our home, we bought a set of these magnet locks for all lower cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and the master bathroom. It look a few days to get used to grabbing for the magnet but it became second nature very quickly. What also happened very quickly was the kids stopped TRYING to open these specific cabinets and drawers because they knew they couldn't without assistance. I recently bought a second set to lock up the games cabinet and laundry room cabinets and I really wish I had done this from the beginning with my first child. AND they are so easy to install! I'm sure my kids could have installed them themselves, haha. Do yourself a favor and buy these child locks. They protect the kids in your life from potentially harmful exposure to cleaning products, medications, glass dishes, ect. and save your sanity in not having to tell them not to open doors or cabinets 1000x day, clean up unexpected messes when they DO open things up without you knowing, and you can save your energy for the good stuff like play time and cuddles with those little loves!

So easy to install

Take a minute to visit the website in the directions for a quick video...once I saw that it was easy to install (the directions were a bit confusing before I saw what they meant). I LOVE that you can install with the double sticky tape instead of screws...I may eventually use screws but it was nice to be sure they worked and were in a good placement before committing...and so far we haven't felt the need to use the screws...the tape is holding just fine!! Haven't tried them on a drawer yet...he can't reach those yet!! :)

100% EFFECTIVE

These locks are great and a no-brainer to install. I was able to complete all of the installations within 45 minutes and without any measuring. May have been quicker had I been more patient and taken measurements. My only complaint is fairly obvious in that I often forget to grab the magnet to unlock the cabinets thus causing me and my mom-brain to make several trips. However, knowing my daughter is safe despite her endless curiosity completely makes up for it.

Easy-To-Install Cabinet Locks

We used these locks for our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. My husband said they were very easy to install, and he liked that there was no drilling required. The lock is easy to use, even with our new cabinet hardware. I was worried it would be difficult to unlock them with the hardware, but the key works perfectly. And my cute little son definitely can't get into the cabinets! Hooray.

Works Great!

Very easy to install and it keeps my grandson out of the cabinets. It's a little inconvenient when you have to put dishes away but not worth degrading. I'll be buying more for the upstairs bathroom and hallway cabinets. I do wish it had more magnets, I only received two with a 16 pack. Other than that, I highly recommend the childproof cabinet locks.

Great cabinet locks to keep the kids out!

We bought these when our son would not stop tearing everything out of our cabinets. These were very easy to install and they work great. I was skeptical on how well they would work being that they are just stick on with Command adhesives, but they do also include screws if you want to go that route (we did not use the screws as we did not want to ruin our cabinets). These work great and withstand our 2 year old yanking and pulling on them with all his weight. Also it is nice they have the off feature so you can keep them unlocked if need when the kids are not around. I wish they would include more magnetic keys so we could spread them around the house without walking all over for keys.

Love the magnetic release

Love the magnetic release; sure beats the old system of having to stick your finger behind the door to open. Magnetic only has to be within an inch of door to release latch. We babysit 1 year old grandson 2-3 days a week and it's really nice that the latch can be locked open when he is not here. Also great having the ability to screw on latch and/or stick plate. The 3M tape works good on the smooth surface inside door for the latch, but the strike plate does not stick well on the edge part of the cupboard. The screws save the day here. Comes with 2 heavy duty magnets (1 sticks on side of fridge & the other the side of toaster).

Great Product

These are super easy to install and straight forward in their use. I also like the ability to leave them "Unlocked" so you can use your cabinets normally if you so desire. It makes for a much more seamless use and integration into your own life habits. And, they come with mounting screws, which is helpful if your cabinets have been repainted multiple times and don't have a good smooth surface to stick the adhesive to.

Amazing little device that works perfectly.

These things are soon cool. Like I'm impressed. The whole pack installs in minutes and holds tightly. The automatically locking mechanism works perfectly and keeps my curious little one safe and out of dangerous chemicals and pretty much so out of anything you put this lock on.
