Update after a good week of using phone: love it! Works great, good battery life, fast at performing everyday tasks. Couldn't be more satisfied with the cost and value with this phone. Received the phone from Amazon on time with adequate packaging as expected. Motorola boxed the phone well with instructions, power brick and charge cable. I went to Sprint and they installed a nano SIM card and activated the new phone for free. Phone is working great and is a welcome upgrade from my Samsung S5 this phone is replacing. The 64 gb storage is great, no more running out of storage and needing to delete apps to update current apps. Great job on this budget friendly phone.

I've used iPhones since the iPhone 4 and was eagerly awaiting the Xs and the rumored "budget" option to replace my iPhone se. But Apple decided to price their phones higher than I am willing to pay. I'd been considering trying Android for a while and this seemed like the right time to try. I wanted to see what I would miss, if anything, by getting a more affordable phone. Pros: the g6 does not feel like a budget phone. It is fast and feels more like a premium handset than I expected. The aspect ratio keeps it from feeling too big in your hands and 1 hand use is easy. The rest of my family has iPhones and I was concerned about how losing iMessage and FaceTime would work. Messaging has not been a problem at all and using Duo had been an easy way to continue video chatting. My less tech savvy family members had no problem using the Duo app. It's simple and works just like FaceTime. I really like the Android os as well. Notifications and navigation are better. It was not a difficult transition. Also, it had a headphone jack! Cons: camera. Apple knows how to do cameras. The one on the g6 isn't bad in good light, but expect a lot of motion blur is lighting is not ideal. Particularly if you have a toddler like I do. The iPhone se camera was better than the one on the g6. It's led me to use my nice mirorless camera more, which is actually a pro in some ways since it takes better pictures than any phone can do far. Summary - if you are annoyed at the rising prices of premium phones, particularly iPhones, I'd recommend the g6. I don't regret making the switch. I'm very happy with this phone.

Stepping over from a Verizon Note 5 and using straightalk's Verizon's service. Phone works great, very speedy not one glitch in the first month I've had it. I did however fork out the little bit extra for the extra 64gb storage 4gb ram version. What should interest alot of people using straightalk Verizon is that VOLTE and mobile hotspot both worked out of the box for me. This is a no brainer purchase if you use straightalk Verizon. I've been using them for years and never had VOLTE much less mobile hotspot work at all on any other phone except a Verizon lumia 929 icon. And I've used plenty of phone's on this service. Don't let online reveiws of the cameras on this phone scare you away they are more than adequete. I've added some photos of a car that came through where I work. I'll let you be the judge of the quality but wow, what a car!!! 70 Plymouth Superbird. All photos on auto everything and yup I was in a hurry, I was on the clock lol. Very low light photos do struggle but hey this is a $250 phone not a 1k Galaxy Note 9.

I absolutely love this phone. I switched to this after being a Samsung Galaxy user for the last 5 years (S5 then S7). This time I wanted an Android phone with a lot of storage space that would work without the hefty price tag. All reviews pointed to the Moto g6, and I am so glad I bought it! Like with any new phone, the buttons being in different places is taking some getting used to (The back button and app buttons are switched around compared to the galaxy), but this phone is really amazing. I stream a LOT of movies and music on my phones, and the image quality of the screen is suberb, as well as the audio quality. Even linking the bluetooth with my car, the volume capability is so much louder than I had with my old Samsung. Friends have commented that my voice is much clearer when I make phone calls, and considering the lower price tag, I was suprised at how fast the phone works- my old Samsung would constanly freeze up on me as it got older. There are a lot of little things I like about it too (such as apps being put in alphabetical order automatically, not having a bunch of pre-installed apps running and using up my battery). The battery life is also really great, it lasted 2 full days on one charge with moderate use. Also, the camera is much better than I expected for a 'budget' phone- the quality so far is crystal clear, except in low interior lighting (which was the same flaw with my Galaxies) If you are looking for a smartphone that can run with the big name brands like Pixel, iPhone, Galaxy, or Note, while costing les than half the price, this is the phone for you! And obviously, it's even cheaper if you go with a lower GB storage than me :)

My requirements for a phone are very few. Other than the ongoing need for it to serve as an electronic leash (which technically is my wife’s requirement anyway), I principally need it run Android Auto, which my previous, long-in-the-tooth budget phone, running Marshmallow with just 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on board storage, was simply unable to do. My new phone search criteria were straightforward: It had to be compatible with T-Mobile’s network; had to be running Android Oreo; had to have at least 3 GB of RAM/32GB of on board storage. As Android Auto can be a bit flaky, I felt the less bloatware it came with, the better and I really didn’t want to spend more than $300 as I couldn’t justify the expense. Having done quite a lot of research, the MotorolaG6 came out as the best choice for me: Motorola phones are known for not having too much additional software installed, and while there are a few 'Moto' phones in this price bracket, the review ratings for the G6 were exceptional. I was going to buy the standard 3GB RAM/32GB Storage, but the amazon exclusive 4GB RAM/64 GB Storage seemed like a bargain, although I was a little wary of the fact that it came with a few Amazon apps preinstalled. I’ve had the phone for a week now and I couldn’t be happier: • The phone feels very solid and the deep indigo is a nice color. • Call quality is very good. • Speed of operation is very quick – Android Auto runs seamlessly and with no lag while switching between tasks • The fingerprint reader (which wasn’t a must have for me) has been a pleasant surprise: it seems to work very well and has made waking the phone and logging into banking apps etc. much less hassle • The ‘moto” features: ‘chop’ twice to activate the flash-light, twist twice to activate the camera are also quite useful. • While the Amazon apps that are bundled with this edition cannot be uninstalled, it’s up to the user if they wish to run/use them and they don’t seem to get in the way. I was a bit concerned that Alexa would usurp/interfere with Google Assistant, but it does not. • The camera doesn’t seem to be anything special, but that was never a deal breaker for me. • I’m told it’s not a gaming phone as the processor isn’t state of the art, but that’s just the icing on the cake for me. It certainly seems more than adequate for what I need it to do. I think If you’re looking to upgrade from a lower end budget phone, you can’t go wrong with this phone: it’s got a lot of bang for the buck with a few features you didn’t know you needed and almost none that you don’t.

Feature rich for the price (and it was nice that it had a very good discounted for Prime day). So far, the Moto has worked wonderfully: • It has a quick charge feature - the battery charged fast (took about an hour to charge from about 10% to 100% using the wall plug that shipped with the phone). It does use a USB-C connector, so I had to buy some adapters so I do not have to lug around the USB-C cable around with me (I have enough adapters for home use, have in my vehicle and work use). • The battery life is decent - with moderate use (several phone calls, minimal texting, reviewing email, Web browsing, Facebook/LinkedIn use, an hour or two of gaming during my typical day), a full charge drops to between 30% - 40% by the end of the day. • The speaker/sound system is superior to all my prior phones - I actually had to turn down the media volume (full volume is a little TOO Loud for my comfort). • The phone size is slightly smaller than my previous BLU XL2 size, however, the screen has superior resolution and it's touch sensitivity is very good and precise (I have large hands, men's XL glove size which made it easy for me to “fatfinger” the virtual keyboards on most of my previous (admittedly bargain priced) phones.) • It is really really really nice that it has 64 GB of ram. In the past, it was almost mandatory that I had to add a SD card to have adequate space on my previous phones for all the apps I wanted or needed for work. i will eventually get a SD card for this phone, but I do not feel any pressure due to disk space, so I am in no hurry. • This is the first phone I owned that has a finger sensor - so far it has worked flawlessly. Hopefully, this phone will last without issues for the next 2+f years. Some of the negative reports that say the phone is "slippery" this is somewhat true, but I bought a well rated case (I chose a Moto G6 Rugged Case, Poetic Revolution which has worked well) so this is not an issue for me.

I have ben using Moto devices since the first Moto X and I have never been let down. The G series convinces me every day that I was right to swear off flagship phones for ever. The Moto G6 is a great phone with a crisp screen, a zippy processor, and a clean Android experience. I am not a game player, but with social media and news, I am on my phone a lot. The G6 handles everything I do with no lag or hesitation. The fingerprint scanner seemed too small, but it works great and I am used to it now. The battery life is good, not the best with my heavy use, but it's on par with other phones I have used. The camera is nice and takes good pictures. I really like the front selfie flash. I take a lot of pictures with my phone camera and so far I have been happy with the results. I also LOVE the double twist gesture to open the camera app, I am always ready to go. I wish it had an OLED screen, but the LCD is bight and clear. I watch Netflix at the gym and it always looks great. Another thing is the speaker. It sounds very good and it is ON THR FRONT!!! Bottom firing speakers are so annoying because I am always covering the grill with my finger. But the front firing speaker on the G6 does not have that issue. All in all a really good phone for under $300.

I've had the phone for about a week now and it's like remembering why I loved Motorola years ago. It can keep up with all of my mobile games and still have plenty of memory. It has dual screen mode so I can do to things at once without having to switch open apps. It's a massive improvement over my previous Samsung Galaxy S5. While I wouldn't compare it to the Samsung S8 or S9 the Moto G6 is perfect for the average person's needs. It's fast, it's pretty and both the sound and video are definitely excellent quality. The camera works so much better than I had any hope of it doing when I considered the phones price. Like all phones it has it's quirks but the only major flaw I have is I can't find a good protective case for it.

I've been a fan of the Moto G series since it originally launched. They've always been great phones for those who aren't interested in the bells and whistles and just want a phone that will perform great out of the box. This generation is no exception, and I know I've owned ever gen except the 5th since it came out after I got my G4 Plus 64gb. The glossy back is this lovely dark almost velvety blue glass that makes it the best looking Moto G yet.The performance is great and the build quality is exceptional for a phone under $400. Is it the fastest processor? No, but it's running a vanilla android 8.0 rom so it doesn't matter. You don't need the biggest E-peen out there in a phone. The best part of it is the fact you disable almost all the amazon apps you don't use so they don't clutter your app drawer. Honestly I thoroughly thrilled with this phone and I can't wait for my new Ringke case to come in for it.

This was a gift for my beloved amazing wife. She absolutely loves this phone! She stated " this is the best phone she has ever owned" . We are not flag ship phone people as we can't justify spending that kind of money on a phone. So this was for us a very expensive purchase and we feel very much worth the asking price, especially seeing how we keep our phones for years until they stop working, we feel like this phone will last for years to come!
